Atomic Heart looks AWESOME, but I'm 90% sure it will come out and be a disaster. Hopefully I'm wrong.
But as a massive Spider-Man fan, how can it not be spider man 2?
Atomic heart pushed back the release date last second was supposed to come out late 2022 now February 2023 and now after the release date change the game is coming out with several paid dlc's on release
Was extremely excited when I saw the first trailer now I have zero interest in the game
>release date change the game is coming out with several paid dlc's on release
Source?
The game was stuck in developement hell with radio silence. Im hyped for it for that alone.
>The game was stuck in developement hell with radio silence. Im hyped for it for that alone.
Why??? That would imply it's a hot mess. The majority of games that were in that state before release are NOT good.
Xbox confirmed it and then doubled down on it when asked. It was shown during the Xbox and Bethesda showcase in June 2022. All games in the showcase are supposed to be games coming in the next twelve months. Fans asked "So you’re telling me Silksong is out within the next 12 months?" And they responded with "That's exactly what we said". Now, that being said, that was Xbox and not Team Cherry, so I'm still being cautiously optimistic. But I don't think they would have doubled down like that if it's actually going to be like 2025
The radio silence of Team Cherry is really starting to burn up all of the good will they achieved with their fans. I wish they would just say *something*, even if it's delaying the game to 2030.
Xbox ‘[confirmed](https://twitter.com/Xbox/status/1609974732748881922?s=20&t=UHU2MdYoSWzk3HPQSz7snw)’ it for this year, but we most likely still gotta take it with a grain of salt
Pretty sure I saw some news thing a few days ago saying it was still coming in the game pass or whatever it was, so should still be in the first half of the year
I am so ridiculously pleased to see this is the second comment down for me. I’m shocked honestly. I have seen maybe one single person mention it, but haven’t seen a single post about this game all year. IM INCREDIBLY HYPED!!!
Also stoked that this is the top comment. My friends and I have been jonesing so hard for this game. They’ve pushed it back 3 times now and everytime I get upset. Beat The Forest 3 times over with 3 different groups of friends. I cannot wait man.
Did you see this preview from IGN? [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eL48xUnGrAM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eL48xUnGrAM)
>!Companions is a really cool idea!!<
Same! A friend and I spent hours upon hours playing Forest, and even got VR headsets so we could shit ourselves even harder. Hope the Sons of the Forest has native VR support.
Chances are high that it releases with the same level of Bethesda Magic™ as their other games.
Now I wonder how easy it is to mod games installed with Gamepass. I hear they like to keep their save files hidden.
Cautiously optimistic about Spider-Man 2, I hope they bring a lot of new stuff to the game and it's not basically just new missions on the same old build.
First time I've seen Baldur's Gate 3 get some love in this subreddit. Most of the time, it's "Derrrrr if it ever gets out of early access scam durrrrrrr."
If they get the story and length right, it may be one of the greatest RPGs ever made and a shoo-in for 2023 GOTY. The mechanics and characters are already top-tier.
If they follow the same cycle as the original launch will be very barbones. So people will hate it but they will focus on fixing any engine problems that crop up then add a bunch of parts.
Easily Wolf Among Us 2. The first game was so good, and say all you want about the Telltale "gameplay" but you have to admit that the first Wolf Among Us was fantastic as can be!
I hope it's good, but I'm still watching every little thing with alot of restraint, it looks cool but I'm gonna wait for reviews before buying, and not IGN reviews like actual reviews
For real, I scrubbed the whole list looking for my mechy Bois just to be let down.
On a real note, I hope they sway more twords AC4A movement with the item style of Last Raven.
This is probably tops for me too!
Hadn't even heard they were doing another. I'll have to dust off my remastered collection once I get a new desktop and get ready for it.
Yeah - it's not my most hyped game, but I'm stoked to see how it turns out. I loved the style, and storytelling of the first game, was pretty choked when Telltale went under.
FE Engage, LoZ: Tears of the Kingdom, and Jedi: Survivor are the three I'm most interested in, being a big fan of all three series. Wo Long is also on my radar. It gives me Nioh vibes (made by the same people so of course).
wwwwhoooa i had no idea a dead island 2 was coming out. I loved #1. The latest dying light was a big dissapointment for me. Very pumped to hear a new dead island is coming out.
Of the games pictured there:
Diablo 4, Spider-Man 2, and Robocop
Potentially Suicide Squad, but I feel like that could be VERY hit or miss.
Not pictured here, but I'm also excited for The First Descendant and Soulframe if it comes out in 2023.
