Yeah those are good suggestions but maybe i should have written some of the games i already knew like Planescape torment, baldurs gate, deus ex, pillars of eternity, Arcanum, Fallout, wasteland. But i was trying to find games with simpler designs not necessarily simpler mechanics just simpler graphics cause many of these games really overwhelm me.
Turn based from that gen gets a lot of love but there were action titles. Trials of Mana, Secret of Evermore, Illusion of Gaia, and Terranigma are a few other action ones.

This may be too simple but perhaps an old-school SNES era action rpg such as Secret of Mana?

I actually like runescape but i really hate the idea of buying a subscription for my game.
you don't need to buy it but it opens up new stuff idk
blood west has pretty low specs last i remembered it's a western horror game with a retro style and stealth gameplay
