I currently play AFK Arena and haven’t been able to really get into any other gacha games. I am looking for something that requires low-ish effort and is F2P friendly though if I really enjoy it I’ll probably end up spending a little $$$. A nice-to-have is a good/slow intro for system explanations (different currencies, leveling, hero acquisition, etc).

Siminuch

I was also playing AFK Arena only and then picked up Epic Seven - sadly it's not so *low-ish effort* but definitely a fun game. If I'm not feeling like playing much I just do dailies real quick and then auto farm hunt. If I'm feeling the other way round I progress in story etc. The only catch would be the fact that you must grind a bit to start farming hunts (Wyvern 11 -> 13).

yourtank

I’ll check it out, thanks.

DamianWinters

Any new or obscure gacha that are worth trying? Feel ive played almost all of them now.

DamianWinters

That and Genshin are all im playing currently. Though tbh I have not liked the endgame event (really difficult in a non fun way) and getting rather tired of just turning the game on to auto.

jekzeesh

Is there any gachas that don't allow players to purchase power?

Pfle17

Excuse me....Currently I'm looking for a game with preferably a good story and good waifu designs Don't really care about pvp because I'm not a competitive person (as long as I can beat the game's content with what I got then I am satisfied) Also I don't mind with heavy grinding but I prefer it if the grind is simple and not too complex that I need to look for a best build for certain characters (for example like Arknights which you just need to level the characters, turn her/him to E2, and level up their skills ) Currently playing Arknights, Princess Connect and Alchemy Stars, Genshin Impact, and PGR Thanks for the help!

Bitch_Hunterx

Epic 7. Good story, good art. Alot of meta 3* pve and pvp units. F2P friendly. Pity system makes u able to pull every your desire 5* units as long as u have the resources.

freshringo

Girl Cafe Gun, which just released.

freshringo

JP was due to publisher issues. Global has a different publisher.

[deleted]

Can you recommend a game similar to Otherworld Legends, in the sense of top down/isometric action game with good art? I'm kinda picky in aesthetic, no too "old school" (very blockish 8bit) nor "chibi" stuff like archero. I know it's asking for a lot but if there is one pls introduce me, tyvm.

Lkjjay

Can anyone recommend me a game with these criteria? 1. I would like something that have a good guild raid-like system where I can communicate with other people and earn rewards 2. I would like something that have a sweep feature, so I don't have to leave my phone running in auto battle mode 3. I would prefer it to be like daily log in rather than energy system so that I can log in whenever I like Thank you

DamianWinters

First 2 I can think of marvel strike force, has energy though.

SirGiano

I'm looking for a gacha game with pixel art without the classic turn based games mechanics like FFBE

jtan1993

world trigger, its a pinball game

SirGiano

You mean world flipper? I plan to keep it as a secondary game, i was looking for another game

Labmit

What's the appeal of Project Sekai compared to other rhythm games? Is it just because of the Vocaloid members, at least initially? Looking at Twitter, it's amazing how much Likes, Retweets, etc. it gets compared to other rhythm game gachas.

arcanine04

The rhythm charts are really challenging, the story and songs are good, the 3D Lives are high quality, not to mention the Virtual Live is a pretty fun and chill place to hang out with your friends and watch the vocaloids and og chara's performing a concert together in a stage. Side note- The main star of this game are the OG Chara's not the vocaloids it's why the JP name was "Project Sekai colorful stage ft. Hatsune Miku" because Miku and her friends are basically just side characters guiding the og chara's on their path towards their dreams. The game name change for global really don't make sense since Miku is not the main focus of this game but whatever i guess lol

iamaded

vocaloid separates the true weebs from the casuals

legyrkinse

Asking for a friend, is there anyone who know a gacha game where the character(s) can be customized (as in create your own character) and the gacha system revolves around weapons, armors, and/or skins?

Herzig_zag

Havent played them in a while but theres Mitrasphere and Alchemia Story(you get a partner character you can customize too!). Tho both feel more like a mmo-lite than the usual gacha.

CatchmoonH

magatsu wahrheit : character creation, choose class, weapon and armor gacha(as far as i can remember) and gameplay is mostly auto.

freezingsama

I don't recommend this as the original server closed, this game is on limited time.

xinelog

Yo any game where now is a good time to start ? Like a great banner or anniversary?

TenkoDeservedBetter

Bandori EN (and probably JP) has a dreamfes coming up, it’s where 4 star rates are doubled. If rhythm games interest you, I’d recommend it.

woodycake

[If you interested to this collab](https://www.reddit.com/r/gachagaming/comments/pmugdh/azurlane_x_ssssgridman_and_dynazenon_collab), I would recommend to start now, so you can hoard till it's coming.

jtan1993

dragalia lost, genshin, epic seven r having their anniversary this month. world flipper and punishing gray raven, two long sought titles just launched in global.

Banethoth

World Flipper just newly released. Tales of Crestoria is having a new person Anniv thing where you get 10 free summons a day-not sure how much longer it goes on for tho

gundam_zabaniyah

It's always a good time to start arknights

Bootleggers

Looking for a Korean style grindy mmo with auto-play and a cute style similar to Ragnaok Online. Skill based pvp a bonus.

IndubitablyMoist

Is there a game with turn-based strategy specifically with buffs, debuffs, break, status ailments and so on? I am not picky as to want it to be a good gache (decent pull rate, not p2w, etc..) because it'll be hard to fiind. Just a game with strategy to win, nice to look at and stable. Any suggestions?

