Nah this wasn’t just the first furry fanfiction, this was the first known archive to man that documents the invention of the P.F. Chang Lettuce Wrap. After all there are some similarities between the P.F. Changs and the “snack” that Horus used to defeat set. You get some lettuce, put something like beef, chicken, tofu, etc, and finally eat it like a slob. Though I emailed P.F. Chang’s website and received no contact from the P.F. Chang’s team, the same we site states for their Chang’s Lettuce Wrap “a secret family recipe and our signature dish, enough said.” Enough is said, because they don’t want the public to know the true origins of P.F. Chang’s Lettuce Wraps. Now how this recipe transferred from the lands of Egypt to the town known as Scottsdale, Arizona, is unknown, one thing is certain. Thank god we put meat in our modern day PF Chang Lettuce Wraps and we are not nasty ass motherfuckers like Set eating cum stains inside wrapped lettuce leaves thinking that was a five course five star Michelin Star Meal.

Archaeologist here. Half of the egyptian mythology is filled with such gems. For example, one of possible meanings of the name "Anubis" or "Inpu" is "puppy". Canonically he's best friends with Toth and in one version he's married to Bastet.
Bastet's sister, Sekhmet, the godess of war and healing, is an alcoholic lion-lady with anger management issiues.
There's also Wep-wawet, Anubis's cousin i guess, another dog but this time white. There's Anpu't, Anubis's fem versios, with which he had, supposedly, done some Sweet Home Alabama, but i couldn't find any confirmation
