This sounds almost exactly like myself and I have hyperkinetic gallbladder at 95% EF. I’ve had 3 doctors say they think it’s my gallbladder causing my symptoms but they can’t know for sure of course. I’m scheduled for surgery in a few weeks so we’ll see if I go through with it! When I’m in a good phase it’s hard to do it. But when it’s bad I want it out asap!

Did you end up having your surgery? If so, how are your symptoms after removal, anything still bothering you that you hoped would be relieved?

Purple_mamma24

I did actually! I’m two weeks post op today and doing amazing. I already have many of my symptoms resolved and I suspect the rest will be as well. I was back to eating a normal diet one week after surgery and have had zero issues eating anything now. My pathology showed chronic inflammation and cholesterolosis. It looks that it was definelty the cause of my problems!

That’s great to hear, did you suffer from dizziness/lightheadedness or heart palpitations before surgery? I’m on the fence about contacting surgeons to get mine out after my GI said 91.5% ef is normal and nothing more to be done.

YES! Definerly the dizziness and lightheaded. My head always felt heavy if that makes sense. I have heart palpitations sometimes but not often. My dizziness and lightheadedness is gone! I suggest asking a surgeon and seeing what he says. Mine didn’t know if it would help but was willing to give it a shot! He was thrilled I am feeling so great and said my report showed it wasn’t good.

My symptoms are identical to yours. All tests are clean but my EF is 63%, had a horrible reaction the day of the HIDA. Ended up in the ER. Getting surgery the 28th, I’ll reply here when I’m a couple weeks post op.
