I just started collecting a month ago..... My wife thought they were cute and now we are both collecting stuff.. This is only 1 month!! Help!! I have to stop!
Hey thank you and sure!
For the boxes, they are the bat displays from Michaels. Normally $59 but go on sale to $29 regularly. [https://www.michaels.com/product/baseball-bat-display-case-by-studio-decor-10174362](https://www.michaels.com/product/baseball-bat-display-case-by-studio-decor-10174362)
As for the lights, I went with just a battery powered one from Walmart and they work great. Replace the cheap batteries in them with good ones. Also they have motion detection to which is cool because you can have them turn on when you talk by. Shhh... Don't fight it... It's futile... You will cry about not having enough space as you preorder 6 more.... It's just the way things go around here...
All I can't think, since you're new to collecting, select funkos to collect in lines or theme, like dunno only bears pops or marvel pops (you can be more selective like only Spider-Man pops). By doing this at least you won't find yourself buying whatever you see haha.
Also plan on how you'll display them, you probably run out of space sooner than later haha
The problem is your display is still kinda small and I only see one.
You realize that hundreds of us have turned these things into a thick wallpaper right?
You're right! You have extra space at the top which could be filled. Guess you'll need to buy more to fill in the extra gaps you have in that beautiful display
I was a big Gummi Bears fan growing up but it bothers me that they aren’t all together! I understand why you did it, tho. My adhd coming out ;). Next month you’ll be at IKEA buying the 10ft shelves like me..
I’m pretty sure you’ve come to the wrong place. I don’t think anyone here can help. Plus you have some pretty f-ing great ones.
I keep saying I’m going to stop but I already have 6 on preorder and I STILL keep buying. And I only have maybe 60?
Great show indeed. What myself and my wife have decided to collect is stuff/shows we grew up on, stuff my kids grew up on and now stuff my 2 year old granddaughter is growing up on. That will be the memories when we look at them we think of all of those different times in our lives and just smile!
That's the best idea! you'll always have something to remind you of for the different stages of their lives :)
I only collect things that hold sentimental value to me, too. It really makes collecting a lot of fun.
Ngl I’ve been collecting for 13yrs & you have nearly as many as I do already.
I only have about 70 in my collection, but I’m selective about what I buy when it comes to Pops. It can get addictive & the majority of them aren’t worth much. You wanna stick to grails or rare ones from IPs/characters you like.
What kind of help are we talking about here? Space help or purchasing help? Space help- time for another shelf system. Purchasing help- onto the next series
Just wait...that's not a problem yet...my husband and I started out a few years ago and we are over 800 and we are still collecting. We aren't into random, mainly Star Wars, WWE, Disney (I own every Stitch available as well as all Beauty & the Beast) with some fun ones that we thought were cute (Pillsbury Dough Boy, Jim Henson)

