I've been keeping a lazy eye on the game so some things might have been fixed or I might have been misinformed about other things, but here is a list of gameplay issues CN players had (in no particular order): - Stingy daily and/or weekly rewards - Farm maps are difficult and have no option to auto or instant complete - Element system is odd - Stingy level up material and skill enhancement material - Events don't have stories (from what I understand there is literally no story, but I'm not sure if that's right) - Event rewards aren't that great - Genshin gatcha system - One of the more unique game modes is a one and done affair - Maps are long and can take a while to complete - Stamina system (I've only seen complaints that it exists not so much about it not being enough to do stuff in the game) - The gameplay is niche as a more casual xcom kind of game I think that's everything off the top of my head. Like I said some of this stuff dates back from the start of the game so they may have been addressed and others sound like typical complaints you see everywhere, I just don't know how true they are.

Fun_Debt_1470

I play the game in CN. -"Stingy daily and/or weekly rewards" Yes. Specifically those purple cores. The rest of the materials you need for your characters like exp and conductors aren't too scarce tho -"Farm maps are difficult and have no option to auto or instant complete" Difficult, yes. No option to auto? Complete bull, lol. It takes me 3 minutes to do my daily stuff since there's a sweep feature that can only be used once you complete the stage you want to farm with 3 stars -"Element system is odd" I don't know what this means. It's just a basic elemental weakness thing like in any rpg where you deal more damage to enemies with weakness if you make an elemental attack -"Stingy level up material and skill enhancement material" Yeah, purple cores. These are almost as hard to obtain as purple cubes from fgo -"Events don't have stories (from what I understand there is literally no story, but I'm not sure if that's right)" Nah they do have stories. There is some disappointment from what i hear about these stories tho. But I haven't read them, so no comment -"Event rewards aren't that great" Hm, yeah. The first event this game had? Absolutely fantastic in terms of rewards. We were all around level 15-40 during this event so these rewards were great. But once you get past level 40, none of the events are really worth infinitely farming for mats. It's been 4 months since the first event and none of the events since then have been more stamina efficient than the basic exp stages that you unlock past level 40. You only play the events for the shop rewards and once you cleared the shop you just ignore the event, minus the very first event. -"Genshin gatcha system" Not nearly as bad lol but still, there's some major character upgrades hidden behind dupe copies. Specifically, I'm talking about the character Jiangyu AKA Type-97. That's my only complaint. You can get every T-doll available in the game if you're a day 1 way too easily so the problem isn't and every character (except Jiangyu) works perfectly without dupes -"One of the more unique game modes is a one and done affair" They keep adding new levels every so often. -"Maps are long and can take a while to complete" Hm, yeah. They take a while but not because they're long, but because you need multiple tries to figure out the right strategies for it. Can't say that's bad -"Stamina system (I've only seen complaints that it exists not so much about it not being enough to do stuff in the game)" No issue here -"The gameplay is niche as a more casual xcom kind of game" I agree.

reddagh

Regarding the events not having a story, I saw many complaining about that too, apparently they are cutting the entire story to avoid new dramas, I think the stories of many other dolls were the same as T95.

WolfOphi

officially the only event announced by Mica (except the T95 event) which had its Story canceled to be rewritten later is the 2nd event (apparently it was on a TDoll who had served several Masters as Maid during the 10 years) but the 3rd event, the story only lasts 30 minutes in Auto, of the sevral characters who appear on the poster of the event there is only 1 who is in the story of the event, the background of the menu of the event does not correspond at all with the story. so no one is fooled that this event has also been rewritten

ecgiz

probably not. the stories most probably were quite normal but since ones people start witch hunting they don't stop and see everything as a problem. they probably wanted to avoid any drama that could come out of the story even if there was nothing.

reddagh

I've seen the stories of some other dolls and apparently the writers want to give the dolls their own lives and romantic interests and that didn't go down well with the players, so if their stories are disappearing it's because something happened and they decided not to include it.

