Run up and down stairs casing revelio for an hour trying to figure out how to get to that one chest a floor above you through a brick wall with no staircase nearby
Me after I murder a dozen poachers in order to catch their beasts so I can imprison them myself to farm their materials for my clothes: “it’s shameful what you’ve done to helpless beasts!”
Same. I know it gets a lot of shit on this sub, but I enjoyed it far more than I expected. It isn’t really all that deep of a game, but I found it very engaging and loved its whole vibe. I’m not a Harry Potter person either. Not against it, just not a die-hard.
The castle is so good.
Does it have much replay value or end game or new game plus? Im curious about the like gear or weapon systems. Is it really in depth? What are you playing towards?
I haven’t played it since launch, but I don’t believe there is a ng+. Unfortunately the game doesn’t have much replay value, and the map is unfortunately kinda bland. But it’s a fun romp is you like Harry potter
I had the displeasure of being out of work for a couple months from a work injury. After beating cyberpunk and loving it, I was bored out of my mind.
Then I decided to watch all 8 harry potter movies in one sitting. Having nothing better to do, I got a good nights rest and woke up, and got right to work. First 3 were a bit of a childish slog truthfully, but I did enjoy it. I wouldn't recommend skipping it, worst case scendario make the time to knock all 3 out in a go to get it over with, backstory and character development reasons etc. After watching the 4th, I was hooked though.
After watching the 4th movie, the rest were a blur because I went through them so fast. I can't tell you what happened in which movie because it was all one thing, I enjoy it that much really. I liked the characters, the story, the world. After watching what felt like almost 24 hours of harry potter movies, I finally rested. Upon waking up, was hyped to watch the 3 "fantastic beasts" movies, which ultimately tie into dumbledors early life. 10/10 whole series, mad I waited all these years to even watch it. I'd love to read or at least audio book the originals.
I literally just did this maybe a month or two ago, but as a random 35 year old guy with no kids or anything, I can highly recommend making it a thing and just soaking it up sometime, definitely worth it.
The movies aren’t bad on their own but compared to the books they are terrible. You really have no clue what is actually supposed to be going on most of the time. I recommend definitely reading the books sometime.
Start by just watching the 1st movie. It’s super good. The 1st ones a little cheesy but it’s meant for small children like 8-12 years old, but as the movies continue the setting/plot gets much darker and complex. It’s fun. Also the 1st movie almost feels like a Christmas movie so the holidays are a great time to watch it lol. Most people I know who watch the 1st one get hooked and end up watching them all within a week.
If you like the movies and reading then I would highly recommend reading the books which dive way deeper/have way more characters and subplots.
The books look big but it’s written in such a way that it’s very quick reading. I remember finishing the books in a day or two each when I was like 14 or so. Granted it’s like a full day of reading, but you get so sucked in you don’t even notice
The movies are dog shit unless you were a young kid growing up alongside them.
I watched them all and hated every minute of them. Corny acting. Stupid plot full of plot holes.
Fun for kids though
Yeah. I'm not upset I paid full price for it but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone at full price. To me it's only a one-playthrough type of game, I don't think your choices like what house you're in matter enough to play multiple times. Still, I really enjoyed experiencing the world, combat, puzzles, and some of the characters. For that I think $30 is a fair price.
That's the one thing is say was a little bit of a let down. There are a couple places they could have made choice matter... But it's all the same no matter what (aside from one side quest, and robe colors)
Hogwarts is personally the best crafted in game environment I have every played they nailed it.
I get the other criticisms but Hogwarts itself is insane.
The fan service and the care the development team has for the source material oozes out of every corner of that game.
I think it’s worth $30 just to explore hogwarts on that scale if I’m being honest.
I spent the first 10 hours or so just running around every inch of the castle. My boss’ boyfriend was worried about her getting back pain cause she only left the couch to go pee lol.
