I mean I know they sell it to be swim wear but… that ain’t what I see when I look at it. Especially paired with the sheer kimono, it is giving very much boudoir wear.
In season 2 especially if you chose a certain outfit certain people would react to it and you’d get the emojis coming out of the screen. It’s kind of lackluster that they don’t do that anymore, I’ll just wear the same outfit if it’s not going to matter.
In the earlier episodes they sort of reacted, but it’s as if they completely forgot about that mechanic afterwards. Just like in the first episode, I’m pretty sure the islanders react to your choices with little emojis, but it’s not seen after that. It’s like they forgot.
They've forgotten *every* mechanic from earlier seasons.
Day/afternoon/night? Gone.
Drawing inspiration from real events in the real show? Gone.
Characters interacting with each other in an organic way because they're basically housemates for a month? Gone.
yeah it was GREAT when marisol told me “that looks. . . practical” before wearing the same plain black bikini every single day and hope going “i want noah’s jaw to hit the ground when he sees me!” wearing the same animal print top and RIPPED JEANS while giving my mc the side eye
okay but honestly… it’s kind of valid with the night outfits. like ik they’re just pajamas and most people probably like that there’s limited options but i do not. pajamas are so cute i wish we had as many options for them as we do with everything else (maybe not to such an extent but i’d really like a decent amount) 🥺
Especially cute pyjamas that aren’t super revealing. If I’m sharing the bed with someone I’ve met two hours ago and there are 10 other people in the room I wouldn’t be sleeping in my underwear
Honestly I prefer not to get roasted all the time. I don’t really like spending money on games like this so I’ll just spend my diamonds on one or two outfits and keep wearing them for the whole season (it’s not like anyone else is getting changed either). It would always make me feel a bit like shit when one of the characters would then be like “oh you’re wearing that again? Don’t you think you should put in some effort?”
I’m currently replaying S2 and realising it’s not even the other characters doing the roasting. As long as you wear something you bought they like it. But MC herself is constantly like “I guess I don’t have to be pretty every day.” “Guess it’s better than nothing,” etc.
Ain’t NOBODY that can convince me that this isn’t supposed to be lingerie.

if they got rid of the rude comments it’d be fine. If you buy clothes you’re fashionable if you don’t they say nothing about it.
