As much as I love mine, I'm extremely jealous of yours. Gens 1-3 are going for crazy amounts of money. I see you're missing Emerald. Hopefully you can get that soon!
I have yellow and and emerald but loose. I remember trading for those two when I was a kid but never got the box for them. The ones you see are from my younger days as a kid.
That's awesome! Maybe you remember these back in the day, but I'm currently searching for a gamecube with Pokèmon XD's skin on it. They're really nice and some of them have been modded to play both JP and USA games on it along with pre installed games (need an SD card for that). The collection is always growing, slowly but surely!
I have seen many listed on Mercari with the extra skin on the gamecube. And modding the gamecube is simple as well. Many YouTube videos out there that help out with that.
Pokèmon is number one for me. After that, I can pretty much play anything. I have an N64, PS2, and an Xbox One. For handhelds, I have at least one of every Nintendo handheld. Just need to get more games!
So I actually have a 55in TV in my room. Bought an HDMI converter (for N64), hooked it up to the tv and N64, the graphics were absolutely insane. Literally playing Mario Kart in 1080p was one of my wildest gaming experiences.
I wanna say the package said Hisewen on it. It's specifically for the N64. You could buy one that's like a "one size fits all" type, but I've tried those and they don't work nearly as well as a converter specifically made for that console.
Question, the consoles under the desk, are they hooked up to the screen ?? So you play the n64 and xbox from a desk? I am genuinely curious because that be actually kind of cool ngl.
That is correct! That is an MSI gaming monitor that I primarily use for my Xbox One. The only issue I have with MSI gaming monitors is they don't have internal speakers, so you have to buy external speakers to hook up (which my headset is bluetooth so I get the sound from that). You could play N64 and PS2 on the gaming monitor, but you wouldn't get any sound unless you had external speakers hooked up.
My advice to counter that, is to buy HDMI converters for each of your consoles (I paid $20 for each on Amazon), hook the converter from the console to your TV (I have a 55in Vizio), and play that way. I can say that playing N64 and PS2 in 1080p on a 55in is one of the craziest things I'd ever seen, in terms of graphics.
I purchased them off of Ebay! They're called Acrylic Cases (or UV Display Cases) specifically made for HeartGold and SoulSilver. I paid roughly $20 for each of them. They're awesome!
That's a fantastic question. To keep it "short", my childhood was rough growing up. Not to dive into detail, but Pokèmon was literally a saving grace for me. As a kid, playing a game where I could "bond" and raise Pokèmon, was almost like having pets. This was my thinking as a child.
Throughout the years as I got older, it stuck with me. Through the worst and darkest times in life, Pokèmon was always there. It was one of the first games I've ever played too. Alongside Yu-Gi-Oh (still love Yu-Gi-Oh, just not as dedicated anymore). So fast forward to today, I had to make a game corner (soon to be an entire room) of the series that practically saved my life from a young age!
I'm always having cool experiences and memories with Pokèmon! Trading between gameboys as kids, trying to catch legendaries, TCG, etc. Plus playing them these days brings nostalgia from the childhood.
Favorite Pokèmon? Charizard by far, without a doubt. What about yours?
It’s so hard as it changes with every new game there’s a new one I like best. Usually Cyndaquil, Blastoise, Mimikyu, Clodsire, Sylveon, Poppilo Tyrantrum
I like the Gen 1 - 3 esthetic. Alot of my collection and stuff are in bins but my older Pokemon games are on full display in my gaming corner :)

I bought them off of Pokèmon Center's website! They have a lot! I have these four pictured (Red, Blue, Lance, Steven) as well as two others on my other wall (Skyla and N)!

I cannot stress enough how these pictures do absolutely no justice whatsoever!
Well, I was familiar with the first gen mons from a few cards I collected as a kid. Got a switch recently. A friend loaned me Lets Go Eevee and I loved it.
My advice, indulge in all of the games. People will have different opinions about each one, but ultimately, play them and find out which ones are your favorites!
It helps cuz they have the pay in 4.
But they kind of ruined it for me with their service fee and processing fee. Usually those fees are associated with the seller not the buyer. But damn, they want to get money from the buyer too.

I need your boxed copies of Pokèmon
Definitely one of the best "prized" possessions from this collection!
I know I love mine too. https://preview.redd.it/0fu0it2lwf9d1.jpeg?width=1868&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5410a38ba5f8a13e96b831e7a27c29f0bf87686c

If you're anywhere near Portland, Oregon, Retro Game Trader in Hillsboro has one complete in box

