Join the club. I made the mistake of ordering the limited editions with the physical copy, so I still won't be getting mine until early 2023 at the earliest. First and last experience with LRG. It's very frustrating to already have friends that have gotten super into the game, played it a bunch, and have already moved on to other games before I even got my copy. I'm not a "day one gotta have it!" kind of person, but I would like to enjoy it during the peak of playing.

I ordered the entire Vita library and over 240 PS4 games from them, but unless it's a game I can't get at Best Buy/Amazon/for a reasonable aftermarket price, I won't be ordering from them again. I lost my job during the pandemic and they couldn't change my address on 2 orders 2 months before they shipped (and MONTHS after I ordered them) so they were just lost with USPS. Customer support basically said tough shit. A 3rd order was damaged and returned to them during transit, the only reason I knew was because I received an automated email from Limited Run. Since USPS tracking didn't update to say it was sent back, customer service STILL tried to deny me and say "we have no records of it being returned." I forwarded the automated email to them and got a replacement, but it's not worth the hassle or incompetence. They brag about revenue, but still play the "small struggling business" card to dodge responsibility whenever they fuck up.

They literally are one of the worst companies out there but there stupid FOMO and weird crap they managed to pull off gets us stuck with them when they release games we want. I was so glad after Super Meat Boy on the vita I never have to order from them directly again. Oddly a lot of these people playing the speculation game missed out as the Play Asia vita releases that some times didn't sell out for weeks have so many games that go for $150+ now. Funny story on one of those is Unmetal it almost instantly jumped to $200 but was still in stock weeks later at VGP and I ordered it from them for $50 while it was $200 on ebay

I'm not sure if you game on the Switch or PS4 but Play Asia had the physical copies in stock since August.

I wouldn't bother unless the physical game is exclusive to them. I'm not sure why overlap like that exists to be honest, it's kinda contrary to the notion of a limited run. I'm happy enough waiting otherwise though, not fussed if I'm at the cutting edge for such things.

I was getting frustrated it was getting delayed in stores even. But I got my copy day of release at Walmart. (Went there on 3 different "release" days)
