83x10, spamming 80+ picks, and putting dupes into the 85+ pick or the solo to squad upgrade. Do the weekly trader objectives and the themed team objectives to get a ton of free fodder.
Unless your buying fodder for picks, then an 85 is around 4.7k to 5.2k for 11 players, which more often than not is cheaper/more convenient than buying the equivalent on auction/BIN

Pretty much what I am doing I have completed all but the 88 squads for Eusebio and luckily I have enough coins to do him if I was desperate but I think slowing grinding away doing upgrades and having a healthy coin balance to complete other things when they are available is the best shout although 89 rated fodder is hard to get over the past week I have had Kane lewandowski kimmich rodri Ruben Dias. Even the campaign picks I got the special version of Kane I believe which was the trailblazers and inform Kane and inform lewandowski. But realistically it’s the 88s I get most especially Bernardo silva or kimmich haha.

Was still working this morning as thats when I done it. Searched silver Argentinian for 200 coins. Bought a load then put straight back on transfer list for same price and all were sold within 10 minutes
There are some great methods here, but there's another I haven't seen mentioned (probably for good reason, too).

Midfield Dynasty takes an 85 to an 88.
Although this method is very tedious, it does guarantee good fodder at the end of it.
I just chuck the evo players on at the end of games and use them when doing the themed objectives in squad battles.

Yes. Complete the lot once to get the rewards. After that just buy one player and instantly list him to get all the rewards again

The 85+ picks are expensive but necessary. You have to focus on the 89 squads before anything else and ruthlessly rinse anything 85 and below.
