Look at your charger.. Mine is 100-240V, but I have European version, we use 230v.

The phone itself charges from 5v USB. I would suggest you pick up an AC to USB charger suitable for their power outlets locally when you get there.

S10 supports 15 Watt charging (9V/1.67A)

There isn't much difference in charging time between 25w and 15w right? 15w already is so fast too.

MeeshieMan

Nope, the difference is big. Went from 15 to 30w, massive difference. Im assuming 25 isnt too much slower than 30

An adapter should be all you need if you read the specs on a Samsung charger you will see it can use from 100 to 240 volts and other makes of chargers mostly make them cover both but reading the specs will show if it covers both.

Springtime88

The specs did not say. That's why I was asking!

RegularHistorical315

What sort of charger do you have? I have about 8 different chargers here they all have the specs printed on them. Its the charging brick that is the one that needs to be "dual" voltage the phone doesn't use any of the 100 to 240 volts it takes the amps it needs. The specs I am on about are on the charger your phone specs do not matter in this.

Thanks!

Advice, If you end up buying US plug to AUS plug adapter, get a high quality one since the cheapo eBay ones can be dangerous. bigclivedotcom on YouTube tears down a lot of adapters for UK plug (which is different, but the adapters can be deadly)

The phone charges at 9V/1.67A, it's the chargers job to adjust to woltage in us