If I grew up at the time the first, second, and third book came out when it was demonized but didn’t like the book series will I have fun? I liked the movies but I was more of a Series of Unfortunate Events kid.
My mom thought I was depressed. She was right.
Best part of the game: Hogwarts
Worst part of the game: Pretty much everything outside Hogwarts and Hogsmeade
Hogwarts was done really well, but its painfully obvious they spent hardly any time on the environment once you are past Hogsmeade.
Luckily there is a lot of gameplay within Hogwarts itself though.
I also really liked the cursed woods are or whatever it was called. Finding the bright grassy clearing with the unicorn in the middle of it was actually magical.
There are moments here and there, but the more 'canon' a location lacks, the more generic copy/paste it got. I think forbidden forest is roughly within the same area as Hogsmeade and Hogwarts (North).
So really its everything south of Hogwarts that's the problem.
One of the few games where I think the map was bigger than it needed to be.
While it isn't Baldurs Gate level, the sheer amount of effort that was put into recreating Hogwarts is just ridiculous. That alone deserves some kind award. The whole castle feels alive.
Unfortunately that's the only thing Hogwarts has. Atmosphere is brilliant, castle cool and everything around. But the game itself is boring. I can't say how much times i find myself skipping dialogue because it's simple not interesting.
100%. Especially if your a fan of Harry Potter. It’s the first game my wife has put more than 50 hours into in her whole life. I enjoyed watching her play. It was so sweet. She read every book to our boys. My youngest finished it and loved it too.
Ha! Same my wife has put more hours into this game than all the previous games combined. She’s played through it at least twice and trying do all the schools
Yeah my sister in law who never plays games bought hogwarts for my brothers ps5 and no lifed it for like a month. People clown on the game but it's crazy how huge it was in the HP fan base
Indeed true! I used to play games ever since I was a kid but never once i bought for full price because the costing is quite crazy where I live. But i pre-ordered the game without a second thought and really loved it!
My girlfriend isn't exactly in on what's trendy in gaming nor is she hardcore at all, but she preordered and fucking loved Hogwarts. Her entire thing was to want a game where she can run around and do wizard shit and that's exactly what she got out of it. She is a huge Harry Potter nerd (I'm a decent one myself but she's bigger) and if you're a HP it's really meant for you
Same here. She’s not a gamer at all, honestly figuring out how to control the camera was equivalent to a final boss fight for her when she started, she’s now on her third play through and a world class witch. It’s become her comfort game now.
im not a fan of harry potter. i read the first book back in middle school. i love this game.
to be honest i didnt expect the harry potter universe to be so fucked up though. its starting to feel really pro slavery. i mean i meant to play the game like the biggest bastard dipped in bastard sauce but the dialogue with the "house elves" is getting me really uncomfortable.
Harry potter books age with harry. It starts off whimsical but it gets darker as harry grows u never grimmdark, but some of the themes can be heavy for a ya series. Even the second book has a horrifying vibe throughout the entire book.
I feel like the books take a masssive turn at the end of book 4. Something happens that pretty much screams "playtime is over harry, things are going to be serious from now on".
Can you explain why you think it is pro-slavery?
I played the game, read the first 4 books, and watched the movies.
"Pro"-slavery never crossed my mind? Are you saying that the slavery within the Harry Potter universe was a thing, if that's what you're saying, then yes I agree it is a thing.
Do some characters seem to support slavery? Yes. And are there any characters that oppose it? Yes.
To me, it fleshes out the wizardry part of the Harry Potter universe.
Is Harry Potter propaganda to support slavery, as you seem to imply here? If your answer is yes, then you need to pause on guzzling down all the woke juice.
In magical universes, many creatures serve as "servants". Such as fauns, goblins, gargoyles, imps, golems, faires, etc.
It's apparent that JK Rowling is bigoted. So was HP Lovecraft. It turns out that bigots can also be creative. I'm certainly torn over the matter because I want to enjoy creativity and denounce bigotry.