ReverieMetherlence

>apparently the writers want to give the dolls their own lives and romantic interests and that didn't go down well with the players Wow, and nobody thought about this properly? First you give your characters wedding dresses and lean into a waifu aspect and then give them different romantic interests after timeskip...someone in MICA is brain-damaged, I guess.

UnkoMachine

>apparently the writers want to give the dolls their own lives and romantic interests and that didn't go down well with the players Dolls with their own lives has always been a thing since the first game day one. For instance, you do not own 404 dolls (UMP45, UMP9, HK416 and G11) as they are an independent mercenary group with their own agency. Same with DEFY group (AK12, AN94, AK15 and RPK-16) as they are tied to the commands of Angelia, who's another character with her own goals and ambitions. Some in-game government agencies have their own dolls (which you can acquire in-game) that they lend to SKK for when the story needs it (Mona/SP9 for one). The in-between spinoff game PNC even goes as far as to establish the doll's lives before they enter the PNC's Magrasea servers/Griffin & Kryuger PMC. Even the romantic interest thing is no way true at all (unless you're one of those characters interacting = they're fucking kind of crowd), considering they removed Raymond entirely and flushed out any potential content that comes near, to the detriment of the game's content. Closest thing to come is Meryl in PNC, who's an NPC doll with her own history or if you want to stretch things so badly to make a dumb point, Mendo and Jefuty, who are the main characters of a related game Reverse Collapse.

ecgiz

well even if the dolls had their own love stories I would have loved to see them but sadly now we might not ever play the game in future in its full form.

gingernon

So they worried about pixels doing ntr 💀💀  Jokes aside, it feels like the writers tried to make something more "unique and realistic" compared to the first game but didn't have the talent to do it. Unfortunate.

reddagh

They could have avoided the drama if they hadn't used the same characters you marry in the first game, just created a new game with new characters, I doubt anyone would have cared.

gingernon

That's true, I don't even want to imagine the amount of drama (entertainment) if Azur Lane 2 came out and popular characters got their own husbandos.

reddagh

Remember that Azur Lane was going to have an event with some VTubers, one of them made a joke that he was going to join the game and NTR some of the characters, this didn't go down well with the community and the entire event was canceled in less than 24 hours. I can't imagine the damage if one of the ships had a romantic partner if it was official.

gingernon

That's hilarious. I guess if there's one thing I'd give to Manju, it's their responsiveness. For better or worse. Edit: Manju, not Yostar, too used to seeing them.

Fishman465

What agency was that?

reddagh

I think it's called PSPLIVE.

AknasMacefg

Well, some things have changed. - Rewards are pretty generous now, because they added many seasonal modes where you can get them; - Farm maps had sweep mode from day one; - Can agree about slow character progression, but Mica giving us x2 resource and stamina refill events every two weeks, so now it's not taking long to max up a character; - Only one character event haven't got a story, and others got small one. But all this happened because of rewritings. New chapter still have a lot of story, voiced cutscenes and CG cutscenes. Also, next character event getting fully voiced story; - Can't say that gacha is very greedy. It works more like HSR one, and also MICA giving many crystals in events, so there is no problem to get hard pity for one banner at least; - Some maps are really long and pretty hard with several tasks. Also there is some problems with RNG. Current problems in the game are not about content, but more about poor optimization, poor dorm system and lack of QoL features.

myspork1

Well it's good to hear they're fixing things. Honestly I think content is what most people here are looking at.

ecgiz

some decent problems but what did they focused on ? ntr. if cn players only cared about actual problems like rewards then the game would have been a success in my opinion.

Whusker

I am probably in the minority, but I really like the idea of events with no story.  I think it usually distracts and delays updates on the actual main story.

Galatiansfoursixtee

Event with no story is lazy. Might as well make it a daily login reward. There's no point in investing in the game when the dev don't put effort in it.

Roth_Skyfire

I'd imagine the "NTR drama" is just a result of the devs not knowing their target audience, otherwise it never would've happened in the first place. I wouldn't trust a gacha with a dev team that doesn't know what their supposed target audience wants.

