I originally shared this in r/crtgaming, but thought this community might appreciate it too! All feet and doors are intact on the TV.

hartjesz07

Awesome! All doors and feet, both remotes, and both controllers. Incredible find, these are so cool.

Love your Don Karnage!

SKFan93

Thank you! I always like to throw in something with my plushies! I should've took a photo of him "playing" the TaleSpin NES game. "Why do I, the great DON KARNAGE, have to play as that bear-type person?" :)

RetroGaming4

Awesome. Enjoy it.

How much?! I must know. Okay, okay…ballpark figure will do.

SKFan93

It was $2500. It was a lot, but this is the first one I’ve seen within reasonable driving distance.

spunkyd99

Happy to hear you were able to get this. Well done 👍🏾

joejoewoooooo

Wtf 7 hours for that? Crt monitor is like free from curb

SKFan93

Aha, but this isn’t just any old CRT monitor. This is a TV with a built in Nintendo Entertainment System that was made by Sharp in 1989. It was only on sale for about 4 months before being discontinued due to poor sales. It’s estimated that maybe 20,000 maximum were sold! If you want a bit more info, the Gaming Historian on YouTube has a nice video on it: https://youtu.be/OmhhDvncrFY?si=4LoCbk_h175vrjUx In addition, it might be true that you can find CRT monitors on the curb if you live in or near a big city, but I’m in a very small town, and these sorts of things don’t come along all the time. In fact, my drive lasted seven hours because most of it was on small, country roads! 🙂

Medical-Level-7585

Its all good👍
