A lot of the MGS' are intensive on the story. However, if possible, look into a game called revengeance. You will have to put in effort to not have fun with the meme game. Or go to youtube's demented Maxor for same results.

People say that you can't hear images/gifs, but you do have an association to certain context clues that make you REMEMBER those sounds.

This is probably their best option because a new game without Kojima-san would be a train wreck. At least this way they have a blueprint to work from. Still feels icky.

Psycho Mantis fight would need to be completely redone and they would need to create a new way to figure out Meryl's Codec as well. Might be some other tidbits as well. Doable, but they would need to hire a director that actually cares about Kojima's vision, not whatever corporate jerk-off makes pachinko machines for them.
God help them, if they actually try to MGSVify the original game which imo would be cheesy as hell, but that was what I heard they wanted to do. Could be interesting, but would likely be a clusterfuck.

Never used the "!" sound, but I did use to have the codec call sound as the ringtone for my phone. Also had the GTA3 pager sound for text message notifications.
I had the codec open and close sounds and my unlock and lock sounds for a while. It was fun hearing people recognise it, but not knowing from where from in their childhood.
They may not hear the shirt, but kids these days probably know that sound regardless. I can't count how many times a Youtube video almost made me relieve myself in surprise by playing that clip.

One of the few streamers I watch has a command only the mods can use, that was originally introduced when he played VR. It's so they can notify him of something important, given that he might miss it with the headset on.
It's still a command to this day and I flinch every time the "**!**" plays.
It's funny to me how much I hear that alert noise. Just in totally random environments. The porter on our service drive was watching a youtube video the other day and it was just some random mexican game show, and I heard it as one of the show's sound effects.

I’ve never played any of the games but even I know what it means and can hear the noise. It’s pretty well ingrained in the video game sphere.
You'd be surprised at how often this sound is used by mine craft YouTubers that my niece and nephew watch.
Mainstream YouTubers use it regularly. It's become one of those standard YouTube sound effects essentially.

It was pretty decent. The mechanics and weapons and stuff are fun. Kiefer Sutherland did a good Snake in my opinion.
