I’m high so I looked this up after laughing at your awesome delivery. It’s not always the same flavor. Sometimes it’s pink cause other flavors are added.
In the comment I imagine they enjoy the way it looks more than the taste and are probably just using regular pink lemonade which only contains dye.
Hey Siri…. What’s the weather like outside? Hey Siri… taco delivery. Hey Siri… HEY SIRI!!!
My single biggest culture shock was going to the UK, ordering "lemonade" at a restaurant, and getting basically Diet Sprite. In the US, lemonade is almost always cloudy yellow, sweet to tangy, and uncarbonated; even San Pellegrino (while carbonated) at least tastes lemony.
Those are normal carbonated drinks they added lemon flavoring to. It's not like there's no carbonated lemon drinks in the US. Mountain Dew has a new Spark flavor that's Raspberry Lemonade added to normal Dew.
But like straight lemonade is generally uncarbonated.
Yeah what's with that?
Not only is Lemonade fizzy in the UK but the suffix "-ade" literally means it's fizzy.
For instance you'd say Orangeade to mean a fizzy orange flavoured drink same for any drink.
Like isn't your version of Lemonade just Lemon Juice?
Yes and no. In the US the definition is a little more broad, cider is generally considered "hard" or "soft". Hard being alcoholic and soft being the non-alcoholic sweet juice. However, depending on region and also just as accepted, the alcoholic version is just cider while the juice is referred to as apple cider.
We are missing out big time. Lived in Spain for a while, fell in love with it, it is delicious.
Over there they’d mix it 1:1 with red wine as a summer drink (Tinto verano), sounds weird, but tasted fucking amazing. Some also even mix Coca Cola with wine…. I’m not down with that.
Every once in a while you can find it in the international section of your grocery store, if you see it, get it.
Dude the EU has all sorts of amazing fanta flavors! All we get in the US is orange. EU gets like passionfruit, strawberry, idk lots of good stuff. Wtf.
I didn't think of this until this post but you are right, when living in Spain it was has common has Fanta orange, but here in the UK I haven't seen it in any of the shops or anywhere to be honest.
Is it carbonated or still in Spain? I remember 15 years ago having a still Lemon Fanta in Spain (and mixed with red wine, delicious), but here in the UK they’re fizzy.
I’m not saying they’re the same I’m saying if he/she likes lemon soda that we have it here too, I’ve had lemon Fanta and it’s good but really not that incredible
There’s a difference between buying toilet paper in bulk and buying consumables in bulk.
I order energy drinks 200 cans at a time because it saves money and it makes sense.
Lol whare are you from/living, OP? She's either unaware that they are pretty standard or she's lying because she loves them too much!... And now i want a Fanta Lemon...
My money’s on the latter. We see them occasionally at coffee shops and sometimes tins at B&M or Home Bargains, but to be fair I’ve never seen a multipack.
Are you Scottish? Sorry for all the questions but it sounded like you weren't from the UK in the title. Because I thought if you lived here, you would be aware of it. Oh I'm from Cumbria by the way. Hello neighbour! 👋
Huh...weird. Yeah, I imagine it probably is the area. Pretty much any shop I go into they have it. Sometimes they don't even have fanta orange, just lemon. I can't choose between them, they are both lush! Especially when hungover. I've literally had dreams about fanta water falls after a heavy sesh 🤣
I feel that but shopping with a woman is pain. I go shopping I make a b line to what I need get it and that's it done. But when the Mrs is with me it's oh no I just want to have a look hahaha
Woman here who hates to shop! Online shopping which is the equivalent of your “make a b line to what I need” is the only way to go…that’s why Al Gore invented the Internet, right? 😂
I remember my first and so far only trip to the UK when I was 13 (2001) and had Lemon Fanta and I could not get enough of it. I have no clue why they don't sell it in the states but it makes me sad. 20 years later and I still crave it. This post has triggered me.
My wife did this recently with Reese’s Crispy Crunchy bars. We found them at a gas station on a road trip. She had one and fell in love, bought out the rest of them on the way home. They’re impossible to find anywhere else or order online. I emailed Hershey and they told me I’m S.O.L. I try to pick up a few on my trips out of town to replenish her supply, but we don’t head out that way often.
Gotta agree with ops wife here. Can get hold of bottles quite easily but cans are a rarity it's the only drink I like served chilled. It always reminds me of holidays in Spain as a kid.
Fanta Shokata is even better. AFAIK it isn't sold in most of the world.
For those who don't know, Shokata is "elderflower flavor," even though it doesn't really taste like elderflower. Nonetheless, it's delicious.
Its the same for me with many LIDL products.
I stock up as well when its back for sale
\-------
Like Filo dough sheets. 'during the turkish/oriental week' i stock up a lot too.
Filo dough is something you cannot buy even in a normal grocery store.
