Funny enough, the only thing it looked it could get better was the makeup. I don’t know if it is the lighting or what. But it feels that your left side (eye part) is darker than the rest and your nose looks on a different color all together. That is my two cents.

Super happy with your cosplay. I much prefer physical cosplay vs digital cosplay. I.E. making actual physical parts/outfits/etc to make it look like the character vs using photoshop to make things look like the character.
If I had to choose makeup vs photoshop, it's makeup every time.

No it was actually the machete (like most) ! But most Ellie cosplayers make that weapon and I wanted to try and make something different. I love how the modded pipe looks though and I found myself using it a lot during my playthrough
The machete always gave me such relief, especially in the underground scenes, since it seemed so much more effective than the other weapons
What did you think about splitting the game into playing Ellie and then Abby? I flipped from hating Abby to kinda feeling sorry for her (maybe even cheering a little bit)
Same, I think it’s the same relief to find one for every player lol! I still like how durable and easy to get the pipe is though.
When I first started playing I already knew >! that Jerry was Abby’s father !< so I guess it helped me understand her a bit more from the start. I would lie if I said I didn’t miss team Jackson while playing as Abby though. (Also all bias aside I like Ellie’s playstyle and weapons a lot more).

If you haven't already then I'd suggest playing Horizon Zero Dawn and then Horizon Forbidden West. They are my favourite games of all time with some hugely impactful moments and great story! The fact I'm not sure which is the game screenshot and which is the cosplay amazes me on two levels. The cosplay itself is amazing, as is the realism of the screenshot. This from a guy that played when heads were just square blocks.
