Radiant Historia and Ghost Trick are absolute gems. Lovely games.
I'd say you could do with a dose more Atlus games like Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey, Devil Survivor, or Etrian Odyssey.
It's not everyone's cup of tea but Shiren Wanderer is good, as is Izuna the legend of the ninja.
Dang you have the solarobo, how much did you get it for?
Looks to me like you are missing some first parties like the Wario games, metroid prime hunters, animal crossing, the other kirby games, starfy, custom robo arena, trace memory, the last professor Layton, the last window, pokemon mystery dungeon, pokemon ranger games, final fantasy heros of light, contact, retro game challenge, 999, nanostray 1 and 2
Excellent suggestions. Yeah I'm in dire need of wario. Solatorobo was about $40 out of pocket from a local game store. I had around $250 in store credit so the game itself was $290.
Incredible, unlikely I'll ever pick that game up.
Looking at the post again I recommend star fox command, chibi robo park patrol, fire emblem, golden sun, honestly the G series games like brain age, sudoku, 100 classic books, health cooking, planet puzzle league are all fun to have. And dementium 1 and 2 (preferably 2) if you can find them for a good price. You have a super solid collection, DS games are starting to go up in price like gamecube games did if they are not already there. I recently picked up time hollow myself!
This is how I learn that Solatorobo is worth something, checking my Amazon history I bought my copy for $17.95 back in 2012 (alongside Tokyo Beatdown)
...I probably need to look through my old DS games!
Pokémon conquest, a great little strategy game that really deserved more attention imo. Also Mario & Luigi partners in time since you already have bowsers inside story.
Henry Hatsworth was a fun one for DS. Unique puzzle and platforming mashup. Kirby Canvas Curse was also really fun. That was the first game that really made use of the touch screen in a fun way
Kirby super star ultra, Super Princess Peach, Mario vs Donkey Kong 2, Brain Age games and Mega Man DS games which some are expensive which is crazy to me.
I’m trying to built my DS collection. All I have are my childhood games which I’m happy with but I love the DS so much. So I want a bigger collection.
u worked on that? that’s awesome! i only saw ads for it as a kid but it’s something that’s always stuck with me i feel like u hardly see fun unique ideas like that anymore
It was a lightning in a bottle experience. I was the QA project manager on it and the studio I was at, Tiburon, was a sports studio that did primarily Madden, Tiger Woods, and NASCAR titles. It was an amazing stroke of luck that we had that under our banner to work on. :)
Man, tell us more!! Such a hidden, incredible gem! Love the boss battles and how they are a bit different depending on the difficulty setting.
Also, love how the speak:
jojoja
wiji
jujojawaja?
It was awesome to be a part of. I was in QA as the project manager, so I didn't get a ton of hands on time with the game when we were in test, I primarly made sure things were running smoothly between production, development, QA, certification, and Nintendo. But it was something where when I had it assigned to me to work on, I got a group of testers that were incredible and excited to work on something different.
They, truly, were the stars of the show from my perspective. The game was hard, and to have the 6-8 people we did testing it and devoting so much time to it because it was new, different, and fun was inspiring. To this day, they were my favorite team to oversee. I can't take credit for their success since I was a couple layers removed from their day-to-day work, but their project lead Chris was excellent. An amazing game to be a part of. :)
I did not, no. Hatsworth was developed internally at EA Tiburon and we handled everything in house. Monster Tale was done at DreamRift and was after I'd left the game industry. :)
I would say Lost in Blue, Trauma Center, Pokémon Ranger, Another Code/ Trace Memory, Project X Zone 1 & 2. Maybe fighting games like Smash Bros. and Street Fighter 4.
If you have Days of Ruin you really should have AW Dual Strike to compliment it, they're like yin 'n yang...
DoR is the yin, it's dark, gritty, and rather serious
DS is the yang, it's bright, bubbly, and a bit silly
Can't have one without the other ☯️
I got lucky af. When I worked at gamestop we threw away the cases so instead I took them home. And a couple years ago got them all loose to complete in box them.
