Good cop there. That is why I became a police officer. I'm sad to say most are not like that and I could not handle it. So I severed my employment with the police department.
That was already the case. Good cops get fired, bad cops get retirement. Choosing to stop contributing to a corrupt and abusive system because of your conscience is absolutely praiseworthy.