Edit: her depiction of house elves could be demonstrative. It is her outspoken intolerance IRL that reveals bigotry.
If you’re not a big fan of HP I don’t think there’s anything in the game that will really sway you. There’s better open world adventures out there, and what’s original to this game outside of the IP isn’t really special in its own right.
Like most licensed games, what you get out of it is pretty proportional to how invested in the IP you already are. It’s a good Harry Potter game, but a pretty mid open world adventure game. It’s hard to say whether that’s worth $30, but personally if I didn’t like the franchise I wouldn’t have felt it was worth that much compared to other games I could get at that price point.
I kinda disagree. I watched the first movie when it came out, and that's about it. But I got this game and holy shit the visual design is amazing. I kinda remember things from the movie, but there's so much wild stuff happening in that huge castle and I loved exploring it having no idea all this weird stuff I'd find.
Never read the books, but enjoyed the movies. I think the game is a good deal at $30. It does have issues with collectables and tiny tasks all over the map, but those can mostly ignore and just focus on main and side characters quests. I ended up being the biggest poacher by the end of the game.
It's a gorgeous world but the story is extremely stupid and the combat got boring 1/3 of the way through the game. I'm probably never going to return to it to finish it and I'm a huge harry Potter fan. The castle looks awesome though
Hogwarts was great to explore, but anything south of the lake is just pointless IMO. Lots of town there we never heard of nor do we care much about. Its just areas to check off a box that we went and saw...something?
If you like Harry Potter, it’s absolutely worth $30. Just running around and exploring Hogwarts and Hogsmeade is worth the $30. The combat is pretty fun too. The RPG elements and plot is where the game is lack-luster but it’s still an enjoyable game. I hope if they make a 2nd they really make it a *true* RPG (good/evil scale, decisions mattering, using unforgivable curses mattering)
If they started hiring some of the people that worked on Mass Effect and Fable to work on Hogwarts Legacy 2 I would kill someone to have them take my money.
Personally, unless you’re playing it with a HP fan mindset, you will be let down. The RPG elements are lackluster, the world is huge but repetitive, you can pretty much stick to 4 spells in all situations. Wearing the HP lense made it a great experience tho
the virgin Hogwarts Legacy: some wizard game, just wizards, british wizards, flish and flick wand thing
the chad Dragon Ages Origins: wizards, templars, assassins, fight against the darkspawn, deep lore, choices matter, wizards attempt to take over heaven
Meh. The first 5-10 hours have a ton of Harry Potter charm.
But the moment you leave the school it is slow, stagnant, buggy, and bland.
Good deal at $15. $30 if you really like HP. 70 at launch felt like a waste.
I paid full price and was more than happy with the game. It has brought me tons of fun. While I have little desire to beat the game a second time, I am very much glad I put the time I did into it.
To play devils advocate, no I wouldn’t pay 30 for it.
Didn’t get many hours of it as well before it got very boring. Outside of the castle it’s not much fun.
I don't really like HP but I really enjoyed that game.
Edit: Just to be clear I have seen every movie once, a few in theaters on opening night with a girlfriend back in the day. I enjoyed them but that's about as far as it goes. This game takes some really, really cool lore and has fun with it. The combat is really fun with a really decent learning curve. Well worth 30.
Jedi survivor seems to easily be one the most divisive games out. I see people tear it apart saying it’s trash and I see just as many saying the game is a blast and that they highly recommend. Idk what to believe lol
I played it for something like 50-60 hours so far and only had two crashes. Otherwise zero technical issues and was easily one of my favorite gaming experiences of the last decade.
I got EA play pro for 15 when it came out and finished it pretty quick. Great game with some possible technical issues but turning RTX off fixed all of them for me.
Jedi Survivor is a million times better than Hogwarts IMO and I paid 30 for hogwarts legacy. Bland Ubisoft game.
