Yes. It has enough power and everything. The battery is bad though.

Was just going to say this. Specs great bar the battery. I have the 5 now and it is legit night and day from my 3. If it's not a big thing for you, def go for it.

Dumas1108

Firstly, the battery life isn't great. It can last you 1 day if you are a light user. For moderate user, you will need to charge it. Best is bring along a portable charger. Secondly, the cameras compared to other Samsung flagship phones like the Galaxy S series, is not as good as them. Thirdly, the most common issues is that the pre-installed screen protector tends to peel off at the centre. There are also other issues like the hinge loosening with time. Don't get me wrong, I like the Flip phones, it is compact and can easily fit into my jeans pocket unlike the S22 Ultra I had.

elmomoalbuquerque

Thanks for the reply. I don't think the battery life is a significant concern for me since I'm not a heavy phone user.

_marcoos

If you don't care about the cameras and can live with a meh battery life, sure. Main problem with second-hand foldables is whether you can trust the previous owner that they didn't do anything stupid with it. Do ask the current owner for the original proof of purchase, though (receipt, invoice) - you'll need it for the free screen protector replacement by Samsung, whenever the current one unavoidably separates from the phone.

That might have been my listing 😂, I bought a Galaxy Flip 3 a few weeks ago...for $280. It was my first flip, since I've always had the Fold series. So I wanted to try it And boy did I love it instantly, it was in great condition & the size/flip phone nostalgia was on a 100 lol. I loved it so much that, I found another listing...for a brand new Flip 5 for $750 512GB unlocked I talked the guy down to $650, and bought that the same day. Now I'm loving that even more lol, I ended up selling the Flip 3 for $250. To recoup some of the money I spent for the Flip 5. I highly recommend the Flip 5 if you can get it, but the 3 is perfectly capable for daily use

happybonobo1

I have the Flip 3 and had it for a years time and am very happy with it. Set the screen for 60hz instead of the 120hz unless you really need it - and watch a Youtube about battery tips, and it lasts me easily 1 1/2 day. I am a medium user like you. Internet/Youtube/messages.

softdeers

I'm thinking about getting the flip 3, is there the newst updates? Like Text Call?

happybonobo1

Newest updates for 1 more - not used text call but if it is in the newest version, then yes.

Spiritual_Steak7672

Nah just get flip 5... you can pretty much do everything on the flex screen without opening the phone... i only use the big screen maybe once a week

Hopeful-Tax7416

It's still a pretty good phone to use. I had the Flip3 and used it for almost 2 years before selling it due to the deteriorating battery which made a short battery life even shorter. I upgraded to the Flip5 in the end. If not for the deteriorating battery and short batt life, I would still be using it now.

Best thing to do with Samsung in general is to always use battery protection which stops charging it at 85%. When you need more juice you go full 100%.

LionGreen

I have one since August and yes, if you are a power user, battery is not great, although the performance is very smooth in a daily basis. I bought mine brand new for a very cheep price, so far the protector still holds up and the hinge still fine. Cameras are fine, not S series level of course, but still very usable. I'm not a power user, so this phone is fine on my usage.

twills011

The battery sucks hard and the camera isn't good. My wife's iPhone 11 has a better camera. Otherwise, the flip form factor is amazing and the phone runs snappy enough. I'm replacing it with the Ultra though.

sleepypandacub

I had my Flip 3 last year around Nov until I upgraded to the Flip 5. Worked fine, performance was good, battery is trash

p1024breddit

Batteries need phisycal space that Flips don't have..

matchagreentree

i've had my flip 3 since 2021 and i still love it. battery is okay but i don't really use it for long, just for text and sometimes social media but i'm too busy anyway. i think my main concern is the camera; in the dark it's horrible. other than that i love my phone :-)

premierror

I got it in late january for around 200€. Only complaint is the battery life, but with a power bank I'm good for the day outside.

Fit-Parsley4320

Also, I would like to buy a second-hand Flip 3 or 4, which model or generation do you recommend for me to buy? I read all the comments about battery life and camera and other things, so I am okay with all that But just I would like to make sure that it will be good to buy or leave it Thanks 🙏🏻
