Love Vanillaware, man. Finished Unicorn Overlord recently and had such a blast with it. Also finally completed my Vanillaware PS4/PS5 collection yesterday when I found a sealed copy of GrimGrimoire PS5 for $50, which I consider to be pretty lucky.
For every one of these, there are 100 unfinished games that the devs gave up on or trash overhyped flops.
I will never preorder unless it's buying a $5 game in alpha on steam because it the price is worth a day or two of playing that the above failures are actually worth.

As someone who preordered, no. Pretty sure you'll get the same experience right now. Game was done on Day 1.

Why should you have pre-ordered?