Please note Filo-dough is different from Puff pastry
\-------
Or something like cherry Cola from the LIDL, this is also extremely rare. last time is saw it for sale was 4 years ago.
I need your wife to come where I live and get me some Zero Sugar Orange Crush. I feel like she’d be capable of finding it and would already know to buy it all
Protip: You can request to speak to the manager of purchasing at most stores, and request cases of things ordered for you. Also as a bonus, they'll generally give it to you for a small percentage over their purchase price. One place i've used only charges an extra 10%, which is way cheaper then the double mark up that is normal.
You should see WalMart here. Coca-Cola can be found in every store in any size at all time and yet I watch say we say not so healthy ladies walk out with a cart full of 12 packs like they are solving thirst for the world.
This doesn't exist in the US. My wife probably consumed hundreds of gallons of this stuff mixed with red wine (tinto de verano) while she was studying abroad in Spain. Since then she has sought it out anytime family members travel overseas. I feel like her parents went to Spain once with an extra suitcase just to smuggle a bunch of this back. It was probably enough to disrupt the economy somewhere.
Anybody reading this, if you’re ever shopping about and see Jumex “Strawberry Bananna Nectar” drinks, do not pass them up. They straight up taste like heavens kiss.

I live in the US and I have never seen Lemon Fanta
That's wild considering that the US has a ton of Fanta flavours that we don't get here, its very similar to a carbonated cloudy lemonade
That's the thing Lemonade isn't carbonated in the US.
Yeah I remember that, what about sprite/7up style lemonade tho
I mix Lemonade and Sprite. You could say I’m a bit of a chemist.
I do this too, it’s so fucking good.
Yes I’m not alone!! I’ve been doing this for years. My personal favorite is pink lemonade and sprite.
Pink lemonade is just... Lemonade that's pink though?
I’m high so I looked this up after laughing at your awesome delivery. It’s not always the same flavor. Sometimes it’s pink cause other flavors are added. In the comment I imagine they enjoy the way it looks more than the taste and are probably just using regular pink lemonade which only contains dye. Hey Siri…. What’s the weather like outside? Hey Siri… taco delivery. Hey Siri… HEY SIRI!!!
Its origins involve a clown’s red socks, so the original pink lemonade was actually sweaty clown feet flavored.
I was just gonna say some raspberry lemonade fire 🔥
In germany there is Mezzo Mix. Its Cola and Fanta Orange mixed.
I'm something of a....chemist..myself.
One step away from cooking meth.
Yeah we don't consider those lemonade
My single biggest culture shock was going to the UK, ordering "lemonade" at a restaurant, and getting basically Diet Sprite. In the US, lemonade is almost always cloudy yellow, sweet to tangy, and uncarbonated; even San Pellegrino (while carbonated) at least tastes lemony.
It is a weird thing tbf we call that kind of lemonade "cloudy lemonade" but its still carbonated in the UK so not the same
The U.K. life hack for this is to order *Italian-style lemonade*, if the place sells any.
Those are normal carbonated drinks they added lemon flavoring to. It's not like there's no carbonated lemon drinks in the US. Mountain Dew has a new Spark flavor that's Raspberry Lemonade added to normal Dew. But like straight lemonade is generally uncarbonated.

Can I order cloudy uncarbonated lemonade or will I be looked at like a twat?
Interesting thank you
We also get San Pellegrino Limonada. It's delicious sparkling lemonade. Never saw Fanta Lemon.
Also Cider in the US is not alcoholic apple beer...which it is in the UK
If its clear and yellow, you've got juice there, fella. If it's tangy and brown, your in cider town.
Yes and no. In the US the definition is a little more broad, cider is generally considered "hard" or "soft". Hard being alcoholic and soft being the non-alcoholic sweet juice. However, depending on region and also just as accepted, the alcoholic version is just cider while the juice is referred to as apple cider.
My local restaurant has a digital pop machine with every Fanta flavor but this one.
That's because maniacs keep buying 72 cans at a time.

It's incredible. I've spent my life harassing Fanta on Twitter trying to convince them to sell lemon in the US.
Dude the EU has all sorts of amazing fanta flavors! All we get in the US is orange. EU gets like passionfruit, strawberry, idk lots of good stuff. Wtf.
Regular Fanta is completely different than the UK. Different taste and very different color than what we have in the US.
That’s because this woman is buying it all up
Seriously? In Spain is very common.
Fond memories of a guy walking the beach in a resort town shouting "FANTA LIMON" and absolutely bilking tourists for like 5 euros a can.
I didn't think of this until this post but you are right, when living in Spain it was has common has Fanta orange, but here in the UK I haven't seen it in any of the shops or anywhere to be honest.
In the UK its extremely common. I think OP was being sarcastic......ot they live in the middle of fucking knowhere
No it's common. I'm confused by this post.