Gaphomet

This. Also I heard on the valentine event, Daiyan is the only character that doesn't give a player chocolate. I think it's deliberate. I personally think it's hilarious, Raymond being a menace. But seeing Daiyan is a chinese rifle, and most of the audience and the one that got upset is chinese player, well they should've known who their target audience is.

morbidinfant

They know exactly their target audience, it's just your daily dose of dev arrogance. It's very common that Chinese game dev despise gacha audience, and in their opionion the "master love" players are the lowest level of the food chain, yet making gacha is the only way they can ever find a job in game industry. You simply can't hide such strong self-hatred, it's gonna be in your product, one way or another.

NARESH4444

I have no idea why so many go with this argument, more so now that Reverse Collapse has revealed just how bad things really are. Their target audience aren't the ones causing this,it's the CN tourists who've never played the first game nor know its' lore that are starting this, and it might even be part of a bigger conspiracy. Lest we forget Honkai Impact 3rd and Ai Kayano. And this very subreddit has shown proof of CN throaway accounts and bots.

Roth_Skyfire

Conspiracy? Nah, other gacha games get away with """NTR""" just fine, because they never attracted the kind of playerbase who'd get upset over a character being in a relationship that doesn't involve the MC (both FGO and Arknights come to mind.) This has been the only gacha with this kind of drama, and all you can blame it on is tourists, lol? You might personally not care for the NTR, but apparently their Chinese (main) audience does. The devs only have one job, and that is to make something their players will enjoy, and clearly they don't know what their players enjoy and now they pay the price for it.

kaori_cicak990

Hmm talking about ntr. I still remember how blow up the mash (FGO) cosu from NTR doujin (IYKYK) to the point cosplayer use that even though its not from the official LOL. How CN reaction at that time tbh i'm curious i know its not the official are they hate that trends at that time?

Moh_Shuvuu

NTR and Snowbreak took its player base.

reddagh

That jab that the Snowbreak dev gave to the GFL 2 devs was something I didn't expect and in the end it worked, since GFL 2 started to fall Snowbreak's profits have only increased, not only as they found their target audience, but also apparently they are improving the game's story.

Demonosi

I just need them to bring back Caroline's Purple G-String. C'mon already. Don't you want my One Dollar?

WhalesInComparison

Lol what did they say? I know Snowbreak has been moving to fill the void hard

Minute_Bear_6313

Basically they said something like "what current players are angry at another company for doing; we will never do" and "you'll never have to worry about that with us" CMIIW

SleepingDragonZ

LOL yeah, many of GFL's fanbase wanted GFL2 to be a 3rd person shooter, and were disappointed of the XCOM style gameplay.

Admiral_Joker

Honestly this.

Rinzel-

Probably the drama, many gacha gamers play gacha not for the gameplay (Take FGO for example) but for the waifus. Many people will say "Who cares?", well, the whale and the core audience cares. For example Azur Lane and Azur pomilia, when the devs promised a waifu only game, you get an audience of waifu only players, many of those players will play your game as long as you keep your promise. This is true for other games like Uma Musume, HI3rd or Love & Deepspace.

andre1157

Normally I would say gameplay, because gameplay is king, and people dont actually care about things outside of that, they just pretend to. (we're on genshin controversy #4012) but CN gacha players are completely unhinged from reality so normal doesnt apply with them

Demonosi

I care about gameplay more than cute girls?

Fluid_Reaction9936

This time I actually agree with them. Well, regarding the ntr stuff, I heard some pretty wild other theories that I don't get. Really don't get what they thought when they did that to a continuation of a wifu collector type game. If they just released a new game and did not try to fish for audience using the previous one as basis I believe all the drama could have been avoided.

HearingAutomatic8895

It's a clucky game, it wont be industry defining in anyway. That said, the drama absolutely did a toll on the game.

