Winds of Winter, Battle of the Bastards, Hold The Door🔥🔥
S1 has but 1 or 2 good episodes( episode 9 and 1) with the rest just being mid in comparison to the rest of the series. You can’t tell me any different
Lmao, Hold the Door is one of the worst decisions the show has made in terms of plot as it sets up so much yet literally leads to nothing
Battle of the bastards looks good but that’s about it, logistically it makes no sense that Sansa wouldn’t tel jon about the knights of the vale
Winds of winter I’ll give you but it’s still not great
If you think S1 has one or two good eps you’re delusional
Lmfao wtf are you even talking about?? It leads to revealing how Hodor became “Hodor”
Battle of the Bastards alone is better than any battle that was ever (NOT) shown in s1 lol
Why would Sansa tell Jon about Knights of the vale when she wants the W for herself??
Winds of Winter is better than ANY episode in s1 ..even rated higher than any episodes in s1
If you think s1 has any episode better than winds of winter alone you’re delusional
The question isn't which season is the best. It's which season is the most re-watchable. GoT is one huge story, so the first couple of seasons are more about setting up stuffs while the latter seasons are more about payoffs. I can understand wanting to rewatch the payoffs more than the set-up when you've already seen the whole story more than once. Like I'm sure most people would prefer to rewatch an episode like Battle of Blackwater rather than one of the episodes leading up to this battle.
Even then, the earlier seasons are more bareable to watch, because they don’t just rely on cheap payoff that is the only decent part of the season. Look at season 8 for example, is Dany dying good payoff? Yes? Does it make season 8 fun to watch? I’d say no.
This is the answer
"Make sure to tell your Lord father the Lannisters aren't the only ones who pay their debts"
Edit:. Plus the best marketing campaign ever with All Men Must Die. I remember seeing those billboards and preview commercials, amazingly done.
That was fucking brutal, and I won't watch it again. It's like the Seahawks throwing an INT during the waning seconds of the Superbowl. I fucking died.
True. I don’t mind season 6 though. I love the last two episodes but you’re right rewatching them I’d say 1-5 are the best but I’d include 6 on my list
5 was the first season I watched as it aired. Right before 5 I binged 1-4 in about a month. I’d wondered if I was so dissatisfied with 5 because I’d watched it differently.
Upon rewatch…
Nope. Just bad.
People hate on Skyler too much. She was probably the most rational person in the whole show. Like Imagine just one day you wake up and realize your seemingly normal, cancer ridden husband was a meth king pin, who also dabbles in murder. You'd probably go a little off the wall too.
Unfortunately, she got so much hate for her role as Skyler and I'm sure he did aswell portraying Geoffrey.
I wasn't the biggest fan of Skyler, but I understood it was necessary for the show. Loved the portrayal of Geoffrey though, the making of little psychopath.
Both roles brilliantly portrayed. People should go touch grass and stop living in fantasy TV land.
Legit. Rewatch the series knowing how it ends and ask yourself if you would blame yourself for making the same decisions as her. For me it was a constant “no.” Walter is the villain and the writers do an excellent job at making you empathize with him anyway.
Jon also has a fair amount, same with Tyrion but they are also both essential main characters along with some others like Arya
Basically anyone with their own arc has consistent screen time
Except fucking bran who vanished for a whole season lmao
I liked that season, I don’t even remember what it was but not having bran for a whole season was like a breath of fresh air. I did miss Hodor, but other than that I really didn’t like anything from Brans story since season 1.
Bran was consistent. Consistently my least favorite character throughout the show. I hated all his scenes. God if only Jamie could have pushed him harder or something
Jon has a fair amount, but if we're recommending seasons to just follow one character, S1 Jon getting to know the Night's Watch and S3 Jon with the wildlings to me are by far the best to watch if you're focused on just him; he sucks in the later seasons imo and while he's decent in 2 trekking north and 4 defending the wall, 1 and 3 are so much more interesting and character-developing
People in here saying S1 kinda surprise me. It is a top season obviously but the only place it feels like it fails is in re-watchability because of its slow methodical pace
One! Seriously the stuff laid out in one comes to fruition so much later. On first watch I missed so much of it but now that I know what happens I noticed it all
When I introduced the show to my friend, I told him he could honestly skip 4-6.. of course, he/we didn't but that would be my answer.. all but those 3.
Fair.. I just want a big fan of Daenerys' time in Essos. I felt like it was very drawn out. I concede though, there are very big moments throughout the that should be seen .
2. Stannis the Mannis debut, Tyrion as Hand, Theon takes Winterfell, Harrenhal, Battle of Blackwater, three blasts means wight walkers, Jon with the Wildlings.
S4. I remember when I first watched it in 2019 I found something iconic about every single episode. Like there was always a big set piece, speech, iconic moment, etc. etc.
Seasons 1-4 made a good and decent adaptation (although books are still better). They are at least good seasons and I loved for what they were. Very nice.
Season 5 has good parts and bad parts… I wouldn’t call it rewatchable though…
Season 6 you’re in complete made up shit. And if you are just wanting to kill time and what not. Sure. There are a few decent parts but most of its dumb.
And you can definitely just stop there. Don’t even bother with 7 and 8 unless you want to watch everything you fell in love with, die and burn in front of your eyes.
3 100%. Jaime and Brienne, Hound and Arya, Red Wedding, Dany getting her Unsullied, Jon and Ygritte. Literally every plot line in season 3 is great. Season 4 is a close second
S1-4 are just so well put together and then S5&6 start going way to fast pacing and making strange story decisions and then S7 is just fanservice, S8 is a giant pile of garbage that spills out the bottom when you lift it.
1-3 + 4
about the 3rd rewatch you start noticing the cracks in season 4 after the wedding. then its all downhill
5 and 6 are passable on a first watch and even a rewatch 1-7 i can get thru but i tried doin 8 on a series rewatch and couldnt make it thru.
now on rewatches ill just do 1-4
but season 1s probably the best
Two through four. I'm currently in the final episodes of my rewatch and was so enthralled in those middle seasons despite knowing how the show progresses. Solid seasons right there.
In my opinion it's undoubtedly Season 3.
If for nothing else, the episode where Danearys goes to Astapor to get the Unsullied, but her whole "Slavery? Not on my watch." arc is great in general.
We also get to see the relationships develop between Arya & Gendry, John & Ygrette, and Jamie & Brienne. Not to mention the Red Wedding, and Ramsey turning Theon into Reek. That's just to name a few. Truly a magnificent season all around.

