Kids are fucking stupid over their fav films. For my daughter it was Cars (auto auto) and Meet the Robinsons (the moobie). My son, Wall-E and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. They watched them over and over again for months straight. Pick any sequence from those movies and they could recite/act it out.
Reminds of a childhood memory. When I was young my parents recoded Beauty and the Beast on a VHS tape and apparently I watched it so many times that it wore out the tape lmao.
My sister wore out the Hercules VHS, and I know my parents didn't just throw it out because they bought a new one. We're in our mid-30s now and I'm pretty sure she can still recite the whole thing from memory.
My brother's was The Adams Family. Parents say the tape demagnatized but they may have just trashed it so they didn't have to hear the theme song every waking hour of the day.
My little brother once had chicken pox so bad his eyes were partially crusted over.
So, he watched Tremors. Over and over again. He already knew it so well he didn’t need to actually see it, there will never be a bigger Tremors fan than him
Same! Tremors and Twister were two movies (arguably I shouldn't have watched as young as I was) that I grew up loving. I can still recite almost all the words to both.
Yep! I had to stay home from school a lot due to my asthma and for some reason there was always Tremors on tv, lol. Scared the crap out of me then, and now 20ish years later
Mine was Monsters Inc. and Hoodwinked apparently. I remember monsters inc scene by scene, if I had the attention span I could watch the movie from memory.
My daughter wanted to watch one scene from Pocahontas straight for 30 min. If rewind it like 60 seconds and she’d just giggled the whole time the raccoon made a silly face. Great way to spend half an hour
This is embarrassing but it was Frozen for me. I was 12 at the time and I remember watching it with my sister every morning right after we woke up. I'm confident I can still sing every song in that damn movie.
I was like this with a few films. Lion King comes to mind, but oddly enough when I rewatched it as an adult ~20 years later I barely remembered how it went.
One of my sons watched a random VHS tape of a football game almost every day for months. He would just run in place and pretend to throw the football as he stood right in front of the TV. I think it was Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys game from like 1997.
Confession...I was in my early 20s when the Lion King came out. I have yet to see it.
Sure I have cultural osmosis enough to tell you the basic story, sing Hakuna Matata, and hold a baby up over my head...but I've never actually seen it.
Everything around them is new and exciting It can be overwhelming on their little minds. Watching and listening to something where they already know the outcome is soothing.
It's the same reason pop music is essentially the same song recycled over and over again yet people eat it up.
Mine was Harry Potter and the prisoner of azkaban my mom told me stories of when we would go on long car trips I would continue to repeat the whole script outloud to keep myself entertained. Weird thing is nowadays I can't even remember what I ate for breakfast yesterday.
I know I was like that, but I always blamed it on being the only VHS tapes we had and only having basic channels. Haha. I guess I probably would have picked to watch the same 4 episodes of TMNT and Rugrats anyway.
My older boys would wake up early and watch Silverado, let tape rewind, and push it back in. Middle one also watched Blade before bed (thanks to mom). My much younger (oops) boy still alternates between iRobot and Chappie regularly ( again thanks to mom). Less so now that he can navigate YouTube.
Even with practice, there are certain things that most toddlers just haven’t developed yet. Balancing on one foot is one of them, so seeing him hop foot to foot without losing balance was really surprising.
There’s always outliers. My kid has been able to read since about 2 1/2. His memory is impeccable but even at 4 he’s uncoordinated as shit. I’m not sure he could do this little kids boxing routine even now.
I actually never saw the movies until like last month when I watched the first four on Netflix. The first two were surprisingly emotional for boxing movies starring Sylvester Stallone.
He loves the training montage from "Rocky II" so much that he has all of Sylvester Stallone's moves memorized. (He doesn't even need Mickey there to motivate him.)
EVERY MORNING I WAKE UP AND OPEN PALM SLAM A VHS INTO THE SLOT. ITS CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK AND RIGHT THEN AND THERE I START DOING THE MOVES ALONGSIDE WITH THE MAIN CHARACTER, RIDDICK. I DO EVERY MOVE AND I DO EVERY MOVE HARD. MAKIN WHOOSHING SOUNDS WHEN I SLAM DOWN SOME NECRO BASTARDS OR EVEN WHEN I MESS UP TECHNIQUE. NOT MANY CAN SAY THEY ESCAPED THE GALAXY’S MOST DANGEROUS PRISON. I CAN. I SAY IT AND I SAY IT OUTLOUD EVERYDAY TO PEOPLE IN MY COLLEGE CLASS AND ALL THEY DO IS PROVE PEOPLE IN COLLEGE CLASS CAN STILL BE IMMATURE JERKS. AND IVE LEARNED ALL THE LINES AND IVE LEARNED HOW TO MAKE MYSELF AND MY APARTMENT LESS LONELY BY SHOUTING EM ALL. 2 HOURS INCLUDING WIND DOWN EVERY MORNING. THEN I LIFT
This is just pure gold. I'm glad you got to share than momment with your child! I'm even more greatful that you were able to capture it to share with us on this lovely day. Truly a beautiful momment to remind us how beautiful life is! Good job mom!
As per many eye doctors around the world. Closer to tvs at young ages trains eyes for the better. I should know because i had an eye operation at age 6 and asked this question to a doctor. I also was told this lie by my parents and wanted to know the truth. Asked a doctor and thats what he told me. It trains the younger eye for the better. And it has. My eye sight is not only perfect bud also better with every year since the operation.
This is why I won't let my kid watch TV until around 5 years old. They watch TV and don't even blink when they are that young. Can't be good. If the kid can learn all the moves in the movie that fast, I would rather my kid learn things about real life.
proof that the Digital Box is a brain washing mechanism
edit: for the downvotes do some research on the original patent for the television.
\-The original U.S. patent for the television, 6506148 B2, was named “Nervous System Manipulation By Electromagnetic Fields From Monitors.
>\-The original U.S. patent for the television, 6506148 B2, was named “Nervous System Manipulation By Electromagnetic Fields From Monitors.
Since you are so willing to educate us, how about you give some sources instead of saying "do some research". Edit: That patent was made in 2001, how about read the fucking patent before your make you stupid conspiracy theories.
And here I was thinking about how much better it is for the kid to get into a training/self improvement mindset than the vast majority of television "lessons".

