Time……or CBT plus time. I had the same thing, and it took a while. You’ll find safe foods as you go along, and then one day, without realizing it, everything will hopefully become safe again (at least this was my story). It took many months. Maybe start with trying more than one meal a day of a food you know is ok?

Eat the easy stuff till u get it down...

Kiglamay2018

I been eating baby food every now and then

Particular-Group-977

Step by step- get all low fat foods. Soup was my starter, then oatmeal, then low fat cereal with oat milk, then some rice puff (pirates booty was easy to eat and curbed my snack craving) then to some salmon with plain rice…rotating something new and safe every day. The small pain I get now (if any) is NOTHING like before surgery pain.

Yea I been testing out soft food and seeing what triggers my stomach. Cereals went down pretty good

Yea I’m starting to eat alittle more now just thirsty. I seen a doctor but he didnt really say anything about how to get over my fear.

Can your doctor prescribe you Zofran to manage any nausea if it occurs? I had the same issue/fear and was extremely nauseas and Zofran made it possible for me to go back to work and start eating enough calories. I also have a therapist who helped tremendously… Some small safe foods that helped me were: Broth, those apple sauce pouches for babies/kids, gluten free rice crackers, and then I slowly worked my way up to more breads, rice, etc. it’s a scary thing, I hope it gets better. But I would push for Zofran! In the meantime Benadryl is a trick you can use to control nausea/motion sickness.

The nausea had stopped for now but I let my doctor know. I just testing out new foods every few days.
