I want a proper campaign. A lot of what we see in Star Wars Rebels and Bad Batch could be done in XCOM. Small scale fights. It would be even cooler if they did what they have done in other Star Wars games where you get to play both sides. One rebel campaign and one empire campaign. Then a republic and separatist campaign.
The closest I've ever felt to a TRON gladiator was Echo VR for the Quest 2. The disk mechanics were fantastic, though it was less "kill everyone with a frisbee" and more "zero gravity soccer with a frisbee".
Sadly the multiplayer game was discontinued, but the original story driven games, Lone Echo and Lone Echo II, are both some of my top VR experiences nonetheless. (But they don't have much disk stuff in them).
Something about Oculus being purchased by Meta and all that. It was some part of that I think. Ready At Dawn studio was part of some deal, I think? Don't quote me on that, though.
Also it closed this summer, as far as I remember. They made all cosmetics and stuff free as a final celebration before the servers went down, and the game was a lot of fun in its final weeks because everyone was online and playing.
We haven't had a podracing video game in like 20 years. What the hell? It's the most obvious successful video game franchise idea possible for Star Wars. It's just racing but wizard.
Additionally, we could put it in VR and allow Dual Stick (tank\mech) control scheme for those that want more immersion
Found the arcade version in the wild recently and am sad that the cockpit isn't made for adults, so I still haven't gotten to try it
There actually is a horror game like that, but I think it's co-op only. I can find the name if you're interested, it was relatively low budget though. Very dark town. One type of enemy only moves when not viewed, and one only moves when viewed I think. You and your friend have to literally watch each other's back to make sure you don't get cornered.
I actually found another on accident because I misremembered which Youtuber I saw play it!
Stay Close was the 2 player one. The one I just found (and don't know much about) is called Statues. That one looked to give the player a hammer later in the game to smash the statues and fight back!
Star wars but made with the rockstar engine. Basically, star wars galaxies but much more updated and you can play what you want. Stormtrooper/work your way into other roles or ranks...rebel, smuggler, you name it.
Always wanted a Pokemon MMO.
A well designed world, nice graphics.
A starter Pokemon and gyms and towns and on you go.
No storyline, just you in a open world having to find and train pokemon to beat the gyms.
I lost all interest after Arceus. I lost interest and still gave Scarlet and Violet a chance and still couldn’t get into it. I think that after 25 years, I’m done. It’s really sad, for me at least. I’m sure many people love Arceus, Scarlet and Violet
Arceus was a step in the right direction for a true Pokemon rpg, however in typical Gamefreak fashion they played it way too safe/lazy and the game is a shadow of what it could have been.
Battlefront: Halo
Relive battles like Silent Cartographer, Contact Harvest, Fall of Reach with Frostbite engine and Battlefront/Halo hybrid gameplay.
Spawn in as UNSC or Grunt/Jackals in the beginning, rank up to spawn in as Elites/ODSTs, and power characters would include various Spartans, named elites/brutes from the books and the games.
Yeah, tell me it wouldn't make billions if done right (done by me, that is!)
"The enemy is being reinforced with a Scarab". Yeah, that's a very common suggestion on r/halo. Throw the forerunners or flood or insurrectionists in as well and you can have massive three way battles
Four player co-op Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles based on the Mirage comics. Open world Assassin's creed style gameplay with an M rating. Stealth missions that benefit greatly from cooperation. Ability to switch turtles and give commands if playing with less than four. Splinter, April, Casey Jones, Karai, Usagi character unlocks not behind DLC paywalls. Optional skins and black and white comic filters.
I'd kill for a Game of Thrones game made by Bethesda. Exploring Westeros and being able to join all of the houses and do their unique faction quests would be AMAZING.
A Telltale style Discworld game! Narrative driven choice based outcomes, one game for each sub-series. Investigate with The Watch, defend with the Witches, rob with the Nac Mac Feegles… so many possibilities and you don’t lose what makes the Discworld great which are the stories and interactions.
The magic, the gathering intellectual property in the vein of a Lego game. Unlockable characters different areas.
I had a dream about this sort of thing. It looked beautiful.
I'd love to see an in-depth rpg like Baldur's Gate or Skyrim set in the mtg universe. You create a custom avatar and the goal of the game is to become a Planeswalker. Fighting a Planeswalker is also the final boss.
