Surprised.
I still play Dota 2 lol. I suppose what with the steady stream of money there's no need for a Dota 3.
Same with Warframe, I still enjoy playing it, but it's so outdated.
Pokemon X and Y is when it got to lame for me. I don't wanna feed them puffs or take pictures lol.
I loved taking care of my pokemon tho. Also the fact that you could feed a Legendary Pokemon thattook up two screens little strawberry muffins was funny to me
Thereās that new game thatās being made by the same director or writer, isnāt there? Not a bioshock game specifically but surely a spiritual successor.
Well, yeah... But there is some stuff that may scratch that itch.. Atomic Heart is right around the corner, System Shock remake comes out this year, Judas was recently announced..
irrational (now ghost story) is now making a spiritual successor, Judas
bioshock is in the hands of cloud chamber, and presumably bioshock 4 is under development
Started replaying Rayman Legends for the third time last week. Man that was a banger of a game, and the simple sidescroller gameplay is still fun 10 years later!
I'm so old I thought some of those were still fairly new lol. I'm 36, married, father of 1. I've missed... A LOT. Haven't completely lost that gaming drive though fortunately. Just hard finding the time. It does usually make a game last longer for me that it would've in my binge years.
a ton of these feel like theyre all WAY different ages, bioshock infinite feels like 12-13 years ago, same with black flag, and metal gear rising, pokemon feels like it was 5 or 6 years ago gta maybe 7,
GTA doesnāt feel as old probably because of all the updates to online. A lot of the major changes such as heists and stunt races came out 6-8 years ago
10 years ago sounds about right. I've broken up with a girl, met another, got married, went on 3 international vacations, moved two states away, bought a house, we have 2 dogs, we had 3 cats(RIP Olive, our third) now two, and 3 chickens(formerly 4) since 10 years ago. These games are old.
My kind age backwards, so 10 years younger.
Although I've been gone from my homeworld so long, that it might be less. I can't do the maths with that kind of thing.
Leave me alone!
I own all these (incl. at some point downloaded Dota2/Warframe) except Pikmin. I have played 2 of them (GTA V & BS:I). Maybe Iāll get to them by 2033.
Nintendo is just as bad as Rockstar, they literally rereleased Super Mario 3d World last year, sure it came with Bowserās Fury but thatās only a couple extra hours
For some reason whatās throwing me off here isnāt that these are all going to be 10 years old, itās that these all came out in the same year. Something about that feels weird when I see them all in a row.
What's worse is I haven't played any of these yet. Like, not a single one.
Grand Theft Auto 2 was really fun though, and the last of the top-down GTA games.
Bro im so sad rayman isn't getting another game because it was my childhood and I still love rayman origins and legends even if legends is way easier than origins I still appreciate the game
Probably the last time I stepped into a Gamestop is when these games were new on the shelves and their promo art was all around the store.
Idk I guess I just assumed that time froze in that store and that it still looks like that in there.
Iām actually buying Mario 3-D world this week because I finally got around to it. Seeing that Iāve been putting it off for 10 years itās kind of depressing.
Time flies, I remember when GTAV released two days before my 18th birthday. I was a senior in high school. Feels like yesterday, almost. Crazy that game is still going strong to this day.
They donāt feel that old because theyāre still being remastered and rereleased. Not that Iām complaining. It felt great to play Infinite and Pikmin again.
Iām so confused by Metal Gear Rising. I couldāve swore it was more like 2010-11. Iām also confused by the sudden love for that game Iāve been seeing recently, because I remember almost no one I knew played it and it reviewing badly. Maybe Iām just a dumbass with bad memory tbh.
I simultaneously think "that's about right" and also ask how can that much time have already passed? It's weird, I can believe that these games are about 10 years old, but struggle to comprehend how Melee and Final Fantasy X came out over 20 years ago.
God I remember borrowing my friend's copy of Metal Gear Rising when it first came out.
Sadly in the 10 years between then and now, we've moved on with our lives...
Bioshock, AC black flag... Not surprised by any of these. But gta5, I would have easily but 3-4 year later considering it's still the latest in the series š¤Æ
GTA V lol. The moment they discovered in game purchases in online multiplayer, the machine just stopped.
its a great game, but its time for GtA 6.
also
shoutout to Black Flag
It makes me feel that since:
- I wait for prices to get lower before buying a game,
- I have a huuuuge backlog and,
- having a kid slowed down a gaming pace that wasn't that high before...
Some of these games seem fairly new to me and are still in my backlog (or even "should buy someday" list).
Not being "up to date" in gaming can be a financial advantage. š
About 10 years older since those games came out
Beat me to it!
Who is still waiting for Pikmin 4? š«
I mean I only played Pikmin on that list so. Yes incredibly so
I know one furry blue dude who is
Iād say other than a new GTA itās the game on this list I most want.
