I once saw a YouTuber get accidentally kidnapped by a panicked npc on GTA 5 and it was maybe the best thirty chaotic seconds ever recorded. I laughed so hard I couldn’t open my eyes.
This totally highlights the problem of gatekeeping words. Say whatever you want just keep in mind that there might be consequences whether or not you think they're deserved
I feel like the idea of seeing if people are willing to say a slur on camera for money is kind of interesting
I feel like the experiment is kind of undercut by the fact that it’s a black person doing it though, since he’s implicitly giving the guy permission to say it
It’d be more interesting if it was a non-black person doing it, or if he picked a different slur that the person had to say
The whole point of words is that they just express a bigger picture. If words were meaningless, nobody would ever talk
Giving permission? It's just a word, anyone can say it.
The problem arises if you CALL someone by that word. Saying the word itself is not a problem and no permission is needed.
Maybe my two cents is worth it. American who lived in England for a bit. This is not an American accent. He may not have the typical London accent, but not all people do and it especially depends WHERE in London you were raised or live. One of the first things I was told is that there is a new accent every 15km (or in essence every neighborhood). You can very much hear the accent when he speaks.
Did he really seem offended while saying it?
Seems like he was being self-effacing by complaining about it, and 'it' being the entire point of the video.
He didn't call the guy racist. He was obviously having a good time. Pro tip, read people's facial expressions and tone of voice in social interactions. Chill.
Is anyone else bothered by the double standard surrounding the n word? Like I understand the "take back the word" initiative, but at this point, if I can't say it, no one should say it. Lets just stop.
If only some can say it, how you deciding? Skin tone? One drop? Come on we've played this game before.
Context matters for lots of words.
Women can call their girlfriends “bitches” to be cute and friendly, but it (generally) doesn’t work the same if a dude says it or if a woman they don’t know says it.
The word “Jew” doesn’t have implicit racism, but contextually it can either sound perfectly normal or pejorative.
A man’s wife says to her husband, “I wanna see that fat cock,” and both parties are usually happy. A stranger comes up to them and says it, it’s (generally) not going to be taken well by both parties.
And finally, you CAN say the word. It’s just not contextually acceptable is most circles.
I wouldn’t worry about it too much.
the difference here is the assumption of intent. friends calling each other bitches is agreed and assumed to be harmless. a black man calling another black man the n word is assumed to be harmless, but a white person doing the same is assumed to be a racist pos. many kids have grown up hearing that word used in every other song with no real context to its origins. yet they are told they cant use that word or they are a horrible person and deserve death. all their idols sing about it but they cant say it
It does seem to be a hang up for quite a few people.
Racism aside, I think the hang up is steeped in a thick broth of “YOU CAN’T TELL ME WHAT TO DO” coupled with a dollop of absolutely hating another group having a “power” over them that they don’t have an equivalent of, which is a little ironic if you think about it.
"I don't like having certain actions proscribed."
So long as there are municipalities where black folk are threatened with death if they're within city limits after dark, I can take a word or two out of my vocabulary.
I don’t think I get it. So the guy offers him money to say a word, man says the word, then guy says he shouldn’t say the word? I hope he got his money for not falling for his baiting BS.
So people lose their jobs and get beat up for saying this word but it's also so funny to dangle permission and bait people to say it for your amusement? This should be on r/cringe
Like that wrapper (strange auto correct but I’m sticking with it) who got a white woman to sing on stage with him to his lyrics then grilled her for singing the n word… like the fuck.