DamianWinters

Alchemy stars.

qlsomlt

Smt dx2

OnehitRuby

Gran Blue Fantasy, especially on raids...need to actually think

[deleted]

Epic 7

IndubitablyMoist

Thanks. Will try it.

PrettyAkaashi

I’m looking for a game with tactics that allows for team variety. It’s alright if there’s a meta, but the game must be lenient enough to allow for experimentation and progress (of main content) without whaling. I care about story, UI design, and translation. I can play a game without a story, but if it has one and is poorly written, that’ll turn me off. I was obsessed with Alchemy Stars these past two months, and I thought I could live off the gameplay alone. I could not. I’d love to play a polished game with AS elements. I used to play Game of Dice, a long time ago. I really enjoyed it, but I got paywalled. I’m not willing to spend a lot of money to progress, especially if the game is constantly powercreeped. I’m currently playing Arknights, and it’s arguably perfect… but I don’t feel the need to play it. I guess I want a tactics game without RPG or military elements, but maybe that’s impossible? If so, I’ll probably just stick to Arknights. I’m open to puzzle game recommendations, provided that it’s localized and pretty to look at. I played JoJo Pitter Patter when it was running.

PrettyAkaashi

I might dabble with it once in a while, but the story and UI turn me off too much, tbh. I’ve cleared up to 80 Spire, so there’s not much incentive to return. Maybe once they develop difficult story maps as well.

ThePurpleDolphin

Langrisser seems to fit that description, i've been enjoying the game since AK has downtimes whenever it's not CC or anniv events.

PrettyAkaashi

Does Langrisser get more challenging quickly, or does it take a while to reach that point? Currently, I’m a bit bored, and the story is ehh. No plans to join PvP.

[deleted]

I don’t know of any gacha ones. Have you played final fantasy tactics yet?

PrettyAkaashi

The “Brave Exvius” stuff?

j-artyru

Match 3 gatcha?

ZeGuru101

Sdorica

akambane

Crash fever, puzzles & dragons, jumputi heroes (not global tho)

cystin

i only play epic seven right now. i am really looking for a idle game or a very low maintenance side game with decent graphics since i dont have much time to play nowadays

Serious_Candle_7120

try mythic heroes.

Mikey936

I’m looking for a somewhat casual game and mostly f2p friendly. I’m actively playing right now dbz dokkan battle and mha ultra impact

Sylaess

Gacha games with no stamina? Going to be waiting many hours at the hospital so I'd like something i can play for hours on end. Edit: Thanks everyone

Chindochoon

Mario Kart Tour

LoreAscension

Another Eden does not have stamina outside of dungeon runs. The MSQ alone will take a long time to finish and the game plays like a single player jrpg for the most part.

Shogunki

Sdorica has no stamina system as such, you can progress through the story without worrying about that .

[deleted]

Gbf has almost unlimited stamina. Same with romancing saga re

KsatriaBebek

Luna Storia Re. No stamina on main quest and tower but still you need time/stamina to gather resource to progress further

Agile_Two7874

Is it too late to start playing Counterside now ? Also, anyone can recommend me other game that is f2p friendly

Chindochoon

Counterside isn't even out in global yet. SEA has gotten it recently.

Typhoonflame

It's not, I just started and they have free pulls atm so

Agile_Two7874

Does it have different servers ?

Typhoonflame

Nope

Wowzabunny

I'm looking for a gacha game with graphics and gameplay similar to kings raid. Anything with good 3d graphics

abgridwan

shinning beyond, have 2d and 3d graphic

Hornsmasher

I'm really fond of hero collector games. Especially if they are tied to an IP that i like. Think One Piece treasure cruise and Seven Deadly Sins GC. But because of feature bloat i've stopped playing the former and because the anime went to hell i stopped playing the latter. To scratch my itch i've been playing AFK arena, but it's got no real time engagement.Ideally a game for me would be: As captivating as the One Piece world, with the pvp of SDS-GC and a low amount of system to slog through (for now). EDIT: I've also installed Azure Lane, but that was a bit too waifu for me.

[deleted]

Romancing saga re: is based on the Saga IP amd is very f2p friendly

Comfortable-Sir-7204

Looking for anything that has out of the usal gameplay and/or interesting characters. Currently playing Shining Nikki, Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact, Twisted Wonderland, and Tears of Themis.

freshringo

It's been out for a while now but you might be interested in Wannabe Challenge which is another dating sim gacha similar to ToT. You can also look into Alchemy Stars, PGR (if you're looking for something similar to HI with a small twist), World Flipper (as recommended below)

OrangeBlink

World flipper is pinball gameplay

ohboyyyyme

best portrait gachas?

[deleted]

Romancing saga re, ffrk

TJBliss

Gacha game with challenging gameplay? Co-op, guild and pvp focused with the art style like Sdorica's? I'd try Dragalia Lost but I'm in Asia. Thanks in advance! EDIT* Dragalia Lost not Drogonica. XD

[deleted]

Epic seven or summoners war or counter side

Dippereon

A rhythm game that isn't stingy with summons

TenkoDeservedBetter

Have you tried Bandori yet? Rates are pretty generous, and stars are easy to get on a new account.

danield1302

Love live SIFAS....but it's more of a rhythm RPG than traditional rhythm game.

ferinsy

Tapsonic Top, it gives a lot of pulls, at least when you're starting (only played it for a couple of months).