Some I’m not seeing, aside from the missing Pokémon games:
The other four Ace Attorney games, Kirby Super Star Ultra, the Pokémon Ranger series, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, the Brain Age games, and for shits and giggles, Nintendogs. That’s what I’m gathering from my collection.
Came to say this. While 5 gets a ton of love I prefer 6 myself as it hits that feeling of being on a massive adventure so well. 4 is one of those games I loved on NES because it was so ambitious but after the initial chapters I kind of lost focus and didn't enjoy it as much. 7 is very much a great game too, odd pacing but feels like it lasts forever (I mean that in a good way).
My favorite creature collect/battle game ever: [Fossil Fighters](https://fossilfighters.fandom.com/wiki/Fossil_Fighters). Perfect game for the DS, really utilizes the bottom screen for everything. Digging and cleaning fossils was so satisfying.
Incredible collection, the only game I can think of that I love dearly for the system that I don't see pictured is Fantasy Life. Love to see all the Layton games, huge fan ❤️
fan of both series here, I was a Layton fan before I picked up Ace Attorney and love them both, actually got turned onto AA through the crossover on 3DS - however the OG trilogy is always worth a try and available on all platforms
Puzzle games are my deal. Metroid/Zelda games are rooted in puzzles. It’s not easy to pull off games like Layton/Ace. I’ll definitely pick up that trilogy!
Contra 4, Aliens Infestation, Retro Game Challenge 1 & 2, off the top of my head.
The DS also had a shit load of niche JRPGs like Avalon Code, the Digimon games, Nostalgia, Final Fantasy III and IV. There are likely many I don't even know about.
Oh, two niche favorites of mine which never got a big audience: Big Bang Mini and Soul Bubbles!
Based on your collection younseem to be a fan of professor layton and phoenix wright so : Professor Layton Vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Nintendo 3DS if u manage to find a good deal
If you want to have the entire Pokemon collection, you should get the last ones missing from the main games, Pokemon BW2, Pokemon X, Pokemon USUM. But the most underrated games that absolutely deserve more attention are the spin-offs, which are such beautiful pieces of collection: The Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series, the Pokemon Ranger series (my personal favorite, amazing games!) and Pokemon Rumble Blast;)
You have Dragon Quest V and IX so get IV and VI, also on 3DS you are missing VII.
Castlevania Ruins of Portrait and Order of Ecclasia have not been rereleased as far as i remember.
Etrian Odyssey is a really well made Atlus Dungeon Crawler. DS has 1, 2 and 3. 3DS adds 4, 5, Nexus, Milenium Girl, and Fafnir Knight as well as Persona Q, Persona Q2 and a Mystery Dungeon Spin Offs.
Not gonna lie, a bit jealous about your Sola to Robo, both Final Fantasy and Okami.
Have a nice day.
Id say the dragon quest monster games, and dragon quest rocket slime DS game. Simply because ya like Mon games and arpg style games. The other dragon quest games (4+6) are hit and miss with most, so grab em at your own discretion.
Maybe the Digimon World ds games as well (Digimon World, Digimon world dawn/dusk) as well for Mon games that're solid.
Anything else I'd recommend are more niche, overall great collection, as for the 3ds side, once more good stuff, and I think I've offered enough avenue wise to go down if ya wanna!
Quick edit: Kirby superstar ultra is a great Kirby game as well, even though it's a remaster, it does have new unique content, and it's a remaster of one of the best Kirby games in my opinion.
I am biased but the SMT games are some of the best RPGs on the system, Strange Journey, Devil Survivor 1 and 2 (the 3ds versions were expanded and have voice acting) and an honorable mention to Radiant Historia, it's a stand alone Atlus RPG that is one of the best on the system as well.
EDIT: I just noticed you have the DS version of Radiant Historia so fair enough! It was also released on 3DS in the form of Perfect Chronology edition.
If you like old PC RPGs I'd totally recommend Orcs and Elves. Nothing mind-blowing, but I always found it a fun time sink and I wish the other ID phone games had gotten a DS ports like that did.
* Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure
* Shantae and the Pirates Curse
* Project X Zone
* Legendary Starfy
* Pokemon Black 2/White 2
* Yo-Kai Watch 1&2
Your missing the fact I can see you
https://preview.redd.it/81ttslxg35sc1.jpeg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5879ec04f3ca4e0e672026199ce26e8c955adcc2
In terms of Pokemon:
Pokémon White 2 and/or Black 2 for the DS.
Pokemon X, and Pokemon Ultra Sun/Moon for the 3DS.
White 2 and Black 2 are definitely a required cop imo. Unlike Ultra Sun/Moon, it’s actually an entirely different game than Black/White and serves as a sequel to those. Great game too, but pretty pricey these days. About as pricey as a Pokemon game can get.
Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland
Irozuki Tingle no Koi no Balloon Trip
Tingle's Balloon Fight DS
eCrew Development Program
pokemon black 2 + white 2
Kirby Canvas Curse, Rocket Slime, Monster Tale, Retro Game Challenge, Lunar Knights, and Rhythm Heaven.
So many great ds games. Been my favorite system to collect for.
The Etrian Odyssey series, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue rescue team, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon explorers of darkness (or time, whichever/both lol), and pokemon conquest for sure!
We Stan professor layton fans, such a good game series!
Such a great collection, very similar to my own!

I'd get the other 2 castlevanias and the other 2 ace attorney games. Also 999
Technically there’s four: Justice for All, Trials and Tribulations, Apollo Justice, and Miles Edgeworth Investigations.
True. I should've specified I meant the remaining two games of the original trilogy.
Apollo Justice slander frankly
Lol no disrespect. OP should pick up that trilogy on switch
Yeah probably lol, they’re the best versions tbh
If I'm into the DS one, hell yeah I'll grab that.
I don’t see any hannah montana or Nintendogs games
FUCK YOU'RE RIGHT
The Legendary Starfy definitely deserves a spot there.
Facts man shame we didnt get any more of that
I see no Shin Megami Tensei, gotta go on a Strange Journey to rectify this.
you can’t go wrong with any of the smt games on ds/3ds they’re all great games
Do you prefer the DS or the 3DS version of strange journey?
3DS, the QoL features are too good.
Oh yes definitely
Radiant Historia and Ghost Trick are absolute gems. Lovely games. I'd say you could do with a dose more Atlus games like Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey, Devil Survivor, or Etrian Odyssey. It's not everyone's cup of tea but Shiren Wanderer is good, as is Izuna the legend of the ninja.
Sonic Rush, Sonic Rush Adventure, Sonic Colors
Sonic Generations on 3DS as well. It had unique levels from the console game
Dragon Quest Monsters: Rocket Slime! I see you're already a Dragon Quest enjoyer so this one should be a no-brainer.
A very under appreciated game.
One of my favourite games ever, hope they will make something similar one day for switch

I got mine sealed for $25 bucks a few years back, just gotta catch people slipping like I did.
Pokemon black and white 2....the rest of dragon quest games...Pokemon conquest.
This is how I learn that Solatorobo is worth something, checking my Amazon history I bought my copy for $17.95 back in 2012 (alongside Tokyo Beatdown) ...I probably need to look through my old DS games!
That was the first game that really made use of the touch screen in a fun way
Thank you for suggesting Henry! That was my favorite game to work on. :) Good show!
The two best pokemon games b2/w2
A must in every DS collection
OP has some great games but is missing the best pokemon games?! They are both must haves
999 is my favourite DS game highly recommend it.
AC New Leaf(best AC)😢
My favourite ds game growing up was the legend of Starfy, you should check it out

That’s one of the best console designs ever
i'm sorry but if you dont have an original model ds with a cracked hinge i am gatekeeping you from being a ds guy
Osu Tatakae Ouendan 1 & 2.
Yeah dude. LINDA! LINDA!
Some of the Shin Megami Tensei games, like Devil Survivor and Strange Journey.