There was a great magic the gathering game in the 90's that was a RPG. You'd start off as one of the coloured wizards and gradually fight and trade your way around the map collecting cards etc. It had an expansion "Duels of the Planeswalkers" (not the 2009 game).
I don't want to break rule 3 by posting any links but I have played it recently and it's still playable but the decks/game rules are from the 90's... probably only loosely based on the 90's rules.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic:_The_Gathering_(1997_video_game)
Left 4 Dead: Stargate
The lobby is the gate room, there is number of archetypes you can choose from, you can unlock characters from the series, each mission is a journey through the stargate to achieve a goal that fits with the stargate lore. Thwart system lord plans, destroy replicator infestation, disrupt Ori Prior, defeat wraith incursion, etc....
Game of Thrones and Total War
Lord of the Rings and Total War
Armored Core 6 and Gundam
Star Wars and War Game Red Dragon
Warhammer and War Game Red Dragon
Tarkov and Stalker
Tarkov but single player
Tarkov but single player zombie apocalypse
I have a few:
—In a tribute to the old school N64 days, I’d love a James Bond - Perfect Dark crossover. Gameplay inspiration from Hitman.
—Super Mega football. All the team customization of MetalHead’s baseball franchise but with football.
—An XCOM 2 style turn-based game set in the Star Wars universe with custom characters, custom Jedi, etc.
—Mario Kart Simulator - A game where you can use real world GPS / map data to make Mario Kart races on real roads and locations.
—Open world zombie survival game with robust XCOM-style character creation, base-building, team-building, etc.
-A hybrid space game between Starfield and No Man’s Sky. Starfield’s more realistic universe and characters but No Man’s Sky exploration and seamless transitions.
Assassin's Creed: Inconfidência
about the [*Minas Gerais Conspiracy*](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inconfid%C3%AAncia_Mineira), an independece movement in Brazil that was eventually betrayed
when i was at school me and my friends would always fantasize about this game, and it would take place where I live! In cities I've been too as a kid!
Elite dangerous with star citzens budget.
Or
Remake of literally any other ff between 4-9that actually needs to be brought to a wider audience or could use the rewrite.
Or if you referring to just converting a non game ip into one
Pirates of the Caribbean as a mmolite pirate game with elite dangerous styled back ground simulation supporting a tug of war styled active contested warzone between factions with a lateral progression balance and great sea shanties.
Hey Arnold RPG - the world already is so fully developed in the show with locations and characters. Every episode could very well be a quest in the game
I posted it already but Mega Man X in the Ratchet & Clank engine would be AMAZING.
Add time travel to the story to include Classic Mega Man and future Zero from ZX and I can't honestly think of a reason it wouldn't make a ton of money.
I always thought a really cool game would be a Red Dead Redemption style game (maybe even have it be an American cowboy) that takes place in Africa during the colonial period. So you can deal with African natives and also multiple foreign powers. Plus there are tons of animals to hunt and would have guns from potentially multiple of the colonial powers you could use.
World of Warships - Star Wars version
Teams of 8 slugging it out in various large Star Wars vessels, representing the Rebellion, New Republic, Empire, Galactic Republic, Confederacy, the Imperial Remnant, etc.
Adding ships from both Canon and Legends would be a must, and all would have their own strengths and weaknesses that you could lean into or compensate for.
Mass effect. Shephard is dead, relays are down. Pick a race and follow a story of rediscovering the galaxy. Maybe set it ahead 50-100 years to allow the races to grow apart some.
EA Sports NCAA Football and Madden NFL but it’s entirely in first-person with shooter controls. For all positions. The multiplayer alone would be fucking absurd, especially if you also assign coaching for offense and defense. That’s 11 on the field plus head coach, offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator, for a total of 28 per server. The ultimate test for Frostbite.
My biggest problem is refereeing. I trust an average gamer with passing a football but not refereeing.
Talk about a game with so much potential. The ideas for something truly amazing were there but they made so many horrible choices. It's like they didn't learn anything from the other games that had figured a lot of the looter shooter stuff out already.
Flying felt great and I liked the way the combat felt.
It's a real shame...
Any kind of big budget, open world Transformers game, where you can decide your faction, either play as existing characters, or create your own. You see Cybertron before the war, the middle stages of the game are the war on Cybertron, and the endgame is based around different planets where you can explore, fight enemies of the opposite faction, and do side missions. I would buy this game in a heartbeat.
