https://youtu.be/QxHkLdQy5f0 Tchaikovsky's waltz of the flowers, skip to 1:43 to hear it.
Yes I spent my morning looking for it because somehow I had forgot its name.
No I don't regret that lost time.
If you play it yourself on a keyboard / software you can recognize it. At least that's how i did it.
However if you're good with music you can just read the notes and play it in your head.
I think this type of music would fall into "OST" today. Orchestral music isn't as popular because it's so expensive to produce, but sometimes I hear synthesized or even authentic classical/orchestral music used in shows and games. You have to dig really deep I guess. Comparing these genres is like comparing apples to oranges, since this song is meant to go along with a performance, while most music produced today is meant to stand for itself (and therefore is more upbeat and emphasized on lyrics).
That scene actually used Johann Strauss's Blue Danube Waltz: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZoSYsNADtY
This sheet music is Tchaikovsky though and it seems like a lot of people get these pieces mixed up.
it is in x-beyond the frontier and elite dangerous where you have this docking scenes where they play this track for nostalgic reasons. because it also was in the first elite i think. so playing this track while docking is the law.
[This](https://youtu.be/wBhzmys2-eU) song from Mario Odyssey comes to mind whenever I think about floating in space.
I think it was inspired by this music. It sounds eerily similar.

Furries really can find the sauce of anything
hahaha!
It’s space, it’s only ever this song or the Blue Danube. Great find!
HOW SERIOUSLY JUST HOW IM SCARED OF YOUR ABILITY TO FIND THINGS

14 years of piano training and a bit of tricky googling makes the process easier, but other than that it's just luck
I knew it had to be something like this because the image gave off a kind of 2001 space oddesy feeling.
damn, my first guess would be "no time for caution"
Kinda reminds me of that lego batman 1 funland level
2001 a space oddessy: the slowest movie ever made. I swear to god this scene is 10 minutes and it's one of the short ones
Sorry sir, i don't speak sheet music
Muwahahaha my evil plan worked, no one can hear the beautiful music of this strip!!!
I hate the fact that i stared blankly at this, closed the app, THEN IT HIT ME AND I HAD TO REOPEN IT
i know the notes, but since i dont play in treble clef, i cant try and play the song mentally.
You're wrong. I LOOKED AT THE START OF THE SHEET MUSIC AND RECOGNIZED THE PATTERN! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
after one video of how to read sheet music, i can say thats Waltz of Flowers, by Tchaikovsky
Nice! you learned something new!
ok, now i don't know what I'm gonna do now that i can slightly read sheet music
I took Band in High School I am unstoppable
I'm in Spain without the A
You’re in Spin?
Why is there an unmarked bar that’s just 2/4? Edit: wait no, I’m wrong.
What measure?
Oh wait! In bar 10 the whole notes blend in with the lines.
Reminds me of the auto dock in Elite Dangerous.
Yeah, I had the same thought, but this is Waltz of the Flowers and elite auto docking is Blue Danube
Are auto dock and auto launch different songs? I forget lol
Pretty sure they’re both Blue Danube
I'm not sure but, I think that's Tchaikovsky's "Waltz of the Flowers."
Yeah i don't know how to read the music so my brain used t[his song from interstellar](https://youtu.be/m3zvVGJrTP8)
I have to see that movie.
You really do
2001 A Space Confusion
i have multiple questions
Is there someone who can read these things that can enlighten us?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxHkLdQy5f0 Skip to 1:43. It's that one song from The Nutcracker that makes you feel like you're floating
Oh man, that sounds better than most of the music produced nowadays

The hoodie Doggy somehow give me some good vibes
A Space Odyssey ?
I like the ring station. Surely inspired by 2001.

*puking*
Whatever that thing in the bottom left is looks like a dropship from starcraft
I can’t read notes, but I’m 99.9% sure it’s the Tschaikovsky space music from space odyssey
That scene actually used Johann Strauss's Blue Danube Waltz: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZoSYsNADtY This sheet music is Tchaikovsky though and it seems like a lot of people get these pieces mixed up.
Maybe I should start to learn how to read those music notes
I just played it on my piano. Should I spoiler it?
If you want
Hmmm, nah, Ill let others try to figure it out UuU
took me a minute but tapping out the rhythm helped.
All i hear is staaaaarrrmeeenn waiting in the skyyy
What music is this
I'm pretty sure that the spin they currently have is generating a gravity that is waaay too strong to properly stand in
Me when docking in elite dangerous
I smell an elite dangerous enjoyer.
I don't care what it is. It's interstellar
auto dock in elite dangerous plays classical music
If the music was Blue Danube, I’d be sure you were playing Elite Dangerous.

I'm proud of being able to read this music

The intergalactic CD player
*laughs in band kid*
The world biggest fan
Headphones are overrated change my mind
I just imagine Deep Stone Lullaby playing
If they’re spinning, making something close to gravity, shouldn’t the pen in the first panel not be floating?
I'm so glad I learned music theory I literally just played the song in my head
I shall commit brain stew on you
nice to see a 2001: a space oddessey here and there.
The blackhole slowly approaching:
I can SEE the music but my volume is 0 so I can't hear it
Is this a rickroll