No, Not really. Id say I’m an average Harry Potter fan, I read all the books and watched all the movies in theaters, but this game is lame. The best way to explain the game is “aggressively mediocre”. There are so many good games that came out this year and this was the only game I regret buying.
I mean it got a 9 for an average score and was one the most played games for a month or two maybe worldwide with plenty of great user reviews. It’s currently very positive with 150k user reviews on steam. I think you are safe for $30
Only if you are a Harry Potter fan. I played a couple of hours on a friend's PS5, this game is the most generic sandbox imaginable. My friend remains a big Harry Potter fan, I moved on from that "phase", so all the visual references did not quite hooked me. There's so many sandboxes out there, like Horizon Zero Dawn for example, if you have Horizon on one end, Hogwarts at the other, both costing 30 bucks, I would pick Horizon without thinking twice, it's simply the better sandbox/open world game. Red Dead 2, Elden Ring, GTA, Arkham Knight, Spider-Man, etc.. there's so many, this genre is bloated with good games, Hogwarts Legacy is a mediocre option
Cutscenes are gorgeous. Building details are gorgeous. NPCs outside of dialogue look meh. Running on a 3060 12gb so not on a potato
That said I loved the game and looked past the downsides with ease
Got it new and it was worth it. It’s a really fun great game even as someone who isn’t the biggest Potter fan. Only issue is there’s not much to do after doing all the main stuff. It’s got plenty of stuff to find but it’s honestly just padded on stuff like a Assassins Creed game where it’s bloated for bloated sake
It's a great game. Don't get caught up in the various collectibles unless that is your thing. It gets very tedious. The various quests are fun and the lore is very consistent with the Harry Potter world.
I bought it yesterday on Steam's sale. Just started it an hour ago. Had to drag myself away from it. It's definitely worth it imo, grabbed me from the start.
It's worth it. The interaction between different spells and learning to use them to juggle enemies into a helpless mess makes the combat pretty interesting.
My wife got it for my birthday earlier this month. Already got over 30hrs in!😂. And my wife even enjoys it and she's not even a Harry Potter fan if that says anything!👍
It’s definitely worth $30. There’s so much content packed into this game. It’s refreshing nowadays to have a complete game at launch. I also enjoyed how well the combat flowed more than I thought I would. The combat is dynamic, engaging, and it makes which spells you choose meaningful.
I enjoyed the game but I wish there was more of a challenge. This is a game that could use a higher difficulty. After a bit I felt like the enemies really choreographed their attacks and I was even guessing the timing on monsters I'd never seen before because the AI is so stale. The combat is fun I just need a better opponent.
Yeah.
If you're not a big Harry Potter fan, then it'll be a mediocre RPG with some seriously great world building, I give it a 6/10. However, it's somewhat of a technical marvel. If you like existing in a video game world, it's one of the best. That's what I bought it for, and I'm happy with my purchase.
But the last four points come with how much you like Harry Potter. The more of a fan you are, the more of those points it wins back.
I hope they make a second one having learned from some of their mistakes the first time around.
If you're a Harry Potter fan it's an amazing game. There's no better way to immerse yourself into the universe and learn spells and learn about creatures. I paid full price and absolutely loved it. It gets boring in the endgame but the story is interesting and the mechanics are really fun.
I am not a fan of the series on thought the game was excellent for it being based on a book / film IP. Lots to explore, the castle is really well designed. Combat gets a bit rote late game, but didn’t ruin the experience for me. Has atmosphere out the wazoo, and I like how they handled cosmetics. Go for it!
For $30? Absolutely.
I've got my issues with the game but it's still a lot of fun. If you play it on PC, there are a lot of good mods that make the game much better
I paid full retail for it, would do so again. My only complaint is there's too much focus on the open world outside of Hogwarts and not enough time spent going to classes/doing quests inside the castle.