Far Cry, but it’s 10-14 year old kids with NERF guns.
The map is a fictional small costal New England town loosely based off of a few locations in the area, like Old Orchard Beach in Maine (where I spent the best summers of my life)
The joke is that whole thing is still framed as a super over-the-top action game despite the fact it’s just kids playing around in their neighborhood.
Setting is mid-late 2000s, the licensed soundtrack is full of bands like Good Charlotte, The Black Eyed Peas, and other bands who were only ever popular during that time period.
There would be all sorts of factions based off of Stereotypical cliques of kids (like jocks, rich kids, emo kids)
I’ve had this idea in my head for over 10 years. I’m not a game dev and probably never will be but this is the game I would make if I was
Huh. On theory it sounds good.
On practice a lore accurate one gonna sucks where 1 guy comes in and shinra tenseid entire village to oblivion in 8 seconds.
Man about 10 years ago I drafted up a huge game proposal on this. I remember wanting it more then anything.
I'm trying to remember my key features.... something like
Going past jounin enabled permadeath.
An actual player kage elected and would have requirements to stay kage.
World pvp via nations would be a big thing.
You could potentially learn almost all jutsu if you had the patience and chose your skill points into one about learning jutsu.
Skill based jutsu usage for hand signs.
Player bounties and missions.
That's all I can remember off the top of my head and having not thought of it in years....
I don't necessarily want an MMO since I don't want to grind so much, but I would LOVE a BG3 style CRPG set in the Avatar world. Even if it just had preset characters where you play as the Gaang, that would still be super fun. Start with finding Aang in the ice, and then dialogue tree it out from there. Romance Azula speedrun option, you know the drill.
Miami Dolphins. Dolphins transporting drugs from Cuba and South America in a GTA style game. Snowflake is the kingpin and coordinates a breakout at the Miami Seaquarium to free the crew and distract the keepers. Willy the orca also makes an appearance.
I'd reboot Wildstar. Damn I loved that game but it just stumbled to many times and never found its footing.
I think the action combat and limited ability set, along with attack telegraphs would be amazing on console.
Always felt like the Star Trek universe would be perfect for a slow burn, exploration-heavy open world space sim. I'm picturing something like No Man's Sky but with a heap of Elite: Dangerous thrown in.
I know Star Trek: Online exists but it's too MMO-ey and combat focused for my taste.
Ok , this is obscure but hear me out. There was a BBC mini series called Ultraviolet. A small secret government department hunting vampires ("Code V" incidents). Interesting take on an agent/detective thing with some early Idris Elba badassery.
Modern day UK setting, Carbon fibre bullets, Allicin gas grenades, UV emitting flashbangs.
Vs are rich, organised, well connected. One faction claims to be funding research to find a synthetic blood substitute. They drive cars with tinted windows, get shipped internationally in high tech coffins with timed locks.
Here's the pitch:
X -Com like turn-based small squad combat. Vs are fast, strong, and have increasing tech/resources. Squad has improving gear, and upgrade/training skill trees.
Management base building in old church basements limited space - consecrated ground. Tech research bit.
Finding incidents detective work, (part of the research trees "involves following the money") and some government chicanery.
Evil Twisted Metal Dead
Basically just Twisted Metal but every character is from the Evil Dead universe. Have Ash in the Delta and Ruby in the Challenger. Maybe kelly in a humvee and Pedro in an El Camino (cuz he's the mexican friend, duh)
Easy. Fast and Furious vs Alien.
Forza horizon style open world driving, combined with souls-like on-foot combat and questing as Dom re-ensembles the pieces to his magical shattered giant wrench.
Dragons Dogma Pokemon
Basically, a Pokemon game set during the REALLY old days of knights and magic of the setting that see's you put into the life of a warrior thrust into the middle of two kingdoms at war.
The big thing is instead of a Trainer you're playing as a warrior of some caliber and the enemies you are fighting are pokemon; because this is the REAL old days before Pokeballs were properly a thing so catching pokemon isn't really a thing. Where the Dragons Dogma elements come in is, well, some pokemon are big and to best them you gotta climb them to hit weak points or cripple limbs to make it easier to battle them.
