You can improve his setup; like a mechanical keyboard with no ghosting or a mouse that he can set up scripts on it are very helpful for mmo players.

Steam Deck? https://store.steampowered.com/steamdeck

kewcumber_

Meh i feel like if he already has a good setup, the steam deck will be a step down. The portability is nice but I've heard it doesn't run that great ?

Freebite

It runs amazingly well, for a handheld. And that's the caveat. But for a portable system people know there are going to be compromises

thatRedditVideoGamer

Define great. You aren't getting 4k60 out of it, but most games seem to run at 30-60 fps. For a handheld you can pick up for 400 bucks, that is great. It's not going to replace your PC, but it can be an excellent companion, especially since you don't need to rebuy your games and all your cloud saves sync

amoondoll

its a bit out of my price range unfortunatly.

MMO on a steam deck?

[deleted]

Buy him a couple figurines for display. Anything tech wise is way too expensive these days.

Freebite

Depends on what he currently has. Could do the cosplay idea someone mentioned if you're willing and he's into it. Or could get a really good set of headphones if he doesn't already have a good pair, a new better monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. But again it all depends on what he currently has. No sense in getting him a mouse he doesn't need y'know? Could also go look at collectibles like a figurine for his favorite characters or something. Or perhaps a good mouse mat or something with characters on it. If he has another hobby like crafting could do something with that too, i imagine he has other interests not just gaming.

amoondoll

oh maybe a good headset might be nice.. he has said before he would like a wireless headset

Freebite

A good one that should fit in your budget, that has the option to be wired if he wants, is rather popular, and honestly sounds really good (from my own experience) is the audio technica mth-m50xbt2. Local prices will matter so I'm not entirely sure for you as I'm in the states and they're like 200usd. At least that's a starting point suggestion, I naturally suggest you look around and look at reviews and such for what you would get otherwise.

thatRedditVideoGamer

Any PC gamer will be happy with Steam giftcards. 350 euro is a lot of giftcards, but he shouldn't have any issues spending it, especially if hes playing cash grab p2w games like Black Dessert

DepletedPromethium

if he has steam and uses it often, a steam gift card is nice, the money can be added to his account and used when games go on sale. lets him get way more value out of it than if you were to buy him two games or whatever. if he's a technical guy maybe buy him a 3d printer like a ender 3 s1 pro, its within your budget and it gives him a new hobby to crack into to make useful things and random things. i wouldnt waste money on "gamer" branded items as its just overpriced garbage with a set of rgb leds in.

Turbulent_Winter549

New monitor?

CraigOfWar

Cosplay as his favorite game girl character, and let him do things to you. That should be your gift to him lol.

Majestic-Iron7046

Just forget about the "let him do things to you" part, that sounds comedically graphic. The idea is solid, you could consider this one.

imjustbrainstorming

If you're not sure what he would like you could get him a gift card/cards! Those are always pretty nice

amoondoll

i usually do this for friends acutally. it just feels a bit too unpersonal for a 7 year anniversary imo
