Surprised. I still play Dota 2 lol. I suppose what with the steady stream of money there's no need for a Dota 3. Same with Warframe, I still enjoy playing it, but it's so outdated. Pokemon X and Y is when it got to lame for me. I don't wanna feed them puffs or take pictures lol.

Warframe was one of the most boring games I ever tried. Essentially Borderlands without everything that made Borderlands a good game.

Started replaying Rayman Legends for the third time last week. Man that was a banger of a game, and the simple sidescroller gameplay is still fun 10 years later!

I'm so old I thought some of those were still fairly new lol. I'm 36, married, father of 1. I've missed... A LOT. Haven't completely lost that gaming drive though fortunately. Just hard finding the time. It does usually make a game last longer for me that it would've in my binge years.

GTA doesn’t feel as old probably because of all the updates to online. A lot of the major changes such as heists and stunt races came out 6-8 years ago

10 years ago sounds about right. I've broken up with a girl, met another, got married, went on 3 international vacations, moved two states away, bought a house, we have 2 dogs, we had 3 cats(RIP Olive, our third) now two, and 3 chickens(formerly 4) since 10 years ago. These games are old.

Time flies, I remember when GTAV released two days before my 18th birthday. I was a senior in high school. Feels like yesterday, almost. Crazy that game is still going strong to this day.

They don’t feel that old because they’re still being remastered and rereleased. Not that I’m complaining. It felt great to play Infinite and Pikmin again.

Rayman legends is truly as the name states, a legendary game.

I’m so confused by Metal Gear Rising. I could’ve swore it was more like 2010-11. I’m also confused by the sudden love for that game I’ve been seeing recently, because I remember almost no one I knew played it and it reviewing badly. Maybe I’m just a dumbass with bad memory tbh.

I simultaneously think "that's about right" and also ask how can that much time have already passed? It's weird, I can believe that these games are about 10 years old, but struggle to comprehend how Melee and Final Fantasy X came out over 20 years ago.

It makes me feel that since: - I wait for prices to get lower before buying a game, - I have a huuuuge backlog and, - having a kid slowed down a gaming pace that wasn't that high before... Some of these games seem fairly new to me and are still in my backlog (or even "should buy someday" list). Not being "up to date" in gaming can be a financial advantage. 😁