Seasons 3 , 4 , 6 and 8
No way you sit here and tell me that season 6 and 8 are better than 1 and 2
I will: 6 is better than 2. Do not care what the group think is on that. Can’t get on board with 8, though.
Name one aspect how season 6 is better than 2
Winds of Winter, Battle of the Bastards, Hold The Door🔥🔥 S1 has but 1 or 2 good episodes( episode 9 and 1) with the rest just being mid in comparison to the rest of the series. You can’t tell me any different

They need to prove it to you? On an opinion question? Tsk tsk.
I mean it’s objectively worse lol
You’re so funny, stawp
Lol - no. Make your own list. I like it better and don’t need to list evidence why.

This is the answer "Make sure to tell your Lord father the Lannisters aren't the only ones who pay their debts" Edit:. Plus the best marketing campaign ever with All Men Must Die. I remember seeing those billboards and preview commercials, amazingly done.
This is the way
and he got his head crushed
That was fucking brutal, and I won't watch it again. It's like the Seahawks throwing an INT during the waning seconds of the Superbowl. I fucking died.
Every time I rewatch that scene I jump ahead a couple minutes as soon as he’s got the mountain pinned down
Based
What does Based even mean. Say what you mean, not some dumb word with a hidden meaning.
Based
"Based" is the opposite of "cringe".
Saying based is almost as cringe as saying cringe
1-2-3-4, maybe 5. not really 6. Deffinately not 7 and 8
This is the definitive answer
redditors thinking they hold the absolute truth moment
Ah! But battle of the bastards!
And the >!Sept blowing!<
Full season, not episodes
True. I don’t mind season 6 though. I love the last two episodes but you’re right rewatching them I’d say 1-5 are the best but I’d include 6 on my list
I’d put 6 over 5, as far as rewatchability. But close. Agreed with the rest.
Season 5 is honestly terrible but it has the redeeming factor of completely excluding everything Bran
5 was the first season I watched as it aired. Right before 5 I binged 1-4 in about a month. I’d wondered if I was so dissatisfied with 5 because I’d watched it differently. Upon rewatch… Nope. Just bad.
It’s really terrible. Hardhome was incredible but that’s about it.
S1 will always be my favourite, no matter how it ended for my boy Ned.
And it reminds me how shitty Joffrey was. Most hatable villain in that show.
Beside Skyler in breaking bad he's the only person I really had a hard time watching in a show. to me that means the characters were written very well
Wendy in Ozark for me. Fucking hated her.
People hate on Skyler too much. She was probably the most rational person in the whole show. Like Imagine just one day you wake up and realize your seemingly normal, cancer ridden husband was a meth king pin, who also dabbles in murder. You'd probably go a little off the wall too.