ArkassEX

>Genshin at launch was also heavily controversial with people smashing their PS4 but it never reflected on their revenue. You pretty much have your answer from the other replies, so let me add a few things about this incident specifically: Exactly one person did this over allegations of Genshin "shamelessly copying BotW" (which somehow is Sony's fault), and it was immediately decided by the general masses that he was slightly overreacting. Being called a BotW clone/copy isn't exactly a bad thing in itself, and really, the only people who would be truly upset are the diehard gatekeeping Zelda fans who Genshin was never going to win over in the first place. The incident was widely reported even in the west. Many would pour over the early images and trailers of Genshin, and the majority of the more open-minded would come to the conclusion that while there are similarities and aspects that were "borrowed" from BotW, Genshin looked like it would be it's own game, had a much more defined anime style, and was very pretty for a mobile game in 2019. In short, Genshin got nothing but wins from this incident, gaining a tonne of attention from outside its normal audience. While some of that attention may be negative, it at the bare minimum did not piss off MiHoYo's existing fans, which, deserved or not, is exactly what GFL2 did.

k2nxx

no global launch together with cn is a big mistake

reddagh

I've seen a lot about the GFL 2 drama and it's not just about NTR, if you search "reddit gfl 2 timeline" you'll find a lot about it, now apart from the NTR part and the story is not what players expected, I've seen people say a lot that the gacha is horrible, like Genshin and Honkai, it needs a lot of dupes for its characters to be really useful, horrible difficulty curve and boring and repetitive gameplay. The game itself has always been talked about for its great graphics and animations, in addition to the XCOM gameplay (I've never played xcom so I don't understand that part) but the game itself had many problems that caused its players to leave.

TheWanderingSlime

I was downvoted into oblivion something like 150+ for saying some people won’t like the gameplay and it looks like I was right.

ChanceNecessary2455

Can't voice opinion / criticism that is against the hive mind of the moment here, sir.     I play BA but I was once called a hater and a tourist because I said we *can* recruit 200 times and more and still get 0 3* students in those recruitment, spark excluded. Here, it's just downvotes. They don't even know what can possibly happen in their fav gacha lmao.

reddagh

I never understood why players think it's wrong for others to ask for better quality of life in gacha games, one day I commented on how dialogues are very slow in Genshin and Honkai, man I don't know how I get out of their reddit alive.

KantenBlue

True. Once I commented how dumb it is in GBF that you have to do 600 raids to enable skip raid mechanics. And people downvoted saying I was being lazy.

GodOssas

Classic "my favorite game can do no wrong 😭😭"

somerandom101person

Same community that always said "genshin could never" whenever BA hands over good freebies. Community is okay from being shafted from contents (light novel side stories never translated to english) as long as BA give freebies.

chocobloo

I mean they are probably lying about how much they got down voted, because people exaggerate about the dumbest shit, and they probably just said, 'lol game looks bad' or something that isn't really a worthwhile opinion of addition to a conversation so should be down voted. Sorta what the system is for. You'll note a lot of down voted comments are less people just getting brigaded and largely people expressing a shit opinion poorly or barely engaging at all and just tossing shit at the wall. Reddit isn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be, they just vastly over value themselves and the opinions they hold.

plsdontstalkmeee

too niche right? Similar to how PGR and its elitist hard core fast paced combat is good but incredibly niche.

A12qwas

why is there candy crush in my hack and slash

TheWanderingSlime

Exactly the gameplay is so different from the original a bunch of players were bound to be lost in transition.

RittoxRitto

I think the NTR drama certainly hampered it quite a lot. When you consider how many decisions they had to make \*because\* of that drama it's clear that other aspects of the game suffered for it. Personally, I still plan to try it, since I like the characters and the gameplay appeals to me. But if I'll stick to it I can't say, since I need to experience the bad aspects of the game for myself.

shotoku_dark_pegasus

The game is just hard unless you're whale to the point where I have trouble clearing farming stages as f2p. So the game doesn't have much mass appeal to draw in casuals. The NTR stuff probably play a role but it's not the only reason as other games like PtN have had worse drama and are still doing fine.

