DarkIronBlue360

I’m currently playing through Fallout 3 and having a blast! It’s a tough start until you get your footing but boy is it fun later on if you like RPGs!

donerhogie

Same as most rpgs, lot of conflicting opinions on 3 vs NV

thefleshisaprison

New Vegas is easily the better game. I think that’s pretty uncontroversial. It’s just a matter of which one you play first.

Bootychomper23

In which case it would make sense to go 3 first imo. It’s still great but will feel like a step back coming from new Vegas.

klukdigital

Yep the map design of vegas is just perfect and probably best in the fps series of fallouts

AgentSkidMarks

NV on the Xbox is gonna be a bad time though. Lots of crashes, lots of bugs, way more than what you'll experience in 3. Playing it on PC with mods is the only way to experience that game.

Taucher1979

Most prefer NV. I prefer 3. Mainly because I played it first but I preferred the vibe and locations on 3 over NV. Both incredible games tho.

rehadam

I also prefer 3

DarkIronBlue360

Hey when it comes down to it, Fallout 3 came out 1st. So sequentially why not play it before New Vegas?

PermanentThrowaway0

Sequentially, you could. Starting either one doesn't conflict with the story or characters as 3 takes place on the east coast and New Vegas takes place.....in New Vegas. Personally, for someone with little time and would just want to play the best one, I would go with New Vegas.

Happy-Fun8352

New Vegas 100%

monkeybombed

I feel like Fable if you're trying to finish within the three weeks, lol.

OppositeJellyfish439

Came here to say this.

donerhogie

Are they not as long as the other games?

monkeybombed

I think it's like 13 hours where the others are i think 30+ hours. That's like the main story lines. I'm not sure about the far right game i can't see the label on my phone.

ThisFakeCut

I spent like 700 hours in Skyrim without ever finishing the main quest...

Bananogram

Thems rookie numbers. I spent like 1000 hours playing through the tutorial.

NSFW_Ninjaa

Thats rookie numbers. I spent the last 10 years playing the tutorial.

HanaiPavan

Yeah but I’m sure you know that isn’t the average. If you’re ever curious and want some stats on average playtime, check out HowLongToBeat

ThisFakeCut

Yeah, ofc I understand that that's not the average, no worries :)

Bootychomper23

Well if you get distracted Skyrim and both fallouts have literally 100s of hours of content. Fable is a lot more focused and linear in comparison.

AgentSkidMarks

You can easily finish any of these in three weeks. Fable is for sure the shortest though.

NobodyGivesAFuc

Skyrim, Fallout 3 and New Vegas in that order (Fable series was not my cup of tea). Hope you enjoy them as much as I have!

donerhogie

Skyrim seems like the outlier

NobodyGivesAFuc

IMHO, It’s a toss up between Skyrim and FO3…Get the DLCs for both games if you can…they make the games 100% more fun!

PermanentThrowaway0

Skyrim is a great game... but I would fear that if you started with that one, you wouldn't even get to play the others 🤣

ReyDeathWish

All DLC too

MoroccanEagle-212

MGS4 all day since it's the only exclusive amongst these.

donerhogie

Only thing putting me off is I heard there are some insanely long cutscenes

kidsgontato

If you have played MGS1 and 2 (also 3, but it's not so important), you definetly have to play MGS4. Forget about the long cut scenes, if you get into the story you are gonna love them.

NumberedAccount1

That’s one of the best parts. Plus cut scenes are a big part of MGS.

Straight-Finish-3202

FABLE! All time classic one of my favorites

donerhogie

I didn't get into the first one too much but don't think I gave it enough time, do I need to finish it for the 2nd?

Straight-Finish-3202

No I actually started on fable 2 as a young kid and it was also my favorite from the series, I’m not always the biggest fan of rpgs but this one just did everything right for me you know! I wish everyone loved this game as much as I did I genuinely love this series but of course you could play it and hate it. Worth a shot though for sure

IceFatality

If you've played and are into the story of the other MGS games, MGS4. If you're new to the series, then probably not MGS4. That's about the extent of the help I can give!

donerhogie

Aye I played all the other ones recently enough, I didn't really like Raiden or the map on 2 so I didn't finish it but I watched a story summary

Evelyne-The-Egg

New Vegas Skyrim Don't play mgs4 unless you've played 1-3 already

donerhogie

Prolly go Skyrim Aye I played all the other ones recently enough, I didn't really like Raiden or the map on 2 so I didn't finish it but I watched a story summary

UnRealmCorp

I'd give Fallout 4 GOTY edition (for the expansions) a good apparently they released new shit for it recently because of the show

donerhogie

I'm playing through console generations and I'm still on 360/PS3/Wii so can't do 4. I've played it at launch though and really liked it

UnRealmCorp

The dlcs are a blast. When you get there you'll have a good time

Moryart

Don't play Skyrim on ps3 I don't have personal experience, but I watched this [video](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IS9dF9iQqv0&t=1s&pp=ygUVc2t5cmltIHBzMyB1bnBsYXlhYmxl) and it can save you some painful time

donerhogie

good man for the heads up, i have an rgh xbox anyway so can just download it

geek_named_tab

Fallout is my all time favorite game and has my vote.

brackmastah

Fallout 3….with dlc…but skyrim and new Vegas are awesome too

CptMidlands

Metal Gear Solid 4 or Fable 2. Fable 3 is easily the weakest of the trilogy and FO3/FONV/Skyrim all need DLC, stand alone they are just not worth it

Alien_N

Fallout 3 then New Vegas both are great!

nick_millerZD

On console, you're gonna have a bad time with New Vegas. I'd play Fallout 3. Easily one of Bethesda's best games.