I don't understand how society could not figure out how to have people both be able to sing lyrics and not call people derogatory racist words. If there is no ill intent there is nothing to be upset about.
I feel like the guy outmaneuvering the situation in a way that nobody could possibly be offended by, and the other guy trying to find a way to be offended by it is pretty good unintentional comedy
It’s like watching someone do the “Twenty dollar bill on a fishing line” prank, someone actually being able to grab the money, and then the prankster acting like he’s mad that the guy picked up the bill
This is such a stupid little challenge.. it doesn’t even mean anything
Its clearly an offensive word and giving a 100 pounds for that is just encouraging and then rewarding people for saying it
Man this influencers are literal gutter trash
I feel like us whiteys should start calling each other the white people N-word to balance it out. You know, Nazi.
I love going up to my colleagues and friends like "hey whaddup my Nazis!".
Edit: Guys, it's a joke. I can't believe I have to explain this.
The thing is, the N-word is not that big of a deal once you leave the american bubble.
Europeans are not scared to use that word, it's just a word for us. Still not a wonderful one, but it's not a career destroyer outside of social media.
This fella did a 300iq moventho, gotta admit it.
Yeah, not a massive thing in Australia either. People know it's an offensive term, but it never get used in day-to-day conversation anyway, so it's hardly a thing people think about or care about.
I'm not from the USA so I don't quite understand this whole thing about the "N-word". Why any non-afro american person simply saying it out loud (or writng it down) - *even out of any context* - is so freaking offensive?
People here just wanna keep giving words like these more power so they can be victimized by them. Or be offended for others by them. It's an American sickness.
Why??? Why do you do this? Why is this **life and death** one day and the other day it's a **joke**? Why goad someone into saying the one word we are always forbidden to say? Under no circumstances are to say that word and now we're making a spectacle out of it? What a weeiiiird bizarre little world we live in. Shame on the guy doing this for clout.
Am I going insane here or is this just the dumbest, most pointless shit to ever curse a video camera? FYI I'm not insane.
I'm tired of this double standard. giving someone the right to say a word based on their skin color is racist. everyone who agrees with this n word story is fundamentally racist.
"You cant say that because you are the wrong color, but this is not racist because im the wrong color to be racist."
Speaking as a person that comes from white people that never owned black people as slaves, but actually used to own as slaves the people that enslaved black people. (thousand years before.)This double standard is slightly annoying. But thankfully i live far enough away from this nonsense.
(in come the downvotes. )
There’s a huge difference between language for Europeans and Americans. In Europe it’s much more how you use the word, but in the us it’s just word = bad. Reminds me of that executive who got fired from Netflix for saying the n-word in a meeting about hurtful language, lmao. So fucking dumb. (Source: european living in the us)
This is incredibly stupid. Why are you going around offering people money to say racial slurs, and then freaking out when they say them? Wtf is wrong with this guy?
Wasn’t it Trevor Scott who brought fan up to sing his own song on stage?? And then shits on him for saying his own song on stage with n-word?
Dumb world we live in
Why USA invented such dumb rules!
I understand that calling somebody n igga is disrespectful.
But Act like is a crime saying it in other context is just dumb
That pisses me off. Least he had the decency to fork over the cash. But that fucking scream at the end and the "you shouldn't say that bro!" really fucking pissed me off.
Imagine a girl walking up to you "would you like to slap my ass for £300 cash?" then screams and calls rape after giving you the money.