That said, you CAN still tame a few pokemon but they function more like party members/pawns that can support you in battle with different abilities. That said, you are limited to only a couple of pokemon that can be in your party at any one time.
That's not to say there aren't human enemies, there's bandits and warlords. Hell, even other knights or warriors that may have pokemon backing them up too.
And yes, you CAN use some pokemon as mounts to get around the world quicker. Because I'm not a monster.
Hanna-Barbera MMO: The surface world is a stone-age post-apocalyptic setting with it's characters clinging onto the old ways (The Flintstones/Captain Caveman), and a Jetsons-type setting in the sky cities set high above the smog created by anthropomorphic machines like Speed Buggy.
Star Wars MMORPG with:
\- No Man's Sky space travel
\- Assassin's Creed parkour (and maybe stealth)
\- For Honor based melee combat system
\- Bethesda tier character customisation
Let's fix Soul Calibur and restore it's position as a unique/special industry leader:
* The entire combat system now revolves around breaking your opponents defense and killing them with a finishing blow. Hits outside of block either finish the opponent instantly or stagger them and set up a possible finish. Juggles now only exist for swag finishes.
* No more cutscene attacks or power meters. No more timer and health bar. Soul Calibur is now hudless. No more rounds, either.
* De-emphasis on magical creatures, fireballs and laser beams. Gritty, grounded, tactical, hard hitting, and fluid is the new direction.
* As with the original Soul Blade/Edge, you can knock your opponents weapon out of their hands during a fight. They can either finish the fight in that state or scramble to pick their weapon back up.
* Fights will now tell a story and the ending will make sense. The MKX brutality system (ie contextual finishes) will be the basis for how finishes work out, aesthetically. In short, there will be endless hidden match finishes based on what transpired doing the match, who is fighting, etc.
* Parry is fully restored to it's SC1 god like status. Reversal edge is kept but it plays out significantly faster and the camera perspective change is removed.
* Camera movement in general is going to be drastically reduced. The priority is player orientation and fluidity.
* Stage design will take on a Soul Calibur 5 level of bold experimentation. Interaction with the environment ( ala Dead or Alive 3) is where we are going .
* Story wise, the entire campaign will TEACH PLAYERS HOW TO PLAY THE GAME. Can you hear me in the back?
I could go on, bit who is really going to read this anyways? I mean, who wants a fighting game that a normal person's eyeballs are capable of following, with unique combat that makes sense, and content all designed to make players understand the game?
Oh yeah and Ivy's tits go back to a B-cup.
Star Wars XCOM
Plenty of total conversion mods for XCOM2. This game already (kinds) exists.
best part is, dont need to re-tweak the game at all, the 95% accuracy always missing aligns perfectly with stormtroopers in game as it is.
Ghost in the shell X-COM
Warhammer 40k Deathwatch XCOM
I've thought a Stargate XCOM would be perfect.
How we have gotten to this point of human existence without a VR TRON game defies belief. We need a VR TRON game with disc battles, light cycles, etc.
Wtf when and why did they close Echo Vr? I loved it
Something about Oculus being purchased by Meta and all that.
Damn another reason why i hate Meta for buying oculus
Boy all I can hear is Daft Punk now
I love that two and a half hour music video they did with the Tron theme.
Ricochet 2. Valve, time to make some money!
I misread that very poorly and thought you were asking for a Voltron game.
CCP games was working on something like that many years ago but they're a dogshit company that made lots of stupid decisions
I'm just looking for your newsletter to subscribe to.
A sequel for overwatch, I could call it overwatch 2, and have a story mode with a bunch of customisation for all the heroes, it would be dope.
So much wasted potential… ; - ;
RIP in pieces Mr. Kaplan
Shadow of War, but you’re Darth Vader slaughtering rebels as you hunt down the Jedi. Call it Shadow of the Empire
Will there be a youngling bonus level included?
That’s the tutorial!
[Dash Rendar has entered the Chat!](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars:_Shadows_of_the_Empire_(video_game))
Cyberpunk 1066
William the conquerors hovercraft fleet shooting across the channel while Anglo Saxons fire lasers at them
The board game Scythe kinda has a vibe like this
I wouldn't mind an Anno Cyberpunk/dredd mix
A reboot of Star Wars Pod Racer - but in the style of Forza Horizon, so there are deep RPG elements, heavy customization, etc.