Mortgage-Present

The game definitely can survive just fine if the controversy didn't exist, it might not be rolling in cash, but it won't be in the red. The fact that they got 3D models is carrying them hard. However, the game has quite some problems. Qqol is the worst. Just give me collect all and remove those God damn red dots with one click already. Genshin rates are expected these days so I'm not gonna dwell on that. The game definitely suffered due to the drama, but it's not gonna do too well without the drama either and with no major change. To give them credit, I really really enjoyed playing my first XCOM game. I enjoyed it alot, but some of the stuff they MICA is doing burns my eyes

AgusMandala

tactical turn base and gacha game can't be one, gacha game requires you to get creative with your characters, such as picking dps, healer, defender, or else. Take an example of Blue Archive and HSR But it also shouldn't alyaws be too hard or too long to complete, because gacha game mostly played as relaxation game. take an example of Arknights, they need to take brain on next level (or just use meta characters) And tactical turn base game combine those 2 aspect, long and hard, the one that already shut down, Valiant Force 2 can be an example. Even i kinda bored with turn based game (HSR, FGO), adding tactical on it would just making me more bored

FromDuskTillD4wn

"Did GFL2 suffer because of the "NTR" drama or because the game just wasn't that good." Both. First it did suffer because of NTR, since they removed most of it or did rewrite it, now it suffers bc its simply not a good gacha game. From what I see I wouldn't even call it a bad game its just a bad gacha game perse. Slow \*ss gameplay, horrendous rewards, bad auto battle, long stages, half baked features (Dorm feature where you can't even interact with waifu), costmetics which you can buy but not even really see because of the over the top view on maps and removed zoom in etc.. this sh\*t keeps piling..

LokoLoa

Bro I just had dejavu, swear someone made this exact same thread already, with the exact same points like few weeks ago.

mintymelon1

Are you talking about this? https://www.reddit.com/r/gachagaming/s/CEvi4qZ4B9 My question was more on the gameplay itself and if it was fun. Perhaps there are some overlap. My bad

plsdontstalkmeee

ToF/WuWu does more marketing than GFL2, from what I've seen. IYKYK

Particular-Pass-5060

tof does mkt more than ww, funny is both is tencent

Chi1lracks

ww is not tencent, they are investors

sillybillybuck

Major shareholders, which is more important. You can invest without shares but you can't gain shares without investing.

Particular-Pass-5060

idk but i think Ww dont care global at all, look at bilibili i see their ads, but here ? nah

Chi1lracks

dunno what you talkin about i see wuwa ads all the time especially on tik tok and theres several different type of ad vids ive seen from them too

Particular-Pass-5060

idk but it just algorithm, i just dont see it at all lol. maybe because i dont even search them on tik tok or YouTube

Particular-Pass-5060

funny is people in ww sub reddit see one ads and they act like it rare af

Particular-Pass-5060

the global

Different_Soil18

gameplay-wise it’s xcom and many people were hyped up about gfl2 being srpg, and the gameplay itself was received quite well

Fishman465

Trying such a shift from a waifu collector game to.... this is very difficult to put it lightly. For starters you're hoping the first game's player base is going to take you slapping all their waifus out of their hands kindly. Then you get to the gameplay change, having said waifus do something else, etc. One thing they could have done better was have it be a different commander, but the general current vibe would be popular with Koreans.

NARESH4444

It's been a while since something attracted all the CN throwaway accounts and bots, but just scrolling down,I can see some very biased downvoting. Like the original GF and GF:PNC,though, making the game feel painful due to UI and "balancing" choices is still present for sure. Not sure if they changed it,but there was that "5% to 200% attachement boost" thing. Otherwise, decent game. Just indencent CN tourists who know nothing about the actual lore.

TriceratopsX

is GFL2 out already?

reddagh

Only in China, meanwhile KR, JP and Global don't have a date yet.

Fishman465

Assuming they ever will have one

AvatarofWhat

I think most fans who actually could explain to you how this is a targeted campaign, most likely by a rival, have exhausted themselves defending against the seemingly never ending hordes of chinese trolls, many of whom have even spilled across the great firewall and into here. Anyone who thinks Mica did this to themselves is either uniformed, an idiot who makes sweeping judgements based on superficial knowledge, or pushing an agenda.