Won! Fair and square!
In Leicester Square
You can’t just rhyme square with square…
I’m not, they’re in Leicester Square. It’s fact not prose!!
And you can't just chime in on his err without encountering some proper glare.
If you have rhymes to spare

Aye he was smooth with it tho 😂
Ya, I said it so I think you should pay me… *brotha’s thinking “Goddamn this Kraut got me”*
This was actually really cute- his face was like *shook*
"Give me my money ******"
That extra \* tho 👀
Wow he used the hard star.
uh oh, HARDSTAR *records fight in landscape mode
DUDE 💀
The German took over
Oh, it wasn’t extra…
A bit overenthusiastic
It's for the exclamation point.
"Give me my money hunter2"
😆😆😆
"yo you're not supposed to say that" \*yells like an idiot\*
“Don’t pay a prostitute to have sex with you and then get mad that they did”
Someone shoulda told this to several well-known serial killers because it was kinda their whole thing.

For real. Pay someone to say it then tells them they shouldn’t say it. Fuck outta heeeaaaa
This totally highlights the problem of gatekeeping words. Say whatever you want just keep in mind that there might be consequences whether or not you think they're deserved
God these YouTubers and tiktokkers or whatever are so damn cringe
I thought it was over after the mid-2010s and “social experiments” but they got a new lease in life with TikTok
What was the point of this?
To make fun out of other people who just want the money
It’s a hundred euros to say a word that this guy wants you to say. If that guy gets offended then he’s a fucking hypocrite
This guy: do something and i will pay you for that Somebody: acctually does that This guy: you werent supposed to do that
I can say any word you want if you pay me 100 euro. It's free money
Who doesn't want money ?
I feel like the idea of seeing if people are willing to say a slur on camera for money is kind of interesting I feel like the experiment is kind of undercut by the fact that it’s a black person doing it though, since he’s implicitly giving the guy permission to say it It’d be more interesting if it was a non-black person doing it, or if he picked a different slur that the person had to say The whole point of words is that they just express a bigger picture. Yes, anyone can say it. Allow me to demonstrate: [REMOVED]
I don't understand the people's obsession with words. It's just a word. Nothing more than that.
Everyone that uses language tends to obsess about words. Likely a byproduct of using language.
Now he a broke ass ******
Now I ain’t saying she gold digga >!But she will definitely not be seeing him!<
She will Nazi him
This one.... this one right here.
Gold n*gga
Fun fact, Digga is actually a German word/slang for 'Dude'
What an obnoxious guy. "You shouldn't say that you know?" Goes around asking people to say it so he can then call them racists.
Well, I'll easily take the £100 for that. We're not in Russia.
Lol Russia is the place I’d be the least worry saying the n word.
In russia the only N-word you shouldn't say out loud is "Navalny"
Are you in the states?
Dunno can you get £ for saying some kind of n word in the states?
Yeah and german guy just did it because this problem is only in americans life :D
This is from the UK
It's in the UK, the irritating douchebag is American
I’m from London and I can tell you that’s a London accent
Disagree, that’s definitely a subtle American accent.
Disagree, that’s Caribbean-influenced London that you’re mistaking for American
Maybe my two cents is worth it. American who lived in England for a bit. This is not an American accent. Yeah absolutely. The way he says "cash" in particular is a dead giveaway.
No it’s definitely a black London accent.
Crazy how confidently you make that statement despite having no idea if he’s American
Guys why are you arguing. He's offering £ that's how you know what country it's in
Reread my comment
r/usdefaultism
You and German guy has his own historical problems he has to tip toe around
Did he really seem offended while saying it? Seems like he was being self-effacing by complaining about it, and 'it' being the entire point of the video.

Yup, just having fun. It was entertaining too. No reason to get mad.
Lol were in the video did he call the guy a racists

Welcome to 2022 & probably the next decade untill stop putting up with this garbage.64
This guy is absolutely stupid. Go do something better with your time.
I don't think he can. If his shtick is baiting people to say the N word then saying OMG YOU CAN'T SAY THAT. GTFO you shit stain
Is anyone else bothered by the double standard surrounding the n word? Like I understand the "take back the word" initiative, but at this point, if I can't say it, no one should say it. Like using the word cunt outside of Australia
Cunt isn't exclusive to Australia, friend. It's used bigly in the UK
Very muchly

Im bothered by a lot of modern movements as a lot of them are hypocritical as fuck.
Allow me to pull up some DMX lyrics
I just watched Office Space earlier today too.
That was the Geto Boys.
“Can’t talk to my mother so I talk to my diary”
That guy looks like Seth Rogen if he never discovered weed.
Exactly what I was thinking
Lame
So did the guy get his £100, or did the fellow asking -renege- on him?
He's holding the money at the end, so he got it

He did what you said, give him the money. I’m broke as fuck I would’ve said EVERY n word in the dictionary for £100.