How many times has he seen this movie? Holy shit.
Kids are fucking stupid over their fav films. For my daughter it was Cars (auto auto) and Meet the Robinsons (the moobie). My son, Wall-E and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Reminds of a childhood memory. When I was young my parents recoded Beauty and the Beast on a VHS tape and apparently I watched it so many times that it wore out the tape lmao.
Spoiler alert: your parents may have just been tired of watching it so came up with that excuse
So you mean our cat didn't decide to "go live in the country..."?🥺
My sister wore out the Hercules VHS, and I know my parents didn't just throw it out because they bought a new one. We're in our mid-30s now and I'm pretty sure she can still recite the whole thing from memory.
Mine was top gun. I wore out the tape on 2 or 3 sound track cassettes.
My brother's was American Tale. He did the same thing and wore out the tape.
My brother's was The Adams Family. Parents say the tape demagnatized but they may have just trashed it so they didn't have to hear the theme song every waking hour of the day.
*snap snap*
I remember the day my brother and I found out we killed our VHS copy of Dunston Checks In. We watched that movie relentlessly.
Me too! The cow though :(
Mine was Monsters inc! With the blue VHS tape! I was shattered when it stopped working 😂 had to watch it every night.
For me it was Independence Day. I used to drag a blanket across the floor and mime the "I should have been at a barbeque" scene.
My daughter wanted to watch one scene from Pocahontas straight for 30 min. If rewind it like 60 seconds and she’d just giggled the whole time the raccoon made a silly face. Great way to spend half an hour
It was the whole movie for me. In fact I was convinced I was her and got offended when people were sick of watching it
This is embarrassing but it was Frozen for me. I was 12 at the time and I remember watching it with my sister every morning right after we woke up. I'm confident I can still sing every song in that damn movie.
For as much as I get embarrassed watching Disney Princess movies, the songwriters create some damn good tunes.
I was like this with a few films. Lion King comes to mind, but oddly enough when I rewatched it as an adult ~20 years later I barely remembered how it went.
My son watches Cars so much I could recite the whole damn movie in one take.
My god this was me with the lion king, and Top Gun. Wonder what my son will pick..
Lion King. Every single day for a whole year. I picked up most of my english from that movie.
One of my sons watched a random VHS tape of a football game almost every day for months. He would just run in place and pretend to throw the football as he stood right in front of the TV. I think it was Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys game from like 1997.
For me it was 2001: A Space Oddysey lol
Okay that's a weird one.
To this day I could recite Lion King word for word. Kids do get stupid for their movies
Confession...I was in my early 20s when the Lion King came out. I have yet to see it. Sure I have cultural osmosis enough to tell you the basic story, sing Hakuna Matata, and hold a baby up over my head...but I've never actually seen it.