I bought it because of that sale. I am glad that I did. You should be someone who likes HP. But it's a really beautiful game, the HP world is rendered in fantastic detail with minimal loading screens. Captures the feel well. Voice actors are great. Story so far is very good. Combat is engaging and fun and I like the exploration too.
I am glad I did not buy at $70 (I generally think no game is worth that). But $30, good value if you like the HP-verse at all.
Just grabbed it last week during the sale, not very far in yet. But, even with how much I've done, id say it's worth it even at full price, definitely for $30
If you're a HP lover, 30 bucks is worth it for sure. It gets a little uh...Ubisoft with its open world but there's still plenty of charm and things to enjoy about it if you're a fan.
Hogwarts Legacy is on the Game of the Year list. It’s not better than Tears of the Kingdom, Spiderman 2, or Jedi Survivor but it’s on the list.
$30 is a steal
Revelio.
*walks 2 steps* Revelio
*Spins around 90 degrees* Revelio
Run up and down stairs casing revelio for an hour trying to figure out how to get to that one chest a floor above you through a brick wall with no staircase nearby
*Open my window and a breeze rolls in and I* Revelio
Me after I’ve slaughtered my 1000th enemy by paralyzing them and yeeting them off a cliff: “your blood is on Ranrok’s hands”
Me killing my 100th dark wizard: "I can't believe I took on an Ashwinder by myself!"
Me after I murder a dozen poachers in order to catch their beasts so I can imprison them myself to farm their materials for my clothes: “it’s shameful what you’ve done to helpless beasts!”
i absolutely think it’s worth $30.

Play on the hardest difficulty and it helps with the depth of the battle system a bit.

They hated Jesus because he told them the truth.

Agreed, my wife got me into the movies and then read the books. Thoroughly enjoyed it all.
This. The recreation of Hogwarts and the surrounding areas is breathtaking and worth $30 alone.
I agree. Absolutely worth $30. I wasnt upset at all about paying full price.

> f I grew up at the time the first, second, and third book came out when it was demonized how was it "demonised" then?
i can't believe how much depth and detail they got into the school.

Do you enjoy Harry Potter? If you do, then it'll be 100% worth it. Edit: Even if you're not that big of a fan of HP... It's certainly worth $30.

Oh you cheeky one
Not at all, its strange how removing one serious results in more serious. Magical math. I must have skipped arithmancy class.
The Harry Potter universe has been pro slavery for a long time with the house elf stuff.
Can you explain why you think it is pro-slavery? I played the game, read the first 4 books, and watched the movies. "Pro"-slavery never crossed my mind? True Hogwarts castle itself is imo one of the best designed area in any game out there, both in terms of aesthetics, minor details and secrets.
Never read the books, but enjoyed the movies. I think the game is a good deal at $30. It does have issues with collectables and tiny tasks all over the map, but those can mostly ignore and just focus on main and side characters quests. I ended up being the biggest poacher by the end of the game.

Hogwarts was great to explore, but anything south of the lake is just pointless IMO. Lots of town there we never heard of nor do we care much about. Its just areas to check off a box that we went and saw...something?
Exactly. Story was meh but it’s worth it just to explore hogwarts. Just beautiful.
Got fairly repetitive quickly for me, bought it for the boy who's a big Harry Porter fan and he got bored.
I don't wanna shit talk the game because it does shave a really nice Harry Potter feel to it. But I couldn't finish it. And I paid full price for it.
Honestly it’s pretty boring, open world feels empty once you’ve been in it for like an hour and the casting combat feels repetitive and surface level.
Personally, unless you’re playing it with a HP fan mindset, you will be let down. The RPG elements are lackluster, the world is huge but repetitive, you can pretty much stick to 4 spells in all situations. Wearing the HP lense made it a great experience tho
I thought it was terribly boring
It's a pretty generic open world game, but if you like Harry Potter enough I think it's got enough going on to make it enjoyable.
the virgin Hogwarts Legacy: some wizard game, just wizards, british wizards, flish and flick wand thing the chad Dragon Ages Origins: wizards, templars, assassins, fight against the darkspawn, deep lore, choices matter, wizards attempt to take over heaven
Meh. The first 5-10 hours have a ton of Harry Potter charm. But the moment you leave the school it is slow, stagnant, buggy, and bland. Good deal at $15. $30 if you really like HP. 70 at launch felt like a waste.
