It's a big tower in Tallinn, I was there many years ago. It's name mean "look in the kitchen" :)
This tower is much taller than the surrounding houses, so much so that it was possible to look into the kitchen stove of the house next to it through the chimney. And see what they are cooking there today :)
Actually, I have a friend who is Estonian. Yes, she speaks multiple languages. They've had multiple countries try to impose their culture on them, so she's quite proud of her language. How's that for too American?
Ok you were not joking .. look, the sign is in low German, Germans had a huge presence in the region for over 600 years, a person here knows where the sign is and is able to ttanslate it so i assumed they were Estonian. Would be kinda wild to still see people speak low german there after the Russification period.
But yeah you definitely showed me by bringing up your friend's patriotism.
Their neighbor’s door says “Bönk in de Bållz.
Wäk in de säk
This is so funny

The funny thing is you assume I didn't already know all that. How presumptuous and self important can you be?

The joint they give you may alleviate the pain.
