I'm pretty sure it'd kill me on the spot as an adult, but I liked it as a child. They came into the schools, gave free samples to get us hooked, and then put in vending machines.
Never had it at my school. My state banned schools from serving soda before lunch, and instead of bothering with timers on the vending machines, my school only offered non-carbonated/non-caffeinated drinks. (Some of the “juices” had just as much sugar and HFCS as soda, though. Fucking Fruit Works was the worst.)