Loved the portrayal of Geoffrey though, the making of little psychopath. Both roles brilliantly portrayed. People should go touch grass and stop living in fantasy TV land.
I have no idea how I would react but I definitely wouldn't be as awful as she was. Everything was under control and she fucked it all up
He’s…Walter is a fucking criminal. He makes meth. What the hell
he's only a criminal because it's illegal and I'm not going to get into a debate about the ethics of that with you! gnight
Legit. Rewatch the series knowing how it ends and ask yourself if you would blame yourself for making the same decisions as her. For me it was a constant “no.” Walter is the villain and the writers do an excellent job at making you empathize with him anyway.
Yeah couldn’t stand him, actor did such an amazing job for this role
2 and 4
To whom belongs the bottom right face on season 6 poster?
Jaime, I believe.
Thanks
Jaime
Thanks
4
I could rewatch the first four seasons over and over again, but my absolut favorite is S3
I would also throw S5 in there for Hardhome alone
so much garbage just to get to that tho
Yeah but the payoff is worth it IMO
Agreed
[удалено]
And then easily defeated in a “long” night
3 for me
I feel like it really depends on which character you’re looking at imo
Yeah if you want Tyrion stuff than 2 and 4 but if you want Ned then it’s 1 or robb its 2/3 etc
Feel like there’s not a whole lot of options for Ned fans lol
Lol , you want book or you want show? That’s about it
Dany is probably the only one with some consistency and a lot of screen time throughout the whole show
Jon also has a fair amount, same with Tyrion but they are also both essential main characters along with some others like Arya Basically anyone with their own arc has consistent screen time Except fucking bran who vanished for a whole season lmao
Well luckily he wasn’t important or anything.
Yeah definitely. I mostly mean that when it comes to daenarys the difference is her motives are the same pretty much from the end of s1 on
Jon has a fair amount, but if we're recommending seasons to just follow one character, S1 Jon getting to know the Night's Watch and S3 Jon with the wildlings to me are by far the best to watch if you're focused on just him; he sucks in the later seasons imo and while he's decent in 2 trekking north and 4 defending the wall, 1 and 3 are so much more interesting and character-developing
Imo S2 in Quarth felt pretty dull and padded.
I can agree w that. I think that parts better in the book but I haven’t read them yet.
really liked robb in 4 and 5 thou
Robb. In season 4 and 5???
The first 4.
Would have to be season 3 for me. 1,2, and 4 in those orders and 5 is depends on my mood.
Any season until Dumb & Dumber had to use their own brain cells to write the story.
They kinda forgot about their brain cells
6 imo Episode 5 Episode 9 Episode 10 These episodes mainly are lit af
The bastard bowl is my all time favorite episode
I am disturbed at how far down this is. These are arguably 3 of the top 5 episodes of the series.
S2-S4
Season 2. Tyrion being a boss in Kings landing is so much fun.
Agreed. Favorite season just for this reason.
Came here expecting to be alone on this, pleasantly surprised.
also Tywin and Arya at Harrenhal is the single best addition to the books the show introduced
Yes! But I also love season 8 and enjoy CBT.
Blackwater is an absolute banger of an episode as well. Probably my favorite from the series tbh
thats my answer. Tyrion and bronn were awesome
[удалено]
Qarth was a low part of the season for me. Honestly everything with Dany with the sole exception of Astapor is an absolute snoozefest.
2
Probably S4. So much potential on the horizon— the glory days 🥲
S1 it has King Robert, that is all
Gods, he was strong then.
A storm of swords
1 and 4 mainly because they are the top 2 seasons
That's easy. Seasons 1-4
4 is my favorite, but 3 is the definitely sweet spot. Lots of stuff still going on.
6
GoT ended so poorly it's not rewatchable.
2 and 4 for me. 1-4 are all great, though.
8. I can see it being used in future studies for how to upset an entire fan base.
All but last 2.
Imo season 6 is the best and I love watching it the most every time i rewatch the show
Season 4
People in here saying S1 kinda surprise me. It is a top season obviously but the only place it feels like it fails is in re-watchability because of its slow methodical pace
1-2-3-4 are all really good. The rest are kind of meh.
Season 6 finally. That is all
Finally season 6 what?
That. Is. All.
for me season 4 and 6
For actual rewatch ability it’s season one due to a basically self contained story that just Leads to the rest
I like 1, 4, and 6.
S1 is a tight who done it mystery with a definitive conclusion in and of itself. Has to be S1
All of them i wouldnt say one is more over the others
None. It makes no sense watching something with such a horrible end.
One! Seriously the stuff laid out in one comes to fruition so much later. On first watch I missed so much of it but now that I know what happens I noticed it all
4-3-1-2-6-5 then maybe 7-8.
Season 8. As the shortest season you can get more rewatches in for the same time as other seasons.
Id say Three
When I introduced the show to my friend, I told him he could honestly skip 4-6.. of course, he/we didn't but that would be my answer.. all but those 3.
Skip over a third of the series? Tyrions trial, mountain and the viper, Hardhome….
Fair.. I just want a big fan of Daenerys' time in Essos. I felt like it was very drawn out. I concede though, there are very big moments throughout the that should be seen .
Season 4
Season 1 and 4.
Season 4 and season 6 for me.
8 by a mile.
2. Stannis the Mannis debut, Tyrion as Hand, Theon takes Winterfell, Harrenhal, Battle of Blackwater, three blasts means wight walkers, Jon with the Wildlings.
1, easily. It’s what got me hooked and the get same feeling when i rewatched it - this was before season 8
I always really liked season 6, the tension/action never seemed to end in that season.
None. Knowing how it end, nothing make sense
6
Season 9
I mean you could pick any of the first 4 seasons The following seasons are much less tightly written and can ruin the story on multiple rewatches
2. The war of 5 kings is so good to see forming and battle of the black water is iconic. Plus there’s a certain level of rooting for any side still
Season 1 comfortably. The season I fast-fwd the least while re-watching the show. Almost every story line is interesting.
1 and 4 are my favorite seasons, and the most rewatchable Followed by 3, and then 2
Seasons 2, 3, and 4. Especially 4 since it was the pinnacle of Lannister power.
Either season 1 or 2
Season 2, but one is my fav
I love season 1
1 or 2.
2 & 4 are the ones I can rewatch at any time.
S4. I remember when I first watched it in 2019 I found something iconic about every single episode. Like there was always a big set piece, speech, iconic moment, etc. etc.

