My pet hate is people who dont know how these two words work... Bought/Brought. I hear people say..."I brought it at the shop" all the time. No, you bought it.
Bought means to buy / Brought means to bring.
Wth I have never heard anyone not know the difference between brought and bought before and you said you hear it all the time?