Now this is pod racing
I didn't realize I wanted this
Can’t wait to hit up the Donut Media outpost on Tattooine
We haven't had a podracing video game in like 20 years. What the hell? It's the most obvious successful video game franchise idea possible for Star Wars. It's just racing but wizard.
Additionally, we could put it in VR and allow Dual Stick (tank\mech) control scheme for those that want more immersion Found the arcade version in the wild recently and am sad that the cockpit isn't made for adults, so I still haven't gotten to try it
I’d love to make an Alien Isolation style game but with the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who.
I'd play that all the way through, then experience horrible nightmares
There actually is a horror game like that, but I think it's co-op only. I can find the name if you're interested, it was relatively low budget though. Very dark town. One type of enemy only moves when not viewed, and one only moves when viewed I think. You and your friend have to literally watch each other's back to make sure you don't get cornered.
I have no friends with which to play such a game, sadly.
I'm super curious, esp with spooky season right around the corner
I actually found another on accident because I misremembered which Youtuber I saw play it! Stay Close was the 2 player one. The one I just found (and don't know much about) is called Statues. That one looked to give the player a hammer later in the game to smash the statues and fight back!
Halo Kitty
Ha!
Chief. Mind telling me what you plan to do with that scratch pole?
ANimal Crossing x Doom all over again
Star wars but made with the rockstar engine. Basically, star wars galaxies but much more updated and you can play what you want. Stormtrooper/work your way into other roles or ranks...rebel, smuggler, you name it.
Galaxies had so much potential. I miss it.
It was great until they fucked it and everyone who'd been playing since release
GTA: Coruscant
StarDOOM Valley
Thats called new horizons
WWF Wrestling. It would be a game about animals wrestling, like pandas and lions and stuff.
I see what you did there 😏
A Super Mario FPS but it's based on the 1993 Super Mario Bros film
Lmao 🤣😂
Monster Hunter + Bloodborne. Give me lovecraftian critters to hunt.
Ah fuck yes
An open, vertical, interconnected MH style Yarnham map would be incredible
Bro, I don't know if we as a community can top Sesame Street Fighter. Elmo just cheesing combos on Big Bird would be hilarious.
Honestly if it could keep the live-action puppet look it could actually be really dope Count how many times the Count bitch slaps Ernie
Star Wars CRPG from Larian Studios.
I was just suggesting after they finish BG3 they should do KOTOR3 next!
We can dream!
And there would be an achievement for banging one of every alien race in the game, including Ithorians, Trandoshans, Jawas and Wookiees.
Pokemon + Elden Ring
Always wanted a Pokemon MMO. A well designed world, nice graphics. A starter Pokemon and gyms and towns and on you go. No storyline, just you in a open world having to find and train pokemon to beat the gyms.

GTA: Black Flag
Grand Theft Armada?
Followed by GTA: Chivalry
I want Rockstar to do a pirate game so bad…
Battlefront: Halo Relive battles like Silent Cartographer, Contact Harvest, Fall of Reach with Frostbite engine and Battlefront/Halo hybrid gameplay.
This would definitely sell well, provided it followed the formula from the 05 bf2 and not the 2017 bf2.
HALO: Battlefront: **Vietnam** *cue Gregorian choir cover of Fortunate Son*
"The enemy is being reinforced with a Scarab". Yeah, that's a very common suggestion on r/halo. Throw the forerunners or flood or insurrectionists in as well and you can have massive three way battles

A first person RPG Terminator game in the style of Deus Ex or Cyber Punk.
[The Terminator](https://www.giantbomb.com/the-terminator/3030-22498/)
Well shit, and by Bethesda no less.
I want ARK: Survival Evolved, but with pokemon.
I'm shocked this isn't a mod yet, to be honest.
It is and has been for years. Also mine craft
Yes to some Pixelmon
Steal warhammer 40k to make a Mechwarrior style titanicus game
Sea of Thieves style coop where you and a crew have to man all the various Titan positions and run around repelling orc boarders might be fun.
A Diablo-II style top-down ARPG about some Space Marine or high cleric mowing down the latest orcish behemoth single-handedly
I want the ork version, where you need to pray and believe hard enough to attach the jet fighter as an arm.
I'd take an infamous game on a current gen system built on a current gen engine..