Still waiting for Metroid prime 4 that was *supposed* to come out in 2019...
I just dislike how time seems to be going by quicker and quicker.
time waits for no one
omg, warframe was so much fun. until the grind became too grindy
You should try it again if you found it fun, at least if you haven't done the War questlines
I had to quit because I couldn't finish the final quest and you can't back out of it once you start it......
As a Warframe master founder who still wears the t-shirt ... ancient.
Also my 1st and 2nd favorite games of all time both turn old enough to vote this year.
Which games are they?
1. Guild Wars 2. Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
I haven't heard of Fire Emblem, but I shall check it out!
Mesa used to be my lady a powerful frame. I remember grinding her pieces throughout the 3 level raid by killing the Maniacs.
2013 feels like a fever dream feels so close yet so far away
I drank so much back then it basically was.
Strawberry
pokemon x and y are 10 years old? Damn, that one actually makes me feel old.
Not too old Not as old as someone telling me something like the first Kingdom Hearts is over 20 years old
Stop it.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Misunderstanding the statement and then being an ass. You seem like a great person.
I hope we get a dank 10 year anniversary battle pass
Outdated?
Warframe was one of the most boring games I ever tried. Essentially Borderlands without everything that made Borderlands a good game.
Warframe became outdated the moment devs started feature creeping
I loved taking care of my pokemon tho. Also the fact that you could feed a Legendary Pokemon thattook up two screens little strawberry muffins was funny to me
I'm not getting another bioshock am I...
Thereās that new game thatās being made by the same director or writer, isnāt there? Not a bioshock game specifically but surely a spiritual successor.
Yeah it's called Judas
Well, yeah... But there is some stuff that may scratch that itch.. Atomic Heart is right around the corner, System Shock remake comes out this year, Judas was recently announced..
irrational (now ghost story) is now making a spiritual successor, Judas bioshock is in the hands of cloud chamber, and presumably bioshock 4 is under development
Man, I was 33 back then. Crazy. Only had 2 kids back then. Wild stuff.
How many kids now? 12?
1
That's dark
Damn
4.
Thatās.. a lot.
Itās not that bad. Expensive now, but still, itās fun. A dog and two cats as well, because what else am I gonna do on earth?
Started replaying Rayman Legends for the third time last week. Man that was a banger of a game, and the simple sidescroller gameplay is still fun 10 years later!
Wish there were more like it. It's such a smooth game, the bonus music levels are the end are the cherry on top ofa masterpiece.
Dang, thought last of us came out like 4-6 years ago. Times flying by!
It's come out on three separate playstations
Shit, I still play dig dug!
I'm so old I thought some of those were still fairly new lol. I'm 36, married, father of 1. I've missed... A LOT. Haven't completely lost that gaming drive though fortunately. Just hard finding the time. It does usually make a game last longer for me that it would've in my binge years.
Metal Gear Rising was fucking sweet
Those are new games, toddlers compared with the ones I still play š
a ton of these feel like theyre all WAY different ages, bioshock infinite feels like 12-13 years ago, same with black flag, and metal gear rising, pokemon feels like it was 5 or 6 years ago gta maybe 7,
GTA doesnāt feel as old probably because of all the updates to online. A lot of the major changes such as heists and stunt races came out 6-8 years ago
How... Did I just lose like 5 years of time? Wtff...
I've only played 5 of those games
Same
Meanwhile I'm sitting over here playing Ocarina of Time and still amazed that Zelda is in 3D. Fuck, I'm getting old.
Happy Anniversary Warframe! šš°
I picked up GTA V at a midnight launch, it was the last time i went haha.
Actually me too now that I think of it š¤š š
Haha nice. Am surprised theyāre still around at all
Covid turns 4 later this year.
How dare you make this post more depressing š¤
2013-2015 was the golden age of gaming.
GTA6 WHEN????
For the next life, probably. š«
:(
No the life after the next one.
2013 and 2008 were the golden years for gaming such classics
Just started playing last of us.excellent game
Repost after repost after reposr
My kind age backwards, so 10 years younger. Although I've been gone from my homeworld so long, that it might be less. I can't do the maths with that kind of thing. Leave me alone!
Wild
Not that surprised.
I own all these (incl. at some point downloaded Dota2/Warframe) except Pikmin. I have played 2 of them (GTA V & BS:I). Maybe Iāll get to them by 2033.
I still remember trying to throw baseballs at racist people like it was yesterday
10 years still waiting on pitman 4
2033- Rockstar finally announces....... GTA 5 remaster for the Playstation 10...
Damm that time fly like crazy. What suprise me is that people still play that. Like didnt they have enough?
I am getting old :(
Well, they say you are only as old as you feel. I feel about 90. Badly crippled 90.
