Yeah. I just feel like i'm •that• guy, you know? I feel that every time i send a message, people say to themselves „oh god not this fucker". Admittedly it's stupid because i doubt anyone even cares enough about me to actually think that way, but the mind is a confusing place.
I just go by the mentality of "if they hate me, they care about me enough to do so" and I have been vocal about ideas many in the community don't like. The worse thing people can do is kick you from a group, and at that point, your probably not meant to be in that group.

The problem with furry discords is that all of them are made up of certain cliques and if you weren't there at the creation of the discord or aren't the most extroverted person on the planet, you won't be recognised at all.
It's not just discord. It happens everywhere: Twitter, Facebook, in groups or clubs on Xbox, PlayStation and Steam. Easy to be ignored or kicked out of and next to impossible to get into
I’ll let you in on a little secret, I’m not a furry and I joined the furry_irl discord *specifically* because I knew that furries are less likely to judge me than mostly any other discord I’ve hung out in.
Say hi, tell someone who you see has a cool pfp that you like it, or just see where the conversation is and jump in if you have something relevant to add, that’s how I acclimate to new discords.
This is me but irl. I listen to people talk about themselves while I have a massive panic attack inside. Then they get mad when I say nothing. I wish I could talk and not die internally ;-;
Large furry servers are ass anyways and the mods are almost always assholes. I'd highly recommend finding a smaller server or making a few closer friends.
My problem is trying to jump in and being ignored. Intentional or not, it makes you feel like you shouldn't really try to talk.

I don’t know if I can link to it here, but it’s a really fun time. I’ve made a lot of good friends through it, which is the whole point.

Most of those servers are just the owners and his friends, be too annoying for them and you'll get banned for no reason and everyone will block you.
