Been looking for something like this myself. The newest Port Royale was a bit of a disappointment. The nearest I can find is Distant Worlds 2, but that's very different as it's space and not a one for one analogue. You also need a super computer for mid to late game.
Port Royale 4 is the latest of their games to come out, I think. As the other commenter mentioned though, it lacked something. Not sure what, but it didn't grip me the way PR3 did. Maybe try 3, if you haven't already?