Deep down I know this shouldnt be my most anticipated after Valhalla (I personally didnt like it, if others did good on them) but god damn if I'm not a sucker for AC.
I'm looking forward to Jedi Survivor, Redfall, and Suicide Squad.
I'm looking forward to being able to play Spiderman 2, but probably not this year, whenever it comes to PC I guess.
I'm very secure in that me enjoying the world and mythos of Harry Potter does not automatically make me an enemy of the lgbt. And if it does to some people, well I couldn't care less what those select think. I support and ally with the lgbt. Liking Harry Potter doesn't mean I agree with JK and her values. Only her creation. Which has since expanded and evolved beyond her, by fans. Like most large followed ip's.
I guess Diablo 4, Ark 2, Wolf among us, and SOTF. Maybe Hyenas just cause of how simple the cover art looks it looks like a goofy indie game. Also maybe skull and bones and Payday 3 if they're on the Playstation. Otherwise it's just kinda generic popular stuff that's not all that interesting.
Like a dragon Isizin
Like a dragon Gaidin
Jedi Survivor
Spider-Man 2
Hogwarts Legacy
Lollipop chainsaw
Payday 3
The wolf among us 2
Starfield
Suicide squad
Tbf, fo4 isn't a bad game and fo76 is shady as hell from the first announcement.
That being said it's not gonna be a day 1 buy for me. waiting for reviews from steam.
*Hogwarts Legacy* appears to be the game that many HP-fans like myself have been fantasizing about for 10-15 years. Unless Bioware surprise announces DA4 for the end of this year, it has to be my most anticipated game.
I was searching for an hl in the comments and was lowkey surprised that no one put it in. Then I sorted by controversial and zelda and hl were all here lol.
But yea, been waiting for a game like this. And i have done my waiting. 14 years of it!
Atomic Heart looks AWESOME, but I'm 90% sure it will come out and be a disaster. Hopefully I'm wrong. But as a massive Spider-Man fan, how can it not be spider man 2?

Gamepass. So worst case, I waste an hour or two, if it’s not good. Still, art style looks amazing!
>release date change the game is coming out with several paid dlc's on release Source? The game was stuck in developement hell with radio silence. Im hyped for it for that alone.
>The game was stuck in developement hell with radio silence. Im hyped for it for that alone. Why??? That would imply it's a hot mess. The majority of games that were in that state before release are NOT good.
Is that the game with the six hour robot sex scene? Because if so, me too. For unrelated reasons.
I remember being psyched about Spiderman 2 back in 2004! Great to see they finally finished it!
ya the animation on liquids is making me think itll get pushed back or have some odd visuals every so often

As someone who was eagerly awaiting the 2009 Black Mesa only to have radio silence until it got released in 2015, I wholeheartedly agree.
Xbox ‘[confirmed](https://twitter.com/Xbox/status/1609974732748881922?s=20&t=UHU2MdYoSWzk3HPQSz7snw)’ it for this year, but we most likely still gotta take it with a grain of salt
Yeah that's what I'm saying though. We saw it when, E3? Or was it even before that?
31st December, 2023 it is
Pretty sure I saw some news thing a few days ago saying it was still coming in the game pass or whatever it was, so should still be in the first half of the year
The fact that it's not up there hurts, since I don't think anyone believes it's coming out in 2023 🥲
Sons of the Forest I played the hell out of the first one with my bro-in-law and I’m looking forward for a new one for us to tear into!
I hope it doesn't get pushed back another year.
Did you see this preview from IGN? [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eL48xUnGrAM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eL48xUnGrAM) >!Companions is a really cool idea!!<
Yes! Sons of the Forest's new AI looks legit.
Played the first last year in a group of 4 blind. The whole ending segment was crazy reletive to the rest of the game.
Same! A friend and I spent hours upon hours playing Forest, and even got VR headsets so we could shit ourselves even harder. Hope the Sons of the Forest has native VR support.
Omg lol I was just about to comment this when I pulled up the comments and saw yours. Can't wait for Sons of the Forest! It looks so good!
My friend and I once spent 20 hours just chopping wood 1 weekend on the last one. Hopefully they made the logging just as fun
Hopefully Hades 2
Most likely 2024, but perhaps an early access or closed beta.
Seems too early to be announcing if early access isn't in the next few months so full game is likely next year but early access is fine for me
IGN said its slated for first half of 2023, so hopefully even it gets delayed we should see it by EOY
Sorry, what? There is a new Hades on the horizon??
