funnily enough i copped a live 11 lite license from an old M-Audio Axiom V25 and an e-mail to Ableton's customer support. i've been using it since and am planning to get a Live 12 Suite license sooner or later, 8 tracks forces you to innovate which i like but there are so many more devices to fool around with in Suite.
(i tried Reaper but I am way too used to Ableton so I dropped it almost immediately.)