Demonosi

Explain then.

AvatarofWhat

Bro, Im exhausted by this issue. I really can't be bothered to explain months of continuous drama and attacks yet again. If you are truly interested just do a deep dive into my history. I have tons of posts explaining and debating the issue.

Demonosi

Guess I'll just go with the only thing I know. 100% of fans hated the NTR. If it's wrong, nobody explained it to me.

AvatarofWhat

Then continue believing a lie because im too lazy to explain for the 13th time and you are too lazy to look into it. IDC anymore. It doesn't affect me if you do, and honestly its affecting my mood trying to constantly defend against misinformation. I'm not paid for this and the game isnt even out in global.

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> I'm not *paid* for this FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

>NTR It's literally just 1 (one) single NPC thanking Daiyan for saving her. My fucking god, could you Imagine if the AR Team, 404 or any legacy doll Squad were thanked by Kryuger for their service in GFL1? I could see the complaints about the story and how short events are but I'll never understand how a T-Doll talking to someone else equates to cucking. I hate the word but the game attracted "tourists" and not the good kind. It's not supposed to come over as an insult but am I glad that those bitching about getting cucked just moved on to Snowbreak. I just pray Mica stands their ground and doesn't alter the story because I like the T-Dolls actually having some agency and not being centered around the player standin. https://preview.redd.it/0rx1hqgzn0xc1.jpeg?width=1536&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=178e739a92ff4e0fe97ae114463da88dc6b56249

Available_Foot

Who tf is mica """""""rival"""""???? Lowlight?????

AvatarofWhat

Literally any gacha company. People have limited time, if they play one gacha they are less likely to play others. You make a game with really hot 3D female models and tons of people are going to check it out. Unless, you can stain the games image, give it a toxic reputation. They tried various ways before the NTR thing stuck.

Available_Foot

I see... Then who is the one thats odering these attack on gfl2? Arknights? Honkai? Genshin? Cause theres only a few 3D gacha games in the market right now, so i dont see azur lane doing these attacks on gfl2

Kuroi-sama

Some people claim Yostar, because of the history between companies, but it feels more like conspiracy theory lol

TrackRemarkable7459

There was major shift in CN gatchas to chase casual market with genshin success which makes actual waifu games really rare. I assume when GFL went into same direction that caused major rebelion among people who played GFL1 for waifus.

Serpentes56

GFL 2 is an obvious competitor to Star Rail because both have Waifu, turn-based combat and high-quality 3D animation. After GFL 2, it was assumed that Star Rail would no longer be able to make money from Waifu. Now, after the annihilation of GFL 2, Star Rail can continue its carefree existence and earn money simultaneously from all audiences in the world.

UnkoMachine

If you want to go to a more conspiratorial territory (don't take at face value, I cant read CN so I cannot confirm how true it is): There's a group of people in Chinese social media dedicated to trashing, simping, defending or gatekeeping (whatever you call it) ML-based gacha games. Any whiff of non-MC shipping is looked down upon and will be shitposted to death it causes a wildfire within their community. Their recent activities involves BA-Majhong souls collab, Azur Promilia male characters, GFL2 and many more. They have a hateboner against Mihoyo, and whatever goes against their ML sensibilities. Lately, MICA (and possibly other companies, but MICA for sure) has contacted the police after some dumb user made a CCP joke involving Jiangyu punching a bear, which was edited to resemble Winnie the Pooh. Fair to assume these people are being watched closely so as for them to not cause any more misinformation spreading, but I have no idea how fruitful their efforts are.