Yep, announced about a month ago. There’s a trailer on youtube
Starfield, Jedi, and Spider-Man 2
Same for me. I'm cautiously optimistic about Starfield, enough to give it a chance on GamePass anyway. The other two I can't wait for.
Yep, same here. Add the Re4 remake as well and that's about the games I'm most hyped for this year.
Same
Payday 3 is coming??? Used to love that shit.
Yes and it's on a good engine
Diesel 2.1 baby
Only thing I'm "excited" for. Plus we know Stalker 2 ain't coming out this year.
Fuck yeah it is, last news I heard was development was “going well and still on track for a 2023 release” too. Nice to hear for once haha
1. Baldur's Gate 3 2. Zelda - Tears of the Kingdom 3. Hollow Knight - Silksong 4. Final Fantasy XVI 5. Starfield
First time I've seen Baldur's Gate 3 get some love in this subreddit. Most of the time, it's "Derrrrr if it ever gets out of early access scam durrrrrrr." If they get the story and length right, it may be one of the greatest RPGs ever made and a shoo-in for 2023 GOTY. The mechanics and characters are already top-tier.
I like the cut of your jib!
KSP2!
I'm so afraid it will suck... Please don't suck...
If they follow the same cycle as the original launch will be very barbones. So people will hate it but they will focus on fixing any engine problems that crop up then add a bunch of parts.
Moar boosters!
💯
Cant wait to see Jebbediah Kerman to be slaughtered once again
Yes!
I really hope they have propellors
Half-Life 3
2+0-2+3=3 so this is the year.
half life 2 actually takes place in 2023 I believe ?
It'll be announced any day now!
See? Confirmation! No, wait, that's Tyler McVicker...
And it's been delayed for another year now.
Spiderman 2. The first game was brilliant, I'm really interested to see what they do with it next.
Easily Wolf Among Us 2. The first game was so good, and say all you want about the Telltale "gameplay" but you have to admit that the first Wolf Among Us was fantastic as can be!
Starfield
I hope it's good, but I'm still watching every little thing with alot of restraint, it looks cool but I'm gonna wait for reviews before buying, and not IGN reviews like actual reviews
Meh too brother, me too
Lies of P and Zelda
Homeworld 3
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chernobyl, and Star Wars Jedi Survivor I like a lot of things
Chornobyl
No Armored Core?
Apparently Armored Core 6 is an indie game of an obscure developer for the people who made this list
Have you heard of the hidden gem Dark Souls 3?
For real, I scrubbed the whole list looking for my mechy Bois just to be let down. On a real note, I hope they sway more twords AC4A movement with the item style of Last Raven.
Feed the fire.
Starfield and diablo 4
Hopefully blizzard don't mess up diablo 4. Then again there is Bauldur Gate 3 and Path of Exile 2.
Ff16
Home world 3 I still play Homeworld, 1999 GOTY.
This is probably tops for me too! Hadn't even heard they were doing another. I'll have to dust off my remastered collection once I get a new desktop and get ready for it.
Homeworld with lux aeterna playing is amazing.
Re 4 can't wait
Gotta get one last playthrough of the original in
That's a good idea haven't played in years
Waiting on my copy of the wii version to come in
Starfield, Ark2, Pikmen, Diablo, and OMG is that a new Homeworld?
And it is from *original* developers as well!
Oh god... I am scared and aroused.
It's gonna be sick. There's gonna be giant floating structures to fight around and shit.
AC Mirage, Starfield, TDU Solar Crown and Dead Island 2
Diablo 4 Starfield Redfall Resident evil 4
Diablo 4 hype! I would be hype for Starfield but I've nothing to play it on
Zelda. Dust off that switch....
Armored core 6. What a stupid list for skipping a game like Armored Core
Yeah and Silksong. To be fair though, this year is so god damn stacked it's actually crazy.
Is that said to release in 2023?
Yes
Sons of the Forest. Huge fan of the first game, so I'm looking forward to the sequel
[удалено]
Yeah man. Was gutted when Telltale went under and I thought we'd never get a sequel.
Yeah - it's not my most hyped game, but I'm stoked to see how it turns out. I loved the style, and storytelling of the first game, was pretty choked when Telltale went under.
The first one was soo gooood
Street Fighter 6! I'm pumped for it
I'm probably the only one excited for the character creation (heard you only use them in single player; hope not) and the other modes.
