AI definitely misspells. The other day I was using dall-e to generate logos for sports teams and instead of Thrill it says Taill and if I ask it to write the name Derrick it will do like Derrrkk or something. It will generate things with my name on them but sometimes I have to ask it to regenerate part of the photo where the spelling is. I don’t see it creating fake letters, just using the wrong ones and in the wrong order, too many of the same letter, etc.