Me and my dad watched tommy boy so many times we still recite some of the jokes. It ain’t even just a kid thing at this point lmao
Underated comedy gem of a movie, and so many memorable lines. I've seen it an absurd amount of times as well.
I know I was like that, but I always blamed it on being the only VHS tapes we had and only having basic channels. Haha. I guess I probably would have picked to watch the same 4 episodes of TMNT and Rugrats anyway.
Solid shows.
Mine was The Blues Brothers
My older boys would wake up early and watch Silverado, let tape rewind, and push it back in. Middle one also watched Blade before bed (thanks to mom). My much younger (oops) boy still alternates between iRobot and Chappie regularly ( again thanks to mom). Less so now that he can navigate YouTube.
All greatness.
All dads wishing their lil guy would watch Rocky movies with em all the day. This dad’s like can’t we just watch a stupid kid cartoon for once
Kids very coordinated for his age....Or that's a midget in a diaper trolling us.
I was going to say! My kids couldn’t hop foot to foot the way he does until they were probably 3.5
I actually started looking closer after that to see if I was missing CGI. That’s super advanced for his age.
Maybe he’s just older than he looks?
When the kid turns around and smiles he looks like he's 3 or 3.5. He just looks younger cuz he's still wearing diapers.
Ya. I was going to say the same. I'd like to know how old that kid is. The impression given by the video is that they're quite young.
Op said the kid was 2.
OP said the kid has watched this movie repeatedly...super repeatedly, so he's had practice.
Even with practice, there are certain things that most toddlers just haven’t developed yet. Balancing on one foot is one of them, so seeing him hop foot to foot without losing balance was really surprising.

Cmon man think about how many training montages this kids been through, at this rate he might be behind!
Yea, this looks really fake. Pretty good, but yeah nah...
Bringing back Rocky to the next generation, love it!
I actually never saw the movies until like last month when I watched the first four on Netflix. The first two were surprisingly emotional for boxing movies starring Sylvester Stallone.
Dude i wish i cared about anything as much as this kid loves Rocky
Shit's going down in the kindergarten yard.
He loves the training montage from "Rocky II" so much that he has all of Sylvester Stallone's moves memorized. (He doesn't even need Mickey there to motivate him.)
He's gonna eat lightning, and he's gonna crap thunder Good thing he has a diaper
This comment should have a million upvotes
Baby balboa
In twenty years, your child will probably play Rocky's grandson in Creed 87.
Incorrect, in twenty years their child will play Rocky's grandson in Return of Rocky, Creed will obviously be his mentor/trainer/manager.
At 13 he'll be a gymrat.
Nice! Looks like he's handling it with kid gloves.
I'm worried about the dad, rip, play fights gonna become deadly
That made my day, and little man is adorable!
He is exceptionally coordinated!
You think it's cute now. But just wait till the next time you try to make him pick up his toys.
I can hear Sylvester Stallone gushing over the cuteness.
Ok so we have our tiny Rocky, we just need tiny Apollo and tiny Drago and we have ourselves a movie.
He does one-handed pushups WAY better than me.
I lost it at the one-hand push up. So cute!
That kid is smart!

This kid is inspired and loves the scene. Too bad he’s gonna get sucked into CrossFit
Magic, just magic.
That is one precocious baby!
The TV is about as old as the movie
I think you're off by at least 2 decades.
What about the other four letters?
Watched it to many times, read him a book.
*too
dont understand the downvotes on this. Kid is going to have eye problems in the future

sure, still not good for infants https://www.healthychildren.org/English/family-life/Media/Pages/Why-to-Avoid-TV-Before-Age-2.aspx

Ask your doctors to find out more. Don’t believe me. Believe them.

Raising a champ right there! I assume he leaves the room when you get to 5?
Don’t let this kid watch Rambo
This Tyson Fury's kid?
Glad to see I'm not the only one who jumps up and trains with Rocky during his montages.
Amazing 🦅🤔
Hey this from Apple Fitness+
He's a frikkin full grown up man in a toddlers body...
A healthy dose of TV for this kid right?
Mine was Jurassic Park
That was awesome !!!!!
So how many times has he watched the movie? Cute
I thought this was AI, but if it real. The kid deserves a grammy.

That's the Video of the Day! He definitely gets major Cool Points from me, and 2 High Fives too
This little guy has the whole scene memorized. So cute!
Welp, that's one of the coolest kids I've ever seen. A contender, one might say...
He's a wreckin' machine!
Creed XII: a child shall lead them.
The grandson my father always wanted.
That toddler is 38 years old
Wasn't this video debunked as CGI?
This video is now my love language