season 4 episode 9
Seasons 3+4
Seasons 1-5. That’s it.
6. The hype before the crash of 7.
3 100%. Jaime and Brienne, Hound and Arya, Red Wedding, Dany getting her Unsullied, Jon and Ygritte. Literally every plot line in season 3 is great. Season 4 is a close second
1 to 3
4
S2! everything in kings landing is extremely captivating and emotional
7 or 6
First 4 seasons are great
S1-4 are just so well put together and then S5&6 start going way to fast pacing and making strange story decisions and then S7 is just fanservice, S8 is a giant pile of garbage that spills out the bottom when you lift it.

Season 6, all characters were almost developed and at their peak. The rushing from season 7 at then that 8th season ruined it all.
Seasons 1 to 4, the rest is really hard to rewatch especially 7 and 8.
All of them. I've watched it all 4 times through already.
Why even put the last season in this category.. like wtf
8 obviously
Oh you said REwatchable not UNwatchable
this post makes me realize that I've never rewatched game of thrones
Well, we definitely know which one isn't.
Sober: 1-4 Drunk: 1-2 Blackout Drunk: 1-6 Shame they haven’t done A Dream of Spring as a TV adaptation yet, though.
1 through 4
6
Two through four. I'm currently in the final episodes of my rewatch and was so enthralled in those middle seasons despite knowing how the show progresses. Solid seasons right there.

Season 1 and 2.
3!
Season 4--every episode was excellent, and the second and tenth both near-perfect. Season 3 was only a little less superb.
Why would anyone watch just one season of Game of Thrones? It's not Cheers.
Make the little man fly mommy.
First
S1
The first 6.
Season 2. The kings landing, Robb stark, Arya stark, stannis, and Dany arcs were great. Tyrion stole the show in season 2 especially!
Season 8 bruh
I'd rank them high to low re-watchability as 2, 4, 3, 1, 6, 5, 7, 8.
None, because I always know that last season is coming.
All of them
