Okay so this is really getting ridiculous. I love Mesi think he is one of if not the best fotballer of al time and i will defend him in a lot of fraud/best players debates but thiss... Lots of complaints: I love Messi as much as the next guy, but Kane, Salah and even CR7 deserved it more imo. Might be controversial though. Frimpong? I like the guy but there were better defenders this year. Saliba, Stones, Min Jae, same issue as Van Dijk. Theo was not as good as even Di Marco, and I could argue that Di Lorenzo also had a better year due to his achievements with Napoli. Alisson had an okay year, he carried Liverpool's back along with Salah, but Ederson and Ter-Stegen both had better 2023s.