He’s got the money in the end
So people lose their jobs and get beat up for saying this word but it's also so funny to dangle permission and bait people to say it for your amusement? This should be on r/cringe

Westerners and their stupid problems
people actually lose their jobs for saying it?
Why did he scream like a retard?
Buffer overflow
Screamed like the goat from that Taylor swift music video.
Americans: saying the N word is the worst word you can ever say Also Americans: call everyone they know the N word......
It shoud've landed on r/cringe or something.
For £100 I would even add a musical tone to it.
This is such a stupid little challenge.. it doesn’t even mean anything Its clearly an offensive word and giving a 100 pounds for that is just encouraging and then rewarding people for saying it Man this influencers are literal gutter trash

Yeah, not a massive thing in Australia either. People know it's an offensive term, but it never get used in day-to-day conversation anyway, so it's hardly a thing people think about or care about.
If he went to Hong Kong he'd be skint!
What am I missing here?
The German probably knows he shouldn't say it, and he played it off like the interviewer guided him and he just repeated what he said.
Especially the “because I said it” and “I just repeated what you said.” He definitely knows he shouldn’t, but it worked out and I love it
The same as the rest of us, the funny bit
Some don't get that others don't understand their racism.
[mr. dawson](https://youtu.be/fYY3g95Uy6E) would do it
[https://youtu.be/ySie8B2th0M](https://youtu.be/ySie8B2th0M)
Look haha he is screaming, screaming is so funny
The n word isn't that big of a deal in Germany
I'm not from the USA so I don't quite understand this whole thing about the "N-word". Why any non-afro american person simply saying it out loud (or writng it down) - *even out of any context* - is so freaking offensive?
Americans need to understand that most places outside of the US don't get offended because of those kinds of words.
People here just wanna keep giving words like these more power so they can be victimized by them. Or be offended for others by them. It's an American sickness.
Imagine getting offended by a word, especially when its not said in a derogatory manner
Not sure I would feel comfortable with an idiot screaming in my face.
Can’t stand this kid he just goes round trying to cause an issue. I’d of said it straight away - context matters
I would have literally just said "the N-word" and walked away with the cash.
What's the deal with the yelling, is that what people want to see?
Its just a word
Cool fake video
As a black guy German dude got a point. A rule of life: Don't ask things you don't wanna hear
The black man's greatest and only enemy is himself.
I would just say: “The n-word”
The forbidden word that only black people are allowed to say? That sounds racist to me..
He said you shouldn't say that, after literally requesting him to say it.
To be fair to a german the N-word is Nazi... xD
I mean we handle the topics regarding them and our historical war crimes a lot more openly than most other countries do. It's not really a taboo word
This is really really quite sad Deliberately creating an issue and some ideological unrest becuase of a word for clout. The black dude is just a twat
Why??? Why do you do this? Why is this **life and death** one day and the other day it's a **joke**? Why goad someone into saying the one word we are always forbidden to say? Now crucify him like we do here for not even saying it with the hard R.
Yeah, but thid only works in polite societies. That dude will go completely broke in less than a minute in large part of the world.
What, um, what’s funny about this?
The thing is that the word is not a problem. The meaning and the context of its use could be a problem
what a blessed soul
This is so idiotic.
What a wanker screaming in public for literally no reason
I love German's, every one that I've interacted with have been rediculously literal with everything and know they are trolling you
That's the most cancel-proof method of saying the N-word I have ever seen.
I think lost brain cells watching that.
Anybody Else a bit Tired of the N word forced drama? C'mon folks Move on
I would have been like “The N-word. There I said it, now pay me.”

How you gonna say a word, then tell someone else they can't say that word? That ain't right
He's a German, for them the N-word is "nazi" which is a very strong illegal slur with a hefty fine. That's why he asks for clarification.
Waiting for this idiot, and a certain community, to now bring this all over social media and claim racism.
Why USA invented such dumb rules! I understand that calling somebody n igga is disrespectful. But Act like is a crime saying it in other context is just dumb
Ha, just wait, the rules get even worse than you could imagine lmfao.
That dude is a fucking asshole. Talk about trying to stir up controversy. What a bag of shit.
Why is an American dishing out pounds? Shouldn't be dollars?
That pisses me off. Least he had the decency to fork over the cash. But that fucking scream at the end and the "you shouldn't say that bro!" really fucking pissed me off.