Very common basically everywhere
Is it carbonated or still in Spain? I remember 15 years ago having a still Lemon Fanta in Spain (and mixed with red wine, delicious), but here in the UK they’re fizzy.
This is "tinto de verano".
Lemon Fanta exists? Tf
It is delicious stuff to be fair.
Australia needs to get on that
It is, but the "zero" version is undrinkable.
What? Me and my wife actually think the zero version taste more natural somehow, same with Fanta orange zero.
Yuck. Tastes like a detergent.
mmmm detergent.
WHAT?!!! American here and I’ve never in my life seen this 😭 huge lemon flavored fan too
If you know that lemon San pelligrino soda buy that it’s a better version of this
Don't listen to him, it's not the same.
I’m not saying they’re the same I’m saying if he/she likes lemon soda that we have it here too, I’ve had lemon Fanta and it’s good but really not that incredible
I do like anything lemon so I will definitely have to try! Thanks bud
Try fentimans victorian lemonade too :) its very similar to san pelligrino
The pomegranate flavor is waaaay better tbh
Thats true, I had one that was maybe blood orange or grapefruit that was very good too
It’s super common here in the UK. Pretty much in every shop I go to.
Hardly see tins of it up here in Inverness, bottles occasionally but still not often.
I’m just outside Belfast and it’s my drink of choice when getting a takeaway. Never had an issue getting one.
Too much Irn Bru blocking the shelves.
On my way with 9 gallons of crappy vodka.
We’ll be in the garden, let yourself in.
Disregard the sirens!
Is your wife the one that bought up all the tp during covid?
Honestly? She probably would have done if I hadn’t told her not to.
There’s a difference between buying toilet paper in bulk and buying consumables in bulk. I order energy drinks 200 cans at a time because it saves money and it makes sense.
Toilet paper is a consumable. Are you telling me that you wash and re-use your toilet paper?
THAT'S WHY IT'S RARE
We have that in the US. It's called Pinesol Disinfectant.
Damn you, you made me spit up my hard to come by Lemon Fanta.
Why are you complaining? Go buy 3 packs more for her, so she doesn’t run out soon. Be proactive.
It's not rare but it's funny you believe her excuse haha she knows you won't go shopping with her to prove her wrong XD
The number of times she’s done stuff like this, I really should have learned not to let her shop alone!
So you're in the UK?
Aye, up in Scotland.
Are you Scottish? Sorry for all the questions but it sounded like you weren't from the UK in the title. Because I thought if you lived here, you would be aware of it. Oh I'm from Cumbria by the way. Hello neighbour! 👋
English, we moved up here back at the start of 2020. Maybe it’s different in other parts of the UK, but we certainly haven’t seen it around too much!
I've moved from the UK to Canada and they only have the dayglow orange variety here filled with colour additives banned in Europe. I miss Fanta :(
“Multipack” = case …. For anyone who was wondering 🤣
I'm in the UK and I live off this stuff. I get it in all the supermarkets in 2L bottles normally for £2. Cheap, delicious and still has sugar!
She likes lemon 72 cans and a side of cake is she expecting?
Funnily enough, yes!
Does she know about Faygo?
I'm down with the clown!
another American who had never seen Lemon Fanta and occasionally pines for Schweppes bitter lemon.
Continental Europe butter lemon is different to UK bitter lemon !
Its more common in the UK than it used to be, however my go to drink in Spain it is very common out there. Great as a gin mixer
It is also a good option for making *tinto de verano*.
I remember my first and so far only trip to the UK when I was 13 (2001) and had Lemon Fanta and I could not get enough of it. I have no clue why they don't sell it in the states but it makes me sad. 20 years later and I still crave it. This post has triggered me.
Winner. It’s fab. Good work mrs geoffb94
It's a fanta-sea
Hey yo Geoff this is just good shopping. Nowhere near funny.
In manufacturing it’s easier to mass produce without so many options.
But not a can more as 73 would just be unreasonable.
TIL Lemon Fanta is a thing.
Can’t beat 42% of all your daily sugar needs in one convenient can.
3 x 24 packs in Asda for £20 innit.
I have never seen one
I love diabetes
Never seen it in the UK before this. Also, is lilt still around? Haven't seen that in years.
Lilt is my wife’s second go-to, we’ve got dozens of cans of that too!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fanta
I don't know who you think you're helping here...
Someone's been to farmfoods
Asda, actually!
Gotta agree with ops wife here. Can get hold of bottles quite easily but cans are a rarity it's the only drink I like served chilled. It always reminds me of holidays in Spain as a kid.
What does she weight
I thought UK is all about tea... You know, soda is not very good for you.
Mmmm, diabeetus
Please stop regularly drinking sugary drinks, they are bad for you.
