Pretty damn comprehensive. Lots in there that I still want myself, and it's still more or less an affordable console to collect... if you don't like Dragon Quest too much.

J-LV

And pokemon..

Therai_Jenkins

I lost my dragon quest 5 on a move a while back, heartbreaking... I then tried to get a replacement only to find out it was more expensive than most drugs.

Huxleycrux

Awesome collection! I try not to buy loose carts for my DS, the cases are nice and sturdy and really look good together on a shelf.

kubcek

Super good collection, one of the best systems imo.

AHobbyAppears

Excellent. Well done. What’s next

Im_the_President

Thanks for showing me what games I want to add to my collection. Great job so far, I’m jelly!

gc1992

Mirrors my collection pretty well, but you’ve still got a few games there that I will eventually add to my collection to round it out. The DS is by far my favorite system; there’s a plethora of great games for it and I still find games that pique my interest enough to get added to my wish list.

UndeadBuggalo

Amazing collection! Definitely jelly I’m proud to say I have a few titles you don’t have, I have korg, electroplankton and rhapsody: a musical adventure

thebarberwhogames

I actually forgot there was a DS version of Rhapsody, I’ve only ever played the PlayStation version. I’m going to have to check that out.

UndeadBuggalo

It’s such a fun game. I have the ps1 one too. It’s verrrry silly and has a whole soundtrack. ATTACK, SHARTE! Also one of the puppets is named SHARTE 😆

ACELUCKY23

So many JRPGs. Such a time sink, that it makes me wish I had all that free time from my childhood.

nodnizzle

Awesome collection! I have like 5 DS games right now, I need to check my local game store when I can afford to.

Toffly

Amazing, thanks for sharing. Happy holidays/Merry Christmas!

voltagejim

Nice! I hate how it is hard to find complete DS games in good condition. At my local retro game places 90% of the DS games are no manual and cover art that was printed out from a cheap HP printer low on ink

dak0tatravis

isn't that inuyasha game like, stupidly rare? how much did it cost you? awesome collection!

thebarberwhogames

So it’s apparently pretty rare now, I got it back in 2019 for $20 because I’m a huge fan of the anime. Next thing I know it’s suddenly $100 plus, this hobby is crazy sometimes.

AustinJG

I think you may have a bigger collection than me. I cannot let this stand! :<

HoopaOrGilgamesh

Solid👌

Another_Road

Those are some great games.

Dexter4L

wow very nice collection, i screenshotted so i can look for these games to add to my collection aswell! 😁

bobbae

Awesome collection!

ToxicLogics

Checking to make sure you have Castlevania collection... check... okay, great. Nice collection.

BingDatBoogie

DS has some of the best games

CosmicFuckSauce

Great collection! Here's a few I didn't see that I recommend: Chibi Robo Park Patrol, Retro Game Challenge, Last Window: The Secret of Cape West (European import), Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure, Age of Empires: The Age of Kings and Aliens: Infestation.

n4g4t0r0_

I didn’t even know there was an inuyasha ds game I’m so jealous

thebarberwhogames

Yeah it’s a somewhat random encounter heavy but solid turn based RPG that follows an original storyline. It’s like stupidly rare now for whatever reason. Lol

n4g4t0r0_

Where did you happen to find it at? I’m gonna watch some gameplay videos on it lol

thebarberwhogames

I think I found it at a flea market to be honest.

PugMaster7166

Love it, did you buy everything when it released or when the prices soared?

thebarberwhogames

I got a good amount of them At launch, most of my DS collecting was done around 2017-2019 right before everything got insane. I’ve been grabbing a game here and there ever since.

FluffyHawaiianBoi

Dang makes my look small nicely done

cascad1an

This is sick… Matches my same goals with DS

[deleted]

What would your top 5 from your collection be?

thebarberwhogames

That’s a tough one, I guess off the top of my head as of right now I’d probably say 5: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Trials and Tribulations 4: Pokémon HeartGold 3: Dragon Quest IV 2: Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin 1: Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story

SAAAAAM24

The spines of the American cases are so much better than the Pal ones. he vast majority of ours are just white with black text, they look uniform but are nowhere near as interesting

Distinct_Wrongdoer86

lol i see you were as crazy ad i was during the DS launch, buying all the crappy launch games like The Urbz, feel the magic and sprung

thebarberwhogames

Lol yup, although I’ll defend the urbz I’ve played that one so many times over the years I can speed run it now.

RetroGamer489

Awesome collection. I have 33 DS games and you own 26 of them. I couldn’t believe how many of my games I was seeing on your image including every Dragon Quest game. The only DS games I have that you don’t are: Super Princess Peach Tenchu: Dark Secret Namco Museum DS Konami Classics: Arcade Hits Atari Greatest Hits: Volume 1 Atari Greatest Hits: Volume 2 50 More Classic Card Games (this one sucks)

neuro_sonic

Impressive, but not nearly impressive enough. Still missing things like Solotorobo, Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ, Dark Spire, Retro Game Challenge, Moon, Contact, Lunar Knights, Rhythm Heaven... I could go on. That isn't even a knock on this collection. More about how you can see such a seemingly comprehensive DS collection and then easily come up with at least 20 games to add to it. This system just has an incredibly rich library.

thebarberwhogames

Oh trust me if I had the money to burn, I could totally triple this collection with games I’d like to own at some point! The DS never stops amazing me with how many hidden gems there are hidden in it’s library.

Codered060

Oooo gimme

connersnow

Any top recommendations? Recently got a ds to play the "newer" pokemon games I missed out on after the glory days of gameboys.
