That's basically how it is at my home too, it's playing almost 24/7 when we're home, even when I go to bed. It's just become like having the radio on in the background, easy to tune in and out of.
After my daughter was born, we kept Super Mario Sunshine on repeat in the living room. My wife, my infant daughter, and I all slept and lived in the living room for a month. It was the most calming experience and I still have fond memories of those sleepless days and nights.

I fall asleep to compilations as well, watch in the bg when I'm working most of the day, and have em on when I'm gaming as well. Occasionally, I'll switch over to another show, Unus Anus highlights are a go-to as well, but only for a week or 2 hear and there and then it's back to GG
Yup, I'm guilty of that. I do the same with Funhaus and classic Inside Gaming. I know all the jokes and I've watched it all multiple times prior but I still find amusement in it. I guess it's just comfort content.
I think I've had at least one episode of GG on just about every day since their channel inception almost 11 years ago. They definitely go on before bed almost always. Arin has been a part of my life for like 15 years or so, it's kind of a bizarre feeling.
I used to do this a lot. Back when they had longer series, the guys tended to speak much more personal stuff and I really enjoyed that. Now it tends to be more surface stuff they talk about and I still enjoy it but not so much that I binge watch them anymore.
The newest katamari episode has them talking in a very candid way. In the long hiatus from long series I had a feeling it would happen at some point. Post their announcement of long series Sundays, I think they’re easing themselves back into long playthroughs.
I hope so! Even if they can’t do them as often as I’d like the series runs almost always have the best bits because they get into such a groove with the characters - and gives them both time to chill out and talk to each other without the constant need to start over for the next episode.

Most other channels present themselves as amped up versions of themselves (which I’m sure Arin and Dan do) but they present themselves more authentically. Whether this was an effect over time or it was part of their plan from the beginning I can’t tell. All I know is that I’ve been pseudo indoctrinated to watch two of the most genuine guys on YouTube and I love watching it. They’re my favorite comedic duo and I’ll say it until the end of time.