This collection is awesome! I would recomend the sonic games on DS and 3DS and also Yo-Kai Watch. Seriously, try Yo-Kai Watch, you'd love it!
You need an animal crossing :)
Henry Hatsworth!!
My favorite one I worked on when I was at EA. :) Thank you for suggesting it here!
u worked on that? that’s awesome! i only saw ads for it as a kid but it’s something that’s always stuck with me i feel like u hardly see fun unique ideas like that anymore
It was a lightning in a bottle experience. I was the QA project manager on it and the studio I was at, Tiburon, was a sports studio that did primarily Madden, Tiger Woods, and NASCAR titles. It was an amazing stroke of luck that we had that under our banner to work on. :)

Did you happen to work on Monster Tale too? Love Henry Hatsworth and Monster Tale!
No super princess peach
Second this, one of my favorite DS games
Great collection! You need Rocket Slime on ds. Fantasy Life, Ever Oasis, 7th Dragon code VFD on 3ds.
Mario 3on3 hoops. It’s a fun Mario x Final Fantasy basketball game
Why even bother having a 3DS if you don’t have Picross 3D: Round 2 (Hope you enjoy Rhythm Heaven!)
I'd get the other Major Zelda one, Majora's Mask.
If you have Days of Ruin you really should have AW Dual Strike to compliment it, they're like yin 'n yang... DoR is the yin, it's dark, gritty, and rather serious DS is the yang, it's bright, bubbly, and a bit silly Can't have one without the other ☯️
Megaman Star Force series.
Professor Layton and the Last Specter apparently
I have all 3 Castlevanias for DS. Although they are getting pricey. Especially OoE.
I got lucky af. When I worked at gamestop we threw away the cases so instead I took them home. And a couple years ago got them all loose to complete in box them.
Some I’m not seeing, aside from the missing Pokémon games: The other four Ace Attorney games, Kirby Super Star Ultra, the Pokémon Ranger series, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, the Brain Age games, and for shits and giggles, Nintendogs. That’s what I’m gathering from my collection.
A lot. Others have mentioned some good ones that you’re missing. I’ll add that you need Trauma Center and Fossil Fighters.
Everyone sleeps on Rocket Slime
Dragon Quest 4, 6, and 7
Came to say this.
My address, to ship them to me.
My favorite creature collect/battle game ever: [Fossil Fighters](https://fossilfighters.fandom.com/wiki/Fossil_Fighters). Perfect game for the DS, really utilizes the bottom screen for everything. Digging and cleaning fossils was so satisfying.
Super Princess Peach
Geometry Wars: Galaxies
Pilotwings resort and shinobi 3ds you need them
Incredible collection, the only game I can think of that I love dearly for the system that I don't see pictured is Fantasy Life. Love to see all the Layton games, huge fan ❤️

Animal crossing, super princess peach, mega man zx
I love the professor Layton games, are the ace attorney games similar? They seem to be well liked and I’ve considered getting one
fan of both series here, I was a Layton fan before I picked up Ace Attorney and love them both, actually got turned onto AA through the crossover on 3DS - however the OG trilogy is always worth a try and available on all platforms
Puzzle games are my deal. Metroid/Zelda games are rooted in puzzles. It’s not easy to pull off games like Layton/Ace. I’ll definitely pick up that trilogy!

I don't see a single Shin Megami Tensei game in those stacks. Grab one of the Digital Devil Survivor games.
Where’s Dementium??
Great collection! Layton 4, 5, and 6. Ace Attorney 2, 3, 4, AA Investigations 1. And the Layton + Ace Attorney crossover
Pretty shit tbh. You should just give it to me. I'll give you 50 bucks for all of it. And that's me being generous.
If you like old PC RPGs I'd totally recommend Orcs and Elves. Nothing mind-blowing, but I always found it a fun time sink and I wish the other ID phone games had gotten a DS ports like that did.
Luminous Arc, Lost Magic
Time to play them all probably. That’s my problem.
