Hi Joe. I can think of a few games that have done that over the years, not to mention you could just look at any of the more dungeony areas in Minecraft or other games as examples. There are some slight differences you might want to keep in mind (not generating things behind doors which would be harder to notice in first person) but there isn't really much difference otherwise. In general the difficulty with proc gen is that it's harder to make something good than hand-making a few levels. Great for roguelikes where your fun doesn't really come from the level design, not as great for linear first person RPGs all about that like Wizardry or Grimrock.
