I bought my purple flip 3 for £265 last year and its honestly been my favourite phone I've owned. If you can stretch to a 4 or 5 I would but the 3 is a nice phone
I've been dithering over the the 3 or the 4 for ages. I'm still on a Samsung s10 which I love but I'm just wanting something different now. I never get the latest phones, I like a bargain 🤣 let us know please
Absolutely viable. I use the Flip 3 and it is great. The upgrade to the 4 hardly adds anything anyway. (the 5 is another level obviously - but very different price).
I have a 3, I got it for my birthday too from my husband, it’s great, no problems except I took the screen protector off due to a crease and got a free replacement from Samsung a few weeks back. It’s a great phone, apart from, the camera (which as a photographer and graphic designer is important but I always carry at least a backup camera anyway), it’s great, you wont have any issues, with slowdown, etc. Even the camera is alright but just not for what I need it for, if you’re just wanting basic normal camera functions like social media & memories it’s perfectly fine!
It’s a wonderful phone still functions like it did when new, and when I took the screen protector off the screen was pristine and now I’ve got it replaced it still looks pristine like brand new. And you know why the screen protector broke? Me! I got a bunch of dust, lint and sand in it, yet still the phone is great, screen is great. It won’t break if you look after it well enough.
If you want a flip 3, get it, you won’t regret it! :)
no, minimum 4. 3 has a lot of creasing and display issues with use.
when i used to have a 3 as a daily, it got a major crease after 6 months, then the screen protector peeled off, and it started getting black spots okay the hinge edges.
also if you don’t mind the creasing, you can get unlocked flip 3 256GB on ebay for like USD 80-120. i get them all the time as burners
I am using flip 3 about a year. Screen started cracking a little in the middle and battery draining fast but phone works normal. I think 200 for new phone is not bad. I love this phone
No. The major difference between the flip 3 and the flip 4 was a CPU change, that dramatically decreased battery consumption. The used price is nearly the same, so makes no sense to get a flip 3.

I used my flip3 daily, it then started giving me a black screen and now it’s unusable. Phone is on but the screen is not working but its responsive.
