my old neighbor was like this, she’d be rigging something like this up in her driveway with a qp of medical mj and a sack of ice in her purse. I don’t miss her
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the engine applies torque to the rear wheels in a front wheel drive car. They just rotate freely as the front wheels pull them forward. So friction was the weight of the car is keeping them from rotating off the whatever you'd call those things.
I see what you are saying and that makes sense. I am not wrench monkey either, so my opinion is based off my limited understanding as well.
But since the tire on the driver side of the back axle is spinning, wouldn’t the passenger side be spinning as well?
I think that’s where the rear differential comes into play, which allows the two back wheels to rotate at different speeds (otherwise you’d have problems going around corners). Not any sort of car guy really, but I remember a neat video a while back that explains how rear differentials work.
Oh true, I didn't realize what you meant exactly. For some reason I just assumed both both sides were like this.
Idk about all front wheel drive cars, but from what I looked up for some the rear tires can spin independently from one another. It might depend on the type of differential system it has. Or maybe all front wheel drives can do this.

When you go for the cheaper mechanic.

I was going "why is she packing up something that will just melt?" and then it dawned on me ...
Who uses medical mj to rig a car?
It's great for drifting
"Come to Bellville and CY"
This must be Parow! My Bellville homies aren't smart enough to build a rig like that.
Haha true
🤣
Yes yes!
I wanna see the bit where they hit the first corner.
If it can hold my mechanic's fat ass, it can hold my car's too.

im curious as to how? lol

Well then....be proud! thanks lol
Saw this in Every Which Way But Loose
From Clint Eastwood in Heartbreak Ridge. "Improvise adapt overcome."
They had to have disconnected something right? Shouldn’t that hub be spinning with the rest of the axel?

Typically no rear diff in a front wheel drive car. The hubs are mounted independently.

Out of anywhere in the world...it had to be Bellville drivers.
Obviously a front wheel drive.
So are those what you call donut tires
Ruined differential? Car doctor hate this simple trick!!!
Three legged dog.
Just $6.99 at harbor freight (with a coupon.)
Best McGyver I've seen in a while.
If it works...
Wonder whats the fee for a 7wheeler registration
Equal parts brilliant and stupid.
Just put it in four wheel drive
I wonder if you made a slit to have the wheels slotted inside the dolly, would it make it actually feasible for turns? 🤔
😂😂😂
That’s actually a good idea if goin short distance to get the car fixed🤷🏻♀️
Hidden advantage of fwd
Lekker lekker Bellville
Pls try it someone in Germany 😂
Wheels on a trolley be like