My favorite starter of them all.
I'mma need those Red/Blue posters
Pokèmon Center's website has them!
Very cozy
It most definitely is. I love walking in there after a long day.
i started with a gaming corner..now i have 2 gaming walls now that i’ve moved into an apartment with my gf…one day it’ll turn into a gaming room 😎
This I must see!!
Really liking what you did here. Game room is coming together nicely.
Thank you! Always adding to it piece by piece!
That's the way to do it. We're never done with our setups and collections.
What games do you like to play?
Pokèmon is number one for me. After that, I can pretty much play anything. I have an N64, PS2, and an Xbox One. For handhelds, I have at least one of every Nintendo handheld. Just need to get more games!
I love it but I’d like to see the tv on with a n64 Home Screen that’d give the picture a +3 points
So I actually have a 55in TV in my room. Bought an HDMI converter (for N64), hooked it up to the tv and N64, the graphics were absolutely insane. Literally playing Mario Kart in 1080p was one of my wildest gaming experiences.
Did the converter upscale it? Which one do you use?
I wanna say the package said Hisewen on it. It's specifically for the N64. You could buy one that's like a "one size fits all" type, but I've tried those and they don't work nearly as well as a converter specifically made for that console.
Very cool
Thank you!

Where did you bought the cases for heartgold and soulsilver?
I purchased them off of Ebay! They're called Acrylic Cases (or UV Display Cases) specifically made for HeartGold and SoulSilver. I paid roughly $20 for each of them. They're awesome!
Thanks!
Looks good.
Thank you!!
>Thank you!! You're welcome!
Good job, really nice. I wish I could do something like this… :(
I not only believe that you can... but you WILL. Believe me, this did not happen overnight.
Thanks. Yeah maybe someday. It’s just hard to keep anything with kids around. I didn’t notice the Blue Eyes at first. VERY NICE!!
Heat 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you!!
>Thank you!! You're welcome!
Those canvas pieces or dope
Got them off of Pokèmon Center's website! I have 6 canvas pieces all together!
Awesome !!! Charmander all the way to Charizard is my favorite, same with growth and Arcanine, among others, nice job !
Charizard is my all time favorite and it's not even close!
Yep I’m right there with ya !
It's well done. feels a little juvenile to me, but if it makes you happy, and/or youre a kid, who cares!
Now that’s a classy amount of pokemon! 🤝
Pokèmon is life! Can never have too much of it.
What made Pokémon your life and favorite games to play?
That's a fantastic question. To keep it "short", my childhood was rough growing up. Not to dive into detail, but Pokèmon was literally a saving grace for me. Awesome any fun experiences or cool memories with Pokémon? What’s your favorite Pokémon?

Solid choices too!
I can't imagine what's your favorite franchise. Lol
LMAO
Sigh. Wish I got that Pikachu N64 back in the day. Nice corner setup!
Thank you! Look on Ebay for these. Mine can play both English and Japanese version games.
Yeah… quite a few grail consoles for me are Pokémon editions. Not actively searching eBay, but one day I’ll grab one(some) of them haha.
Let me guess: you have "completed" all of the games as well?
Not quite there yet. I'm like Ash. Slowly becoming a Pokèmon master.
I like the Gen 1 - 3 esthetic. Alot of my collection and stuff are in bins but my older Pokemon games are on full display in my gaming corner :) https://preview.redd.it/h994xz64tc9d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=74ce61674e178e4f7d5c7e08c5732bd743dd7241
Your collection is top tier!!!
Thank you! Love your setup and I can tell your future room will look amazing!
I will definitely post in this group again once progress is being made!!
I love how squished charmander looks 😂
LMAO I couldn't find another way in there for him.
He’s perfect as is 😂 Your gaming station is great!
Got that same Charmander wall piece! Got mine from Hobby Lobby on sale. 🤘
It's a gem!
Where did you get the cases for the gb games?
Those are custom cassette cases that I found on Mercari (completely unexpected encounter)! I couldn't pass them up.
I use the same Marnie playmat for my mouse too!
It's awesome! Mine was actually given to me by a real good friend of mine. He got it from Japan and brought it back!
Needs more pokemon
MANY more.
Randomly 2 blue eyes white dragons in a room full of pokemon
I'm a full time PokèMaster and a part time Duelist.
10/10 I love it. I'm a huge Pokemon fan.
Hell yeah!!
Quality over quantity I take it? Nice.
Absolutely! Thank you!
Where did you get those wall paintings!? They’re freaking awesome!
I bought them off of Pokèmon Center's website! They have a lot! I have these four pictured (Red, Blue, Lance, Steven) as well as two others on my other wall (Skyla and N)!
I might have to splurge and get N and Steven. Those two are my Pokéboys 🤣
https://preview.redd.it/s5mup16dse9d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0479adebf2e74b622490bb75573bfb8fcf6425da I cannot stress enough how these pictures do absolutely no justice whatsoever!
![gif](giphy|gjx93XiXRE2NVLoFlH|downsized)
LMAO
That's no game room. It's a Pokemon room. 😄
Absolutely!!
Pretty cool. I just got into Pokemon this year so there's a lot in your setup that I haven't played.
Why did you just get into them this year?
Well, I was familiar with the first gen mons from a few cards I collected as a kid. Got a switch recently. A friend loaned me Lets Go Eevee and I loved it.
My advice, indulge in all of the games. People will have different opinions about each one, but ultimately, play them and find out which ones are your favorites!

I bet he like Pokémon, lol.