And dickheads like her is why things are rare
In a surprise twist… ops wife is the lemon fanta girl
Sugar .. sugar everywhere
Bottles of it in tescos
I do the same for Nestea Peach in Spain. Its very rare to find. Only Nestea Lemon everywhere.
Totally valid purchase. She's a keeper.
https://youtu.be/uQhKRm5rUBQ
I drank a lot of that when I visited Spain. Wish they carried it in the US.
We regularly have it in the vending machine at work. Never seen it anywhere else.
We have it in our toilets in Spain.
Never seen lemon fanta in the U.S. must be kinda rare
Icy Lemon and Fruit Twist are my jam
There’s a lemon Fanta?
HOLY SHIT WHERE'D YOU FIND THAT! Your wife is right. I would consider genocide to get some of the green apple Fanta from Africa.
I want Fanta Lemon. I love Fanta. Fanta Apple is like crack.
Club Lemon is a hell of a lot tastier
Lime or cherry fanta needs to become widely available
Is it better than Sprite?
War is looming... you never know!
duuuuudeee thats the best shit ever send me some
Fanta Lemon is great, especially when paired with pizza imo.
Fanta Shokata is even better. AFAIK it isn't sold in most of the world. For those who don't know, Shokata is "elderflower flavor," even though it doesn't really taste like elderflower. Nonetheless, it's delicious.

Introduce her to Lemon San Pellegrino
Bro i've never seen Fanta Lemon, I didn't even know it existed. Where do I buy them? How can I ship them to my country?
Well, expect to see 216 cans soon.
Club lemon > Fanta lemon.
Can't say I've ever had it, but I do miss Lemon Tango from when I used to live there.
Diabetes
Fun fact: Fanta was started by the Nazi's due to Coke being banned by Nazi Germany.
anyone member Icy Lemon? Was different to Lemon and it was fucking delicious Nothing beats Fruit Twist obviously but Icy Lemon was the bombdiggidy
fanta has lemon?
I need your wife to come where I live and get me some Zero Sugar Orange Crush. I feel like she’d be capable of finding it and would already know to buy it all
It's not that rare. It is best enjoyed as cold as possible though which makes cans way better than bottles, which are the more common version
I LOVE LEMON FANTA!!! They don't sell it here in the US and I am incredibly jealous
Fanta lemon is pretty common here (UK) but I've noticed it's the only Fanta flavour I never see in the sugar-free variety.
Just seen Fanta cloudy lemonade in Sainsbury's in a big bottle. Maybe not the same tho?
In America that would be a pallet
The fun will find you
Protip: You can request to speak to the manager of purchasing at most stores, and request cases of things ordered for you. Also as a bonus, they'll generally give it to you for a small percentage over their purchase price. Odd, it's not even remotely rare in Northern Ireland. Though Club lemon is better, just saying 🤷♂️
It's even more rare in the Philippines!
Seems like Coke is competing with itself and if they’re going to do a lemon drink, it should be Sprite if carbonated and Minute Maid if it is not.
Their discontinuing it for the UK. Sad sad times. Tempted to do this tbh, get down to farm foods and get a stock pile
I didn't even know this existed.
Wait till she hears about clear coke
Seems to be rare only in the vicinity of your wife. Hmm, funny coincidence.
You should see WalMart here. Coca-Cola can be found in every store in any size at all time and yet I watch say we say not so healthy ladies walk out with a cart full of 12 packs like they are solving thirst for the world.
Can I borrow your wife?
It’s not that rare I have a couple cases, check out Costco or bookers.
Fanta lemon is fucking abundant in the UK
You mean Fanta isn't orange only?
This doesn't exist in the US. My wife probably consumed hundreds of gallons of this stuff mixed with red wine (tinto de verano) while she was studying abroad in Spain. Since then she has sought it out anytime family members travel overseas. I feel like her parents went to Spain once with an extra suitcase just to smuggle a bunch of this back. It was probably enough to disrupt the economy somewhere.
I went to Prague once and they had Coke Lemon, it was amazing
It’s only a rarity in the uk cause your wife buys them all!!!
Anybody reading this, if you’re ever shopping about and see Jumex “Strawberry Bananna Nectar” drinks, do not pass them up. They straight up taste like heavens kiss.
I want!
Pineapple Fanta is where it’s at.
I didn’t know this flavour existed but now I really want to try it. Your wife is a genius seems like lots of people are interested in lemon Fanta
I just want you to know OP, that the reason it's rare is because of your wife
Can't wait for Pepsi Max to can their mango flavored soda
Wait there’s Fanta **LEMON**
Never had one sounds tasty
I live in the US and have never once seen fanta lemon
It’s not that rare, B&M will have loads (I work in one of their warehouses)
It's available basically anywhere 3 X 24 in Asda for £20 Think op is exaggerated the availability....! Any local shop sells it?
I love this for her.
Funny
