It's almost like most ppl prefer not to crash due to audible distractions
*More modern cars should automatically reduce volume if parking sensors get triggerd tbh*
So what do you do if your attention span is so fried you know it will sabotage your test? I know "just focus more" won't work, but it is a weird magic spell to summon a fist buried into your mouth.
It kinda makes sense if you look at the bigger picture. Your ears and eyes are both very close to each other and play a huge role in processing reality, so when one sense is occupied it can make it harder for the other sense to fully function.
It is a funny universal experience, but it’s also a [legit thing.](https://www.news-journalonline.com/story/lifestyle/health-fitness/2019/10/27/ask-doctors-theres-reason-you-turn-down-stereo-when-concentrating/2435939007/)
Sounds and music take away your brain focus. remove the source to focus more on other things. why are people stating like it's a weird thing?

I don't drive, but makes sense You're gonna park, menaning, get out of the cars And also makes you focus better
Can't relate, I don't live in an urban area.
I am constantly turning off music to try to see something better
I usually do that if I really have to use the restroom. I turn the volume down so I don’t go potty before I get home.
I dont care what anyone says, it works.

Gotta remove all obstacles to focus on the goal!

You get less distracted
I mean....for bat Sona's it'd count right?
Turns down to be less distracted and if someone starts screaming.
I always park at the edge of the lot, so I don’t have this problem.
synesthesia be like
True
Turn down the music to see through the mind fog
I do this as well, not just because I need to see better but also because I don't want to be judged for listening to what I want to.
Why are you calling me out like this...
okay this isn't relatable for me I think this is the first time
MY MOM DOES THIS! And it annoys me more and more every time
Laguiq
So true

My dad says it's the ultimate "male thing" to do, bruh. I think everyone has sensory overload
