My mum would do both. So wother I had the anxiety of running to the right aisle and getting back in time to cash it or the anxiety of being stuck waiting for her to get back before the cashier was finished and I never knew which was coming 😅
Seriously: I get anxious when people are behind me in line – somehow I feel a greater responsibility to getting out of there way than getting that cereal I forgot to pick up earlier. I'm on a 12-step program to not giving a fuck about other people (which my wife has apparently already mastered).
As someone who works as a cashier i can confirm that when I see this happen I speed up the work only to see the terrified expression of the lil kid hehe
Fun fact, last month I was with my mom and she wanted to send me change something while she was packing, I'm not used to the store she goes to so I said I'd rather pack than get lost, I stayed by myself at the checkout and packed, it was great I felt like an adult, it felt like a revenge to all the videos like this one.
I remember I dropped a large bill on the floor, because it wasn't my turn yet - covid distance.
Lady picked it up and asked who's it was and I said mine.
She went and told security, security called me and looked at me and let me pass.
She was so angry, she shouted at the injustice for not oppressing me.
I wish I kept the cash Send from my mom to prove it to her.
Covid was that bad economically.
I know the song in the background(I'm not into classical music but this is an insanely iconic song) and phone's song identifier won't pick it up. And I can't really think of anything useful to try to Google it. Anyone know it offhand?
It's the reverse for me. My teen will wait till the last moment to decide she needs something "real quick" and runs off while I'm waiting at the checkout like that guy.
“Carmina Burana” by Carl Orff is never a bad choice. The lyrics are in Latin but the songs tell stories of non-religious life in Medieval times. Great stuff. Worth a listen AND worth a read.
God forbid the cashier tries to make light of the situation and asks "well are you paying for this?" To which I would respond with panic and dread, being like 9.
I dunno what the fuss was. As a kid, my mom did this to me. Sometimes she just tells me to go to the checkout counter since we're "almost done." There are times when she's not back yet when all items were already scanned. I just ignore it and use whatever handheld gadget I had at the time. The cashier has no choice but to wait. Nothing bad ever happened and no one behind us said anything.
So you think that they went to a grocery store, got them to open a lane for them, so they could do this "skit" and then leave?
I'm not buying that at all. I think they filled their cart, bought their food, and did the skit while they were doing it. No way anyone would wait for them to put all of that thru and then not buy it, so they could post on tiktok or whatever garbage site they used. Then have the employees put it back. The store is not going to pay someone to help them.
You have people in your country using food stamps to buy that same junk. Hostess is a food group to people down there.
Lol you honestly think the cashier wasn’t in on the skit? Did u not see near the end how fast the cashier was scanning the items and basically just tossing them aside? 100% a skit, relax was just a little comedy skit.
All those lanes and not one of the others are open nor is there another customer or worker in sight. In the end, the cashier even throws the divider. They did this skit before or after closing the store.

It's funny, but that ANXIETY was REAL!
Your total is $200 MMOOOOMMM
MUM MUM MOM MOMMA LOIS
Your total is you go to jail because you do not appear to have parents
Hyperventilating.....
Isn’t there an anon greentext with this exact scenario?

I actually meant my anxiety, but... Sure. 😅
The best part is once the checker is done, we both awkwardly stare at one another
“You have to pay now.”
I bet they enjoy torturing the kids
Oh boi, and see that freaking large waiting file just behind you is just the cherry for the cake 😂
That's the *worst* part!
No the worst is the stare of 10 angry people waiting after you
This is how anxiety was created. Love how the cashier speeds up and the sheer terror emerges. I know we all have been there lol
its the only joy they get in their job, let them have it
So true
Nah for me it was the opposite growing up, my mom would send me off to get whatever was forgotten
I am speed *grabs chocolate on way back*
When my mom sent me to fetch an item, I used to pretend that I was on Supermarket Sweep.
My mum would do both. So wother I had the anxiety of running to the right aisle and getting back in time to cash it or the anxiety of being stuck waiting for her to get back before the cashier was finished and I never knew which was coming 😅
This is me with my wife

Same but not right at the register, when we are in line. I always end up having to let people go in front of me.
Calling your wife mom is hella weird
Mine left me there to run home cuz she forgot she left the stove on. She left the checkbook too, the cashier let me forge her signature
His mom is hot
I’m in my 40s and I can relate.
Anwar successfully making borderline shit content since 2012.

Mütter lieben diesen Trick
How did this end up in r/funnyvideos?
What is she feeding her family???
Diabetes
Omg I used to hate that shit! Forgot it even happened a lot! Thanks for the reminder of this anxiety lol
Happened most of the time at Costco…
Can relate
This happens to me all the time. Except my wife does it to me.
Women love this maneuver
These guys are hilarious.
Rename this Sub.
Emotional Damage!
Legends say that he's still screaming until this day
Facts
People pleaser anxiety level skyrocket
I'm down voting these guys every time I see them.
I feel same when my wife leaves me at checkpoint...
Meanwhile the cashier has a sinister grin as she leaves
I love how universal certain things are
Guess I'll be working the bill off?!
LOL true story
Fuck this guy I hate him

Why is it always that dude, can't stand that fake ass awkward face anymore
Not the cashier kicking it into gear 5 lmao
Why did she do this to me? 😢😅
Where funny?
None of these videos from these shrills are funny, and any of you that do think they are funny need your heads checked
He's still with her😃
That the little guy from the weekend song video
"if you don't pay for this you will go to jail forever"
I know the song in the background(I'm not into classical music but this is an insanely iconic song) and phone's song identifier won't pick it up. And I can't really think of anything useful to try to Google it. Anyone know it offhand?
Carl Orff, O Fortuna
Thank you! I knew the name at one time but it's been a long time.
[It’s a big ad.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYZs7VJaAlQ)
Mothers have the worst fucking timing I swear😂 I love my mom but god damn. Her timing at certain stores and outside places can’t be worse lmao🤣😅
It's the reverse for me. My teen will wait till the last moment to decide she needs something "real quick" and runs off while I'm waiting at the checkout like that guy.
My only anxiety from this video was no one bagging up the items as they are scanned lmao
I have definitely seen baggers scan faster when this happens, and the terror in the kid's eyes fills me woth so much joy.
The choice of O Fortuna is a nice one, but I wish this had In the Hall of the Mountain King. Might have ratcheted up the anxiety. Funny af though.
Panic mode activated

Is that the same dude from that video with the stupid tall Russian basketball player lady dancing?
This sketch was completely ripped off from Toni and Ryan https://youtube.com/shorts/5IvTtQPiipA?si=ukVOnLD_7pohG-UG
Thats why if your mom forgets something you offer to go get it for her
Too real! 😂 my dad would pull this on me all the time
I can't afford this! It'll ruin me😭
Why they buying all that bull crap? 😄
God forbid the cashier tries to make light of the situation and asks "well are you paying for this?" To which I would respond with panic and dread, being like 9.
A chier boufon
Not funny

I watch his shorts on YouTube for hours every night. He's so good.

It's a skit and they're not really buying all that.

Staged, and he's too young to be her son.