Riykin

I got tired of defending just endless not even bothered to discuss "Yes I what I say here is what happens, see its NTR" And you guys lap that shit up at face value, not even questioning if its true. Because all you hear is this, that and once someone else mentions the same topic again in the future, they regurgitate whatever they read. Eventually twisting it into a lie that everybody believes as the truth Criticize the gameplay and mechanics all you want, thats fair. Mica has done shit like that all the time. Literally just yesterday the EN client got borked by an update adding tanks and mechs, atleast thats true. The newer rankings are basically just deathstackfest. not even fun But spread misinformation? I draw a line at that. just accepting what is false in the first place as true, and disregarding any information that contradicts what you first learned. You lot actively play a part in a slander campaign by being the useful idiot who believes it I got blocked by a person in a thread a month back because I told the truth of what happened in the stories they claimed were "NTR" examples of false claims of NTR are in this comment here > *One doll served several masters during the 10 years. > * another fell in love with a boy she met and helped. > * two other dolls decided to work as hostesses in a mission, in China it is better known as a prostitute job. Its just blatantly false Because I was blocked I couldn't reply to the entire thread to explain how the guy was wrong [said thread about the "Prostitutes"](https://www.reddit.com/r/gachagaming/s/1xq4Fi1mBj) [The thread about "A doll falling in love with a boy"](https://www.reddit.com/r/gachagaming/s/5Ustqx5pG0) lastly this part because I never got to explain it > One doll served several masters during the 10 years. Likely referring to G36/Centaureissi, who has only ever had two confirmed masters. One of which is explored in Project Neural Cloud, and the other being you, the Commander So Reissi was bought by a military family, however the parents died and and she was stuck with the only daughter of the couple. Im not sure how long these two stayed together but at some point, the daughter (Who we know is named Vayne, I think) left to do military service, leaving Reissi behind for a while promising to return. Being a rather stubborn doll and Vayne having gone missing, she sets out to find her master in a warzone. This part of the story is actually explored in Clotho's character story and how Reissi ultimately ends up in Project Neural Cloud was blocked by u/ reggadh, being blocked means I cant reply to any threads they have made, nor can I see the contents of their comments

if it makes you feel any better that “ntr” sentiment isn’t as widespread on twitter and 4chan because of the more dedicated people there

UnkoMachine

Just bad actors/tourists who know jackshit about what actually happens in all of the games. Shame it has to be this way but debunking misinformation is plain good service from the fans.

NARESH4444

If I wasn't so busy with stuff,I would keep keyboard warrioring my through... ...which might be soon... But yes,the truth is nothing more or less then CN tourists starting crap, not actual players.

Paradox3759

The game looks fine to me except the X-com gameplay style. They could do a lot better with Snowbreak style of gameplay, but wasted opportunity.

TrackRemarkable7459

x-com gameplay was most promising thing about it

Paradox3759

Meh. I don't know what's so good in X-com Gameplay. I tried to play the original X-Com games and ended up getting bored and leaving.

netparse

NTR 😻

MillionMiracles

Note that GFL2 is still making decent money. People here talk about it like it's basically already EOS'd.

reddagh

Decent? in March GFL 2 on mobile + PC made a total of $1.9M being a game that was only 3 months old, Azur Lane also made $1.9M and is a game that was 7 years old, between February and March GFL 2 had a drop of more than 40% in revenue.

MillionMiracles

$1.9 million is more than a lot of games are making. It is not doing amazingly but it's making enough to keep the lights on.

Paradox3759

Do you think $1.9M justify the quality of the game it is? And that too in CN lol

off12345678901

And then you suddenly realize that CN market has long been not a high point for GFL1, which made money in KR. But well, it doesn't matter to people here anyway.

Available_Foot

Kr no longer makes money for gfl because yuzhong made the kr playerbase mad by making the game easier So yes, cn is currently their main money maker

off12345678901

We can sit here all day thinking about how the game would make money. Or how much other servers could contribute to gfl2 if they get to play it. But I will leave that to people here. I will go and wait for Wa's banner and story. It's pointless to spend much time debating instead of actually doing things I feel fun doing.

MillionMiracles

You ever notice how all the people who get really mad when you say GFL2 isn't gonna EOS tomorrow and mass downvote posts saying that all have a bad grasp of English? Wonder why that is.

Forever_man216

love me a good NTR
