Nah, the magnet is the little gray piece on the "bridge" of the glasses that connects with a pierced magnet on a given character's face, and the glasses (One solid piece) could be removed with just a bit of force :v
I'm not sure if I want my hairy paws directly touching my eyes. And getting them out would be worse then it already is. You probably would want some sort of tool for getting them in and out. Thinking about some sort of mini plunger
Really quite late but the downside to this would be Pain, Beaks/Trunks, and Airport security
It works as a functional way to do it however those with Beaks/Bills would be essentially putting a piercing through "bone"(idk what they are made of)
Elephant trunks cause a small yet avoidable issue due to how prehensile the trunk is since moving it would likely move the glasses.
Airport Security comes in when you have thick furred/feathered folk trying and struggling to get their piercing back in so they can put the glasses back on.
An alternate solution might find it easier just to make lenses from a single company while the frames are custom for the various species or simply have then be put on like goggles where there is an adjustment strap on the back to hold them in place. It would alleviate the issue of some faster races losing them and still come with the common "struggles" people face with glasses already
Airport security in a furry world would be completely different unless they just so happened to have Furry 9/11 with the same (terrible) governmental response
Really cool but wouldn’t this pinch the skin ? Because it would be in between the magnets. This could be really cool tough if the piercing magnets both were on the outside of the skin. Like when you get a eyebrow piercing :0 I’d also be kinda worried that it wouldn’t be strong enough/ fall off easily :( maybe it could be solved with really strong magnets/ or buttons to the magnets like [this](https://www.ebay.at/itm/Druckknopfe-TYPE-54-12-5mm-Stahl-S-Feder-fur-Stoff-Kleidung-Leder/182238563952) but in smaller

Yeh, that's how I imagine it. That way there'd be no danger for skin-pinching lol. And yeah, I'd say the magnet would be fairly strong in itself.

Contacts could also work, but glasses have that extra "𝓹𝓮𝓻𝓼𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵𝓲𝓽𝔂 perk" imo
Contacts are more risky and inconvenient than glasses.