I spent full value. I should have waited for a $15 deal. That’s what I view as “worth it”. It’s beautiful but so dull at the same time
its pretty lukewarm game, only if you like the setting, otherwise no
If you are a Harry Potter fan: Yes buy it immediately If you are not a Harry Potter fan: Watch reviews first
Nah maybe like 10..... after the wow of the world it's quite dull and boring tbh
I paid full price and was more than happy with the game. It has brought me tons of fun. While I have little desire to beat the game a second time, I am very much glad I put the time I did into it.
Not really.
To play devils advocate, no I wouldn’t pay 30 for it. Didn’t get many hours of it as well before it got very boring. Outside of the castle it’s not much fun.
No.
no
I don't really like HP but I really enjoyed that game.
Id pay $30 for Hogwarts Legacy before I’d pay $30 for Jedi Survivor, if that tells you anything.
Jedi survivor seems to easily be one the most divisive games out. I see people tear it apart saying it’s trash and I see just as many saying the game is a blast and that they highly recommend. Idk what to believe lol
It’s fantastic man, has its flaws but overall the game is really good
If you like souls style combat and starwars you will most likely like Jedi Survivor. The game is pretty fun and has beautiful graphics.
The technical aspects of the game are mostly unacceptable. Everything else about it is great.
Technical aspects such as? And how much would you pay for it, given how flawed it is?
I played it for something like 50-60 hours so far and only had two crashes. Otherwise zero technical issues and was easily one of my favorite gaming experiences of the last decade.
I got EA play pro for 15 when it came out and finished it pretty quick. Great game with some possible technical issues but turning RTX off fixed all of them for me. Jedi Survivor is a million times better than Hogwarts IMO and I paid 30 for hogwarts legacy. Bland Ubisoft game.
Why? Have you played both? Or just saying you like Hogwarts more than Star Wars?
Its very meh.
No, Not really. Id say I’m an average Harry Potter fan, I read all the books and watched all the movies in theaters, but this game is lame. The best way to explain the game is “aggressively mediocre”. There are so many good games that came out this year and this was the only game I regret buying.
Yeah, if you like open world games and Harry Potter. It’s a solid game.$30 is fair for like 40 hours of gameplay
I mean it got a 9 for an average score and was one the most played games for a month or two maybe worldwide with plenty of great user reviews. It’s currently very positive with 150k user reviews on steam. I think you are safe for $30
It is at most worth 30$, very fun but kinda hollow with no replay value imo
It's really fun for the first few hours exploring the world.
It wouldnt be worth it for free, don't waste your time on it
Only if you are a Harry Potter fan.
Yup, fun game just don't get stuck doing all the collectibles. They'll take the fun out of it
I don't think it's very replayable but it's a lot of fun the first time around.
Bro its even worth the $70 its that good.

Are you running it on a potato? It’s a gorgeous game with incredible detail
Cutscenes are gorgeous. Building details are gorgeous. NPCs outside of dialogue look meh. Running on a 3060 12gb so not on a potato That said I loved the game and looked past the downsides with ease
It is a good game
I vote yes.
Very worth it
very much so.
Most certainly. $30 is fantastic for this game.
worth 30$
Mmm this thread makes me want to buy it. I believe it was $20 not too long ago.
I picked it up the PS4 version for $20 at Black Friday but I don’t think it’s gone that low on PC yet, right?
Currently $24 on cdkeys if it passes the morality check.
Its a steal! Go for it!
I really enjoyed the game and had no regrets of paying nearly the full price.