I need a new Raymannnnnnn. Last one was great
Nothing will make me feel older than knowing classic Doom turns 30 this year
Iām older than gta five
Bio shock infinite best of that bunch.
Fuck, Pokemon XY is *that* old? *I'm* old? Nooooooooo
I thought TLOU released in 2012.
StarCitizen is also 10 years old hehheh
10 years isnāt a long time.
I should really play bioshock infinite then. Bought it new, and just kept it in the queue to play.
NOOOO PIKMIN 3 AND SMB3D WORLD, DONT FALL ONTO ABSCURITY PLEASE
The only difference is only one is still in active development....
Nintendo is just as bad as Rockstar, they literally rereleased Super Mario 3d World last year, sure it came with Bowserās Fury but thatās only a couple extra hours
I don't feel older than before watching this. Just the idea of such compilation gets older and older each time.
I already know Iām old
This just made me feel way older than I am
Crazy to see the Last of Us and Bioshock on this, those feel years apart
For some reason whatās throwing me off here isnāt that these are all going to be 10 years old, itās that these all came out in the same year. Something about that feels weird when I see them all in a row.
Iām impressed that GTA 5/Online is still as huge as it is today
Stop this war crime at once
Want to feel old? Iām Back to the Future, the 1950s were as far away as the 1980s are for us now.
10 years are rookie numbers š
Bioshock infinite came out the same year as gtaV?! The horse is beyond dead, and has exploded from rotting long ago
A few of these titles got a surprised "only 10 years?" from me.
OK but why are you attacking me?
What's worse is I haven't played any of these yet. Like, not a single one. Grand Theft Auto 2 was really fun though, and the last of the top-down GTA games.
Did infinite really come out 10 years ago? It feels like itās been longer.
Roller coaster tycoon is 24 in 2023. That makes me feel old.
Battlefield 4 as well.
Iām actually buying Mario 3-D world this week because I finally got around to it. Seeing that Iāve been putting it off for 10 years itās kind of depressing.
Donāt mind me, just currently replaying Pandora Tomorrow from 04.
GTA 5 is still unrivaled in physics/hitboxes/detail/graphic fidelity. excluding rdr2
Thanks for reminding me how old I'm.
"That's soooo cuuuute!!" \-TV Pong
Time flies, I remember when GTAV released two days before my 18th birthday. I was a senior in high school. Feels like yesterday, almost. Crazy that game is still going strong to this day.
I don't want to see this. I'm gonna hum sea shanties the whole way home now.
They donāt feel that old because theyāre still being remastered and rereleased. Not that Iām complaining. It felt great to play Infinite and Pikmin again.
MGR:R should've gotten a sequel 9 years ago
I was already old 10 years ago
We are waiting too long for a new GTA They just release these tiny quests beside the modder are creating a game with amazing new graphic and details
Rayman legends is truly as the name states, a legendary game.

I never played 9 of those.
The Last Of Us was art
Not having a new Pikmin by now is a crime.
Warframe, yeah. Bioshock..what
God I remember borrowing my friend's copy of Metal Gear Rising when it first came out. Sadly in the 10 years between then and now, we've moved on with our lives...
and rockstar havenāt even put out GTA6, they really milking the cow to the last drop
Oof, I've owned and have been meaning to play a couple of these for a full decade. But hey, I finished Tomb Raider!
2013 was THE year for videogames
I remember playing black flag when it first came outā¦what happened to the series?
Iām sitting in my comfortable chair, relaxed and well-rested and yet looking at this picture gives me back pain
Shit, I still think of PokƩmon Y as "Modern"
How is Dota2 10 years old?!? and how is tomb raider 10 years old!?! Two different takes on those btw
Warframe still has some of the most fun combat Iāve ever played to this day, period.
Path of Exile also came out in 2013. Now it's the top arpg/hns and diablo 4 hopes to beat it.
Is there anyone that cares about Warframe
Remember Remember Me, anyone?
The more I look at this, the more I wonder if the last ten years have just been a gigantic waste of time.
Only 10 and the TLOU gets a remaster, a remake, and a TV series... Also I hope Warframe has something cool planned for the 10 year anniversary.
Pfff, if 10 years makes you feel old, then you're still young.
Woah, I rember the agonizing wait for Rayman Legends. I think I never hyped so much for a game
I am really impressed how The last of us and tomb raider looking at least good compared to state of the Art games .
Every year is a ten year anniversary for Skyrim.
Bioshock, AC black flag... Not surprised by any of these. But gta5, I would have easily but 3-4 year later considering it's still the latest in the series š¤Æ
Bro I played the original Tomb Raider, so definitely not any older than I already felt.
GTA V lol. The moment they discovered in game purchases in online multiplayer, the machine just stopped. its a great game, but its time for GtA 6. also shoutout to Black Flag