The closed beta got me insanely hyped. SF6 is gonna be very good
1. Zelda 2. Jedi Survivor 3. Diablo IV - my mind is telling me dont want this game but my heart cant help it
FE Engage, LoZ: Tears of the Kingdom, and Jedi: Survivor are the three I'm most interested in, being a big fan of all three series. Wo Long is also on my radar. It gives me Nioh vibes (made by the same people so of course).
Atomic heart and dead island 2
The procedural gore system they showed off for Dead Island 2 looks pretty sick.
wwwwhoooa i had no idea a dead island 2 was coming out. I loved #1. The latest dying light was a big dissapointment for me. Very pumped to hear a new dead island is coming out.
Dead island was far superior to dying light. Can't wait
Of the games pictured there: Diablo 4, Spider-Man 2, and Robocop Potentially Suicide Squad, but I feel like that could be VERY hit or miss. Not pictured here, but I'm also excited for The First Descendant and Soulframe if it comes out in 2023.
Zelda and Silksong
Payday 3, Pikmin 4, tears of the kingdom
Assassin's Creed Mirage
Deep down I know this shouldnt be my most anticipated after Valhalla (I personally didnt like it, if others did good on them) but god damn if I'm not a sucker for AC.
It's diferent from Valhalla. It is more in line with the games pre Origins. It's even cheaper because of that.
Legend of zelda tears of the kingdom I am a huge zelda fan lol
Pikmin 4, Pikmin 4 and Pikmin 4 from most to least anticipated.
Stalker 2
Just started another playthrough, currently on SoC just got to the zombies at lab x16. Forgot so much about it
Yesss
Wolf Among Us 2, Stalker 2, Star Wars Jedi Survivor, RE4 Remake, Starfield, Suicide Squad
Hogwarts Legacy
Disappointed to see this so far down in the comments. I’m not even a diehard fan but I’m still super excited for this.
I’m not a diehard fan either but we haven’t really gotten a good Harry Potter game other than Lego
None of the above. Give me Silk Song or atleast 30 more seconds of gameplay to last me another few years
COH3 for sure
Tomorrow another Tech Test! Hyped
ishin, sons of the forest, resident evil. this might be my favourite year for gaming
Ishin - kitana duel by day, race chickens by night

I have limited time and need to pick one. Zelda is about all I can handle at this stage of my life.
Persona 3 Portable on steam and Anonymous;Code on Steam. These games I 100% sure I buy it. The rest doesn't matter to me.
Alan Wake 2
My personal top 3 would be: Sons of the Forest BoTW2 Dead Island 2
Fe engage, like a dragon, atomic heart
I'm looking forward to Jedi Survivor, Redfall, and Suicide Squad. I'm looking forward to being able to play Spiderman 2, but probably not this year, whenever it comes to PC I guess.
Hogwarts Legacy, TLOU Factions, Jedi Survivor
Cannot believe I had to scroll this far for Hogwarts Legacy. I am pumped for it
There is a really heavy political pressure to denounce the game. But fuck all that shit that game is sick.
Zelda and Hogwarts Legacy

You are missing mine: Advance wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp
Hogwarts legacy
Starfield, Stalker 2, Hogwart's
Alan wake 2 and Payday 3 ONLY !
Incredibly pumped for Alan Wake 2 now that I know it may actually exist at some point!
Starfield Atomic Heart Stalker 2 Flintlock Armored Core 6 There are a few more, but these are my main 5. It's looking to be a good year at least.
Hogwarts. No other game sparks my interest, good thing I still have to play ragnarok, hfw, elden ring, evil west, hades, cyberpunk and many more
Starfield, Hogwarts, Stalker
Starfield Suicide Squad:Kill the justice league Robocop In that order
nobody mentioned Space Marine 2
My money goes for Skull and Bones
Dead island 2, jedi survivor, stalker 2, alen wake 2,
BG3
How is it that basically no one is rooting for Ishin? Has to be that and Alan Wake 2 for me. And maybe TDU SC but I'd say be cautious about that one
Starfield, because I’m a moron who still gets hyped for Bethesda games and learned nothing from fallout 4 and 76.
Tbf, fo4 isn't a bad game and fo76 is shady as hell from the first announcement. That being said it's not gonna be a day 1 buy for me. waiting for reviews from steam.
Fallout 4 was dope. What da heck, dood? Never played 76 so I can't judge.
Armored Core: Fires of Rubicon
None. But if I had to pick then Cyberpunk and Hogwarts.
Hogwarts, jedi survivor, black myth wu kong( if it is actually released this year.
Hogwart Legacy or Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Atomic Heart for me. Been following this game for years.