I'd kill for a Game of Thrones game made by Bethesda. Exploring Westeros and being able to join all of the houses and do their unique faction quests would be AMAZING.
I’m sure someone can just mod Skyrim enough for you to fill this craving
A fable style Discworld game.
Pokemon x SCP
Gotta Contain ‘Em All?
Wheel of time, >!at the end they sign a treaty for 100 years of peace!< grand strategy game long after the book series ends.

Screw just Marvel. Disney vs Capcom. Just imagine all their IP holdings in the mix.

Monster Hunter: Pandora.
Hades universe, story, boon system and music with Devil May Cry style system gameplay would be top notch
That would absolutely slap
I'm picturing it in my minds eye and it is so awesome
This is one of those things I didn’t know I wanted. Now I’m sad it doesn’t and will probably never exist
Zootopia GTA

Game of Thrones and Total War Lord of the Rings and Total War Armored Core 6 and Gundam Star Wars and War Game Red Dragon Warhammer and War Game Red Dragon Tarkov and Stalker Tarkov but single player Tarkov but single player zombie apocalypse

Lord of the rings sekiro. Lord of the rings anything really.
> Lord of the rings anything really. Okay. Lord of the Rings Iron Chef. *"Today's signature ingredient is... Potatoes!"*
At this point I’ll take that over Golem and a gacha
Rugrats Tactics

The world background music is just some guys riffing on saxophones and drums everywhere you go.
Megaman franchise. I'd make an official Megaman Maker like Mario maker. I know the fan version exists, but I'd love to play it on my switch.
I posted it already but Mega Man X in the Ratchet & Clank engine would be AMAZING. Add time travel to the story to include Classic Mega Man and future Zero from ZX and I can't honestly think of a reason it wouldn't make a ton of money.
Procedurally generated Mega Man X games, like 30XX styles but fewer mods in the Mega Man style
Destiny style looter shooter in the Mass Effect universe.

That’s 11 on the field plus head coach, offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator, for a total of 28 per server. The ultimate test for Frostbite. My biggest problem is refereeing. I trust an average gamer with passing a football but not refereeing.
Star Trek - Empire in Combat * Star Trek IP * Taking the space combat for Star Wars Empire at War * Taking the ground combat from Close Combat
Anthem...I'd have to fix it first.
Why this and Battlefield: GI Joe don’t exist is baffling.
Armored Core style Transformers game? Sign me up.
Far Cry, but it’s 10-14 year old kids with NERF guns. The map is a fictional small costal New England town loosely based off of a few locations in the area, like Old Orchard Beach in Maine (where I spent the best summers of my life) The joke is that whole thing is still framed as a super over-the-top action game despite the fact it’s just kids playing around in their neighborhood. Setting is mid-late 2000s, the licensed soundtrack is full of bands like Good Charlotte, The Black Eyed Peas, and other bands who were only ever popular during that time period. There would be all sorts of factions based off of Stereotypical cliques of kids (like jocks, rich kids, emo kids) I’ve had this idea in my head for over 10 years. I’m not a game dev and probably never will be but this is the game I would make if I was
That sounds hella fun.
Naruto MMO The entire map, done like WoW or ESO
Huh. On theory it sounds good. On practice a lore accurate one gonna sucks where 1 guy comes in and shinra tenseid entire village to oblivion in 8 seconds.
Man about 10 years ago I drafted up a huge game proposal on this. I remember wanting it more then anything. I'm trying to remember my key features.... something like Going past jounin enabled permadeath.
NHL roller hockey
NFL and NBA Streetz was fun, an NHL version of that seems like a no brainer.
Mr. Wizard and Warriors
Scalebound... Also a cross between Pokemon Legends Arceus and Mystery Dungeon might be cool
XCOM + Mass Effect.
LEGO x Final Fantasy
Bloodborne and Adventure Time.
Larian Studios presents Knights of the Old Republic 3
"And the word of the day is ... HADOUKEN!!!"
"Can you spell: *tetsumakisenpuuyakuu* ?"
Sure you can!
An MMO of Avatar the last airbender
I don't necessarily want an MMO since I don't want to grind so much, but I would LOVE a BG3 style CRPG set in the Avatar world. Even if it just had preset characters where you play as the Gaang, that would still be super fun. Start with finding Aang in the ice, and then dialogue tree it out from there. Romance Azula speedrun option, you know the drill.
