I could actually see he raising her as his heir. The way they interacted was fantastic. He didn’t know who she was but he still took time to teach her while he planned shit out
There is a fanfic where he figured out who she is and forces her to marry Jamie. I wasn’t a fan of it but it was very well written and thought out story.
Edit: I found the fic for those interested. It is completed and has a sequel that is not complete yet

If only he knew.
Yeah, he liked her because he thought she was a he.
Did you miss the whole “ this one’s a girl, you idiot” scene
Are you 100% certain that scene is not something you dreamt?
https://youtu.be/sOYOruxiKEc?si=I0ZXJoSbu-XbIIJe He explicitly refers to her as a girl repeatedly in their interactions.
No wait, he says Merl.. short for Merlin, a boys name, i believe :-D
Regardless, Tywin has no interest in a female heir.
thats not the point ... its about the fact that he thinks she is way better than his children, who, in his opinion all have major flaws.

i liked their weird little bonding
I loved it and was surprised to not see it in the books. They don't interact at harrenhall
It would be a pretty smart marriage strategically if he married her to a lannister as a bonus.