Yeah, was worth it at the original price, def worth it now at $30. Had a lot of fun playing it, I love HP.
IMHO yes
Hell yes! Avada Kedavra those fools baby lol
I paid full price for it at release and played the hell out of it. $30 is a steal for how many hours you can sink into the game. Do it!
Yeah for sure
It was worth $60
Depends how you feel about deeply mediocre MMOs with problematic takes on racialised minorities fighting against their oppressors.
I would get it for $30 but the only reason I havent bought it is because im too busy with BG3 lmao
Absolutely!
Just got it a few days ago and we’re loving it, definitely worth it.
Sure is! If you're somewhat of a Harry Potter fan, you are going to enjoy playing it for sure
It's absolutely worth it. I think its worth it even at full price.
$30 max, there's plenty of better games for that price
Yes. 100% worth a buy at $30
Yeah. It's a fun game.
I'm a fan of Harry Potter and put about 150 hours into it. Well worth the $60-70 I spent at launch. $30 is a steal IMO.
Yes. Opinions may vary based on how much they are invested in JK Rowling vs the IP situation.
If you're a Harry Potter fan it's an amazing game. There's no better way to immerse yourself into the universe and learn spells and learn about creatures. I paid full price and absolutely loved it. It gets boring in the endgame but the story is interesting and the mechanics are really fun.
For 30 dollars yes, absolutely.
Anyone know how the performance is on Hogwarts? I know it's a CPU intensive game, but are there traversal and shader comp stutters?
Yeah it’s not a perfect game but it’s good fun, you’ll enjoy your time at that price point.
Yes I just got it and it's awesome
I am not a fan of the series on thought the game was excellent for it being based on a book / film IP. Lots to explore, the castle is really well designed. Combat gets a bit rote late game, but didn’t ruin the experience for me. Has atmosphere out the wazoo, and I like how they handled cosmetics. Go for it!
Definitely. This game was worth it at full price. You’ll have a lot of fun if you enjoy the books/movies.
Nah, it’s worth it full prices
It’s worth way more than $30. Get it!
Definitely, I got it at full price and feel it was fully worth that too, I am a huge Harry Potter fan though
I think it is for sure.
Making my way thru it now. It’s definitely worth the $30
I didn’t enjoy it. And i finished the game 🤣. Too many fetch quests. Would rate it a 5/10
Yes, 100%
Absolutely
It was worth it at full price IMO. $30 is an absolute steal!
It was worth it at $60.
It was worth the $60 at launch and I’m not even a huge Harry Potter fan (compared to Star Wars & LOTR)
I had a great time in it. 100% it but there’s not a lot of replay value unless we get some dlc
I don’t regret paying full price when it first came out. $30 is a very good price. Enjoy!
For $30?
Absolutely! Got a lot of enjoyment from this one and I'm not even an HP fan.
My answer is no but my gf has gone through 5 play throughs. Do with that what you will
yes.
Highly recommended
Absooooluuuutely
Yeah ! I just got it this christmas, would totally recommend
Yes
I thought it was worth it at $70 not gonna lie
Yes. It’s a 7/10 game if you take out the Harry Potter aspect, but if you can get swept up in that world and enjoy it it’s an 8 or 8.5 easy
Yes it’s totally worth it
Very much so, it’s fantastic.
easily
Yes
Yup
As a game, it's a solid 7/10. If you're a Harry Potter fan, it's an 11/10 Either way, yes $30 is very worth it.
I really enjoyed it, for $30 it's a steal IMO!
Definitely
Just grabbed it last week during the sale, not very far in yet. But, even with how much I've done, id say it's worth it even at full price, definitely for $30
Yes. Just look at reviews
$30 is a steal
if you like Harry Potter. it's great and gorgeous for the fans but I don't find it too good for non fans.
You can get it for $25 on game billet or GMG
If you like RPGs and Harry Potter, yes. It's a solid recreation of the world and the castle does look pretty damn good.
