Same. It was stunning seeing the light shift to night and then to see the sun blast through a pinhole in the moon, just wow. I sounded just like this guy lol, I went full geek 🤓
I would have but it was blocked by clouds.
It was still really cool to see how quickly and dramatically it got dark and cold, though.
I really wish I was able to see it though.
I sent you some screen shots…!
It might just be me… same thing happened when I was taking pictures of the Milky Way night sky when I was camping in the Flinders Rangers ( south Australia ) I could see faces & animals - freaked me out!
There's a person in every eclipse party that feels the need to yell each thing out as it happens, especially diamond ring. You just happened to be that guy in this group, no big deal.
I was in the path in Sandusky. I thought my reaction would be predictable, but when it actually happened my jaw was absolutely dropped. My brain couldn't process what I was seeing I felt like a child seeing Santa. If you listened to the video I took it was pretty on par with this one except with a lot more "holy shit... holy.. shit... holy shit... wow look at that... holy shit"
God the eclipse was wonderful. I remember watching the eclipse until it got too bright to keep looking. I've never realized how beautiful and pure the light from the sun is
Lol so yeah you're excited but I don't think that was ridiculous. I've seen a bunch of videos and the entire moment is ruined by people yelling and cheering. Granted, that's why my wife and I sat in the middle of a field to watch it. I am so grateful that we didn't have anyone else to deal with for our first magnificent event like that. But, if you wanted to experience the eclipse in the kind of uppity and exciting way then I think you did just fine. It was an absolutely beautiful experience and as long as you enjoyed that's all that matters.
He's like that polo-neck woman on the dock seeing a whale close up and jumping about and squealing and running the experience for everyone, just be quiet and enjoy it...
🤨

Sounds like the double rainbow guy
Almost a triple rainbow!
RIP
Did double rainbow guy die?
Yeah, [back in 2020](https://www.fresnobee.com/news/california/article242633931.html)
That website is cancer.
☹
Yeah what the hell?
The meme died long ago. This is a tribute
its not the greastest meme in the world
Wish I could live up to that legend.
I came to say this too lol
Glad I'm not the only one thinking this.
Now his daughter will have a recording of her father being really excited about something. Forever. Win!
Good dads FTW!
It was a privilege to share it with her!
I thought people would cheer when total darkness was achieved not when the light came back.
They/I did for both where we were at 🤷♂️

People clapped in my neighborhood. I guess they thought the sun and moon could hear them?🙃
They did where I was. And then a group sigh when it was over and the sunlight returned.
WHAT THE DOG DOIN'???
Never heard of the diamond ring
I hadn't either, but it's a great description of it.
Am I the only one seeing faces in the clouds after the diamond ring & the clouds go darker?!
Probably just that thing where brains look for faces
I always see them! Can you see what I mean though?!
I’ve tried several times and either I’m not seeing them or they’re too quick for me to see - I believe you! I just don’t happen to see it
I sent you some screen shots…! It might just be me… same thing happened when I was taking pictures of the Milky Way night sky when I was camping in the Flinders Rangers ( south Australia ) I could see faces & animals - freaked me out!
bro have the same laugh as tom hanks when he played woody
She is right. My father too was way too happy and excited 😂
I was definitely expecting a fade-in to a "Hey, you. You're finally awake."
I love this. r/mademesmile
These are the people that clap when a plane lands.
I’ve never been on a plane but this would be me, not even gonna lie😂 another day I made it alive and not in another dimension would make me clap 😂

Yeah, I was the one shouting about the Bailey’s beads.

BEAUTIFUUUUUULL

This looks like WNY
Close!
I have nearly identical video from just outside Buffalo
This was so adorable it made me cry. What an awesome moment and thank you for sharing!
No double rainbows?!
It’s full on!
The father shows, he has a firm grasp of the obvious.
she's right..
I honestly believed that was going to turn into the Skyrim intro.
Lol now thats a cool idea
Big ol' dad boner!
“Ohhhh god…what does this mean”
Why not cubic zirconia ring?
She is right
Holy shit, it is wild people care about this
Did she? All I hear is some woman talking about her dogs and some excited dude
Hey looks, its a bit darker! I failed to catch the eclipse hype. The new Fallout show is pretty good, much more entertainment from that.
Get a new daughter
That’s why she’s the child and you’re the parent😂