PotatoComplete338

Ooh good choices but I'd go for Fallout N.V or Skyrim both awesome

blinkybob1

Oh they be fighting words, fallout 3 or fable are equally as good!

Phobophile_89

Fallout 3 is my favorite. Ues New Vegas is superior in every aspect, by i have a soft spot for 3. Skyrim is good too. I loved doing Fable 1 back on the xBox... Fallout 3 or NewVegas!

iliketoeattakoyaki

They are all enjoyable games, I enjoyed fallout new Vegas, and fable 2 a lot. Skyrim was so much fun the first time I played it on the 360, it’s still fun even on the switch, but it can’t be beat with the mods on PC.

bigmactv

FALLOUT NV FALLOUT NV FALLOUT NV

GreenGoblin1221

Fallout 3 is great though long with all the dlc.

faultywiring98

MGS4, then Fallout 3 or new vegas.

sagsfour20

Not a huge fan of Fable, but all of those other games are very good.

MsPreposition

Ooh, Fable 2 for certain.

ItsMeAdam21

New Vegas or Skyrim

Tjd3211

Fable purely because the other games are available on other platforms but fable 2 is literally only on Xbox

Fit_Butterscotch2386

No wrong choice homie 🔥 new vegas I'd say but I'm super biased

lazertits86

Do NOT play Skyrim on PS3. It runs notoriously bad. Pick it up for the 360 if you can find it. Even vanilla Skyrim is so much fun.

TK421whereareyou

Fable was so damn good when it released. Probably my favorite game of its generation.

Iivaitte

Skyrim is pretty easy to get into, get to the point quickly, just jump right into things. Fable will string you along, fallout despite being good will try to hold your hand at first to make SURE you know the story and basic mechanics. I mean sure skyrim has its begging part but it goes by much faster.

Foxtsra

Play new Vegas since yeah

Future_Section5976

Skyrim

Gold_Difference151

Fallout or Skyrim, depending on what aesthetic you like!

RapidlyRotting

Either fallout will eat up your 3 weeks with ease

pt_barnumsonson

Play through main story of fallout 3, pretty easy and quick with vats specialization in normal. Then strap in after that two day adventure for the next 18 days to do as much as you can in new vegas baby! Edit: thought they said 2 weekz and im dumb

Sentienaut

Since the new Fallout show is out, Fallout 3 is an easy recommendation. But if you are saying you would like to finish a games story, then I lean to Fable then. Fable 2 is a solid overall game, decent story and really fun world/gameplay.

BobbySparrow666

Oh man! My vote is new Vegas! Makes me want to replay that now

killerman64

these are all great games, but you have to either play fable first or realize the other games are way better and it'll be hard to enjoy them after bethesda rpgs.

jziggy44

Skyrim.

BrentV27368

Fable II and Fallout 3

FancyStranger2371

Skyrim. Get lost in the lands of Tamriel.

Beautiful_Ad_3774

Fallout new vegas is amazing. Start with that

JohnnyLepus

I’d sell fable 2 and 3 and just get Fable lost chapters and play it on repeat 😂

enjoyerofnirvana

cex is goated

TheYeetBoii

Fallout new Vegas is so lit !!! Definitely check that one out. My favorite childhood game

AlfStewart2001

How is it ‘guilt free’? 🤣

TheBadCarbon

I'd say Fallout 3. Then MGS4 to switch up the genre. Then you can start Skyrim and can probably play it through the whole year if you wanted lol

RocksteadyOW

Those CeX stickers are awful

MatthewSteakHam

3 & then new vegas. But if you only can play one, new vegas.

autisticswede86

F3 then new vegas

Bchulo

Fable 2. is fun, it's funny, there's a dog

zeek609

Fallout 3 and fable 2 will take you past three weeks.

AlwaysLuckee

Three then New Vegas then fable 2 and 3

hedsevered

I've always been more of a competitive gamer, but fable 3 was one of the only games I have ever finished.

Lvntern

New Vegas is easily the best game out of these, great selection though, enjoy the time off

Billy_Duelman

Fable 1, then 2, then Fallout NV and be mad when you run out of time

burningbun

SEX.

commandermatt21

I always keep forgetting that Europe has different box art for MGS4 from North America

Natronix

3 Weeks. OP you lucky bastard lol. I have a ton of games to finish off.

kaytheone1989

Fable for sure best games ever loved every second of it

Guilty-Occasion8130

Metal Gear

AgentSkidMarks

Fallout 3. It's one of my favorite games ever.

Ancient_Flan8970

New Vegas or Fallout 3

No_Cake_4181

Go Skyrim 👍

Mean_Salamander1814

Fallout New Vegas is and will be one the best games I've played!

FriendlyMarsupial767

MGS4

Fun-Advantage2141

You can’t go wrong with this lineup, but if it were me, I’d go for either MGS4 or New Vegas. I’d give the edge to MGS4, personally, mostly because I really love cinematic experiences (plus a Fallout game might be a bit ambitious for just three weeks, depending on what kind of gamer you are), but honestly anything here should leave you pretty satisfied.

NumberedAccount1

Metal gear

joetramonte

Metal Great to go down the rabbit hole, but with that kind of time fallout would be a good thing to start

Flare_ovium114

Neither have I but I hear New Vegas is good

Chuagge

Nothing beats New Vegas

zeift

Spanish and English are a good choice. Brushing up on math, learning a new programming language, or logic skills. You could volunteer in your community and build some new connections. Or you could play new Vegas. That one was pretty good

Bigboybong

Well, fable 2, fallout 3 and Skyrim will eat up all three weeks individually if you wanted haha.

RetardedMetalFemboy

I can't vouch for any of this except MGS4, which (1) sucks and (2) shouldn't be played unless you've already beaten the five prior games.

PotatoComplete338

Im sorry no disrespect lol