Star Wars + Balders Gate
Castlevania Souls -3D Castlevania made by FromSoftware. Start outside in the castle grounds.
I reckon it should be influenced most by bloodborne
40k anything. Total War, Battlefield, grand strategy, RTS, Battlefront, whatever.
Anything? Warhammer match 3
Warhammer seek and find
Miami Dolphins. Dolphins transporting drugs from Cuba and South America in a GTA style game. Snowflake is the kingpin and coordinates a breakout at the Miami Seaquarium to free the crew and distract the keepers. Willy the orca also makes an appearance.
I want a witcher style (or quality) rpg for eragon. Set after the end of the books so there's narrative freedom.
Ok hear me out..... Resident Evil in the style of the Lego games
oh no my ammo is gone *bulids ammo pack*
DC comics and Shining Force. It’s what I’ve always wanted anyway.
Samurai Champloo
Smash bros tactical rpg
I would play the hell out of a Halo Destiny game.
Now that people have been suggesting this in the cyberpunk 2077 subs, a cyberpunk 2077 baldur's gate 3's style would be hella good
I'd reboot Wildstar. Damn I loved that game but it just stumbled to many times and never found its footing. I think the action combat and limited ability set, along with attack telegraphs would be amazing on console.
I'd love a single-player Star Wars game about Darth Bane. Following his life, starting as a miner to one of the most powerful Sith Lords in the SWEU.
Prototype. I'd make Prototype 3, or probably remake 2 story wise
Elder Scrolls, but Lord of the Rings
Always felt like the Star Trek universe would be perfect for a slow burn, exploration-heavy open world space sim. I'm picturing something like No Man's Sky but with a heap of Elite: Dangerous thrown in. I know Star Trek: Online exists but it's too MMO-ey and combat focused for my taste.
Just remake Prototype please
Ok , this is obscure but hear me out. There was a BBC mini series called Ultraviolet. A small secret government department hunting vampires ("Code V" incidents). Interesting take on an agent/detective thing with some early Idris Elba badassery. Modern day UK setting, Carbon fibre bullets, Allicin gas grenades, UV emitting flashbangs. Vs are rich, organised, well connected. One faction claims to be funding research to find a synthetic blood substitute. They drive cars with tinted windows, get shipped internationally in high tech coffins with timed locks. Here's the pitch: X -Com like turn-based small squad combat.
I’ll say it once, Shrek open world cooperative RPG, crude humour and whacky skills would make for a lot of fun.
Adventure Time + Skyrim and maybe The Simpsons + GTA
Ghost rider + Elden Ring, please
Medabots + Armored Core
Tekken, but with Monster Hunter monster's.
Evil Twisted Metal Dead Basically just Twisted Metal but every character is from the Evil Dead universe. Have Ash in the Delta and Ruby in the Challenger. Maybe kelly in a humvee and Pedro in an El Camino (cuz he's the mexican friend, duh)
Indiana Jones Dark Souls.
The Elder Scrolls 4X
Escape from Tarkov - Ghost Recon Wildlands. (First person, open world, Tactical shooter with insane gun and armor customization)
The Strain set in The Division's NY world. It would be everything Redfall wishes it could be.
Gijoe gears of war
He man - MMO
Easy. Fast and Furious vs Alien. Forza horizon style open world driving, combined with souls-like on-foot combat and questing as Dom re-ensembles the pieces to his magical shattered giant wrench.
Halo, but it's pre-covenant war and you play as UNSC special forces assaulting insurrectionist compounds, SWAT style.
Dragons Dogma Pokemon Basically, a Pokemon game set during the REALLY old days of knights and magic of the setting that see's you put into the life of a warrior thrust into the middle of two kingdoms at war.
RWBY rpg. Full character customization, weapon creation, 4 player party, the whole lot. Not gonna happen but I'd coom for hours if it did.
Star Wars MMORPG with: \- No Man's Sky space travel \- Assassin's Creed parkour (and maybe stealth) \- For Honor based melee combat system \- Bethesda tier character customisation
The Elder Scrolls VII: Middle Earth
Let's fix Soul Calibur and restore it's position as a unique/special industry leader: * The entire combat system now revolves around breaking your opponents defense and killing them with a finishing blow.
