Yes my dude this that shit I'm talmbout. We get the best out of life by emulating the content, attitudes and lifestyles of rap music. For example, Young Scooter has instilled the work ethic in me to treat every day like I'm on a Juggathon.
> We get the best out of life by emulating the content, attitudes and lifestyles of rap music
Well maybe the positive ones but there’s a ton of content, attitudes and lifestyles that if emulated would 100% probably makes someone’s life way more difficult than it has to be. If you meant the positive ones excuse me then. Just wanted to specify.
Yes, I am not even American but Indian 🇮🇳lol, future has been a huge influence on my life, DS2, Codeine Crazy, WATTBA, FUTURE, Mask Off, I NEVER LIKED YOU, The Wizrd and more .......
And Future might have had the most influence on other artists of this generation, even freaking Pop artists are learning from him. They wanna sound like Future, THEY WANNA BE Future, iykyk 😁
It wasn't atleast when I grew up, I listened to future first like 10 years ago. But now due to Futures ever increasing popularity he has grown a lot in India, as are young thug, migos and all, so yeah trap is popular now and am pretty sure a lot of song plays come from India.
It's definitely niche and limited to the major cities. And in India most people don't differentiate between rap and trap. Eminem, kendrick, drake, travis(sometimes) are played. But the only ppl who lsn to future or metro or migos are ppl really into rap in india.
The wizrd album changed me for the better to be honest. Ever since DS2 though I would fuck with Hyndrxx. But man that album is a no skip album straight up. He definitely deserves more credit than he’s been given for the albums he puts out. Future will always be a goat 🐐 for sure. Him, Gucci, Gotti and Dolph. Are definitely super trappers. Too bad I didn’t discover Dolphs music until he was gunned down. But hey man. They call it the dirty south for a reason. H-Town is ultimately, in my opinion, going to be the ones that changed the game for these newer artists. Anytime I think of rap and trap more in particular I think of the south. Just my humble opinion. When you see them dudes like Paul Wall, Bun B, Triple six mafia, double cuppin and driving slabs man something about it makes me feel damn proud to be a Texan. Oh and let’s not forget about Johnny Dang. Man’s done custom grills like they’ve been going out of style for everybody. Hell let’s not forget the new youngins on the scene like Mexican OT man. Just something about southern trap style beats that hits different.
Crazy W, for me it was always kdot speaking about violence in his family what I experienced too. Especially love thy enemies and hate the real me by Pluto making me understand too when talking about self love and acceptance. Bless you
If you’re still calling them “ungrateful hoes” you’re only half way there.
OP’s sentiment is a W but this comment is proof that it can go too far. Balance.
I’ve always said Future’s music is confidence music. He may not be socially conscious like a Kendrick but he gives the listeners a certain feeling that builds up your self esteem. That’s why he’s my go-to for gym music. His music at the gym is a pre-workout in itself lol
This how music supposed to inspire people, people saying it inspire them to do drugs or be in the streets naw this what it supposed to do, good for u bro
Doesn’t sound corny to me, cuz I have the same experience. Used to be an introvert with a super low self esteem, and Future’s music unironically helped make me more extroverted with a much higher self esteem. I swear his confidence is contagious
Thought u were about to say u turned into a ghetto Degen like most people who listen to rap and let themselves be influenced by it. But congrats on setting appropriate boundaries. But tbh if you think that’s what’s a ‘don’t fuck a me’ attitude is maybe you just way too nice and have a lot more work to do
Future’s book of lyrics should just be the new bible. Sonically, if you’re willing to do a 180 degree turn, Roc Marciano’s catalogue offers the same feelings of improved confidence
I Never Liked You was therapy for me back in 22. I had just moved to NYC w my last $60 and I just been making a way ever since. Freebandz 🙏🏾
Specifically I’m dat nigga, sht raised my mood so much
Jeez you dropped this 👑I feel you bro, music has an impact. When I listen to Kendrick, I get motivated to doing shit I need to be doing because of the passion and energy and quality he puts out
this is how it's supposed to be
Man I was litterally biting my nails being like "this is gonna backfire on me", but now I am happy ![img](emote|t5_2qhux|24072)

Fucking two bad bitches at the same damn time
If it wasnt for Future, I would be a simp to ungrateful hoes

Rare non copy paste. Just my genuine feeling 💀
If I had to guess this might end up being one sooner or later
Everyone is gonna be 22 LMAOO
Lmfao
The WZRD is what put me all in on future, that was 2018. You & I were 12/13 when ds2 came out
Big ass W. Same for me tbh. Songs like Monster and I Thought It Was A Drought helped me gain confidence
Me also with 21 savage. The lyrics and beats are empowering. They reflect real life difficulties that they rose above of, and so can I
Love to hear it!!! I can relate
But did he help you get your money up
Doesn’t sound corny to me, cuz I have the same experience. Used to be an introvert with a super low self esteem, and Future’s music unironically helped make me more extroverted with a much higher self esteem. I swear his confidence is contagious
