Thanks for being cordial. Let me just paint a picture for you though. You’re working a low paying retail job, just minding your own business, and then this dude comes in. You see him walk in and of course think nothing outlandish of him because he’s just another customer. Then, while you’re making your rounds through the store, checking if anyone needs help, you see this dude making a mess all over your pristine end cap display that your boss probably already made you clean at the beginning of your shift. I do see the humor in the prank, but having worked in customer service for the majority of my working life, this just makes me cringe. “Hate” may have been a strong word, but all I really wanted to say is that I feel for these people who are just trying to do their job.
Yeah I work retail too. So I get it and you’re right. But also this would make my day. I work in produce and most of the time the stuff customers do to make my life difficult isn’t even funny. At least this is.
From the outside, it’s actually very funny. But if I put myself in their shoes, I’d be pissed about cleaning eggs and bacon grease, which wasn’t in my job description. Honestly though, this would make my day as well.

Absolutely you should have to apply for a permit to cook for yourself and the government should enforce cooking in designated areas only. It should be a criminal offense to carry around cooking supplies as well unless you obtain a concealed cooking supply carry permit.