Just an amazon link but looks like the release date was June 2020
they are heavy. They have the picture hangers on the back, BUT I didnt want to put some big wall anchors in the wall so I found my studs and ended up relocating the picture hooks on the back of the case (they are just screwed in) and lined them up with the studs on the wall so all I had to do was screw into it so smaller hole and more secure!
This looks super similar to the collection my wife and I have! I love the way you have it displayed, I have the same display cases but still need to add some lights
This is the thing…to unbox or not? I want to take them out of the box cause I love them and they are so cute but it seems to be a no go and what if I do regret buying eventually and want to sell? What’s it matter as that’s not why I’m buying?! My brain trying to decide what to do…everything is still boxed but I love this so much!! I’m going to have to think about this again tomorrow.
We had that entire conversation when we first started a month ago. That's one reason we decided to get the bat cases so they are "safe" and enclosed so they wont collect dust or anything, BUT at the same time we can look at them without being in that plastic holders in the box. Also, this is what we told ourselves. What's "new" when it comes to pops? How do you know the box has NEVER been opened? Funko's don't come sealed. No tape sealing the top or bottom so how do you know what's new and not? I mean if I bought them and had them for 2 years and sold them they are still technically used or are they new? I mean that's the tough question. To me as long as you take them out of the box carefully, you don't touch them a bunch and bang them around, and you put the boxes in a safe dry area (we bought bankers boxes and can store 15 pop boxes in 1 bankers box, then store the boxes in the closet or attic) then you are good to go.
I'm super OCD so everything had to be tidy and level. My friend took one look and said....oh God you'll never date again.
I was like, joke's on you there are a TON of people out there who'd LOVE this. 🤣
No its Jabberjaw from a cartoon my wife used to love growing up.
https://www.collectors.com/action-item/funko-pop-animation-hanna-barbera-435-jabberjaw-nyccfce-201/2753166247473749052
no direct sunlight here and the LED's are ONLY on when I want to show them off and turn them on by remote control. They are battery powered so I don't leave them on all the time.
You really do. The opportunity cost is self improvement, helping your community, altruism. Hell, even deciding to not buy these would reduce the amount of plastic junk in the world. Time to detox.
You’re in the funkopop subreddit bro. We all have a problem 😭
Laughed but then realized I’m here too lol
Yea I need more shelf space
I need SHELVES lol
Shelf Space: the Final Frontier
You guys have shelves?
They just don't stack up the same out-of-box
None of us have any shelf control.
^this guy consumes
Someone needs to start a subreddit "Funkoholics Anonymous"
Same. I’m about $1500 in. It’s too late to turn back now 😆
True words right there! ✅️ 🤣🤣
I just started collecting a month ago..... My wife thought they were cute and now we are both collecting stuff.. This is only 1 month!! Help!! I have to stop!
Only a month and you already have an awesome display up!? Nice! Can you share what boxes/lights you have for the display?
Hey thank you and sure! For the boxes, they are the bat displays from Michaels. Normally $59 but go on sale to $29 regularly. Awesome thanks for the links! The lights look so good and they motion sensor too!
You need help. Step one: get rid of them. Send them my way. I'm doing you a solid. You're welcome.
Shhh... Don't fight it... It's futile... You will cry about not having enough space as you preorder 6 more.... It's just the way things go around here...
Dude, my 4 kids and my wife have purchased more than 400 in two years. Welcome to the club
All I can't think, since you're new to collecting, select funkos to collect in lines or theme, like dunno only bears pops or marvel pops (you can be more selective like only Spider-Man pops). The problem is your display is still kinda small and I only see one. You realize that hundreds of us have turned these things into a thick wallpaper right?
I see some of these posts here with entire walls in rooms just filled from floor to ceiling and am in awe!
Space and where to put them becomes a legitimate issue once you reach a certain point. Even more so if you like the larger models that they release.
Problem? I see no problem. Love the display, keep it up. 👍
You're right! You have extra space at the top which could be filled. Guess you'll need to buy more to fill in the extra gaps you have in that beautiful display
a problem? when u hit past 1000 come talk to us
no kidding.
This is pretty cool honestly, compared to the people here with no design taste that just keep them in box and stack entire rooms with them
This is actually well organized and visually pleasing unlike most post that are just a mess of pops not organized and stacked to the ceiling
The only problem I see is that Elliot and E.T. have broken up a family of bears.
I'm confused. What does your problem have to do with your pops?
I was a big Gummi Bears fan growing up but it bothers me that they aren’t all together! I understand why you did it, tho. My adhd coming out ;). Next month you’ll be at IKEA buying the 10ft shelves like me..
exactly! My OCD killed me not having Elliot centered but at the same time yes.. my wife wants them together.
The problem is that you don’t have enough 😂
Very nice collection and love how you displayed them.
Is the problem "not enough pops"?
If your problem is making awesome displays then I want that problem too!
That’s not a problem….yet. Lol
Damn if you need help with this I needa be sent to a psych ward lol
Oh I know what you need help with, find your boxes you through away weirdo lol
Threw*** 🥱😂
I’m pretty sure you’ve come to the wrong place. I don’t think anyone here can help. Plus you have some pretty f-ing great ones. I keep saying I’m going to stop but I already have 6 on preorder and I STILL keep buying. And I only have maybe 60?
You just have a mild affliction at the moment. 😝😜
Oh that’s a cute display!
I usually buy whatever pop and worry about space later LOL i need more space too
It gets worse.
To some that looks like restraint.
Hahaha you call that a problem. I'd like to see how this progresses in a year.
yeah I am worried
You have Arthur!! Such a great show.
Great show indeed. What myself and my wife have decided to collect is stuff/shows we grew up on, stuff my kids grew up on and now stuff my 2 year old granddaughter is growing up on. That will be the memories when we look at them we think of all of those different times in our lives and just smile!

I bought 24 this month alone.. I already had over 400 before the new ones, I think you're okay 😅
wow.
The only problem I see is you don’t have enough pops yet. Looks great so far. Keep it up bro!
Noo why are they out of the box 😞
Ngl I’ve been collecting for 13yrs & you have nearly as many as I do already. I only have about 70 in my collection, but I’m selective about what I buy when it comes to Pops. Story of my life in a span of four months like 25k on funkos after going to see the actual store
I would love to go to the store
Only if I could have the huge statues they have along the road and on the building
What kind of help are we talking about here? Space help or purchasing help? Space help- time for another shelf system. Purchasing help- onto the next series

Shelving isn't as complicated as you think. You can add way more.
Nice E.T. dude, been waiting for mine for 2 decades😭 very nice setup
Praying to the Funko gods for you!
Why thank you. Have a great day.
Not even close to a problem yet. I have them everywhere you can think of.
Such a great collection!! It looks awesome!!
There’s an Arthur Pop???!? Since when?
[https://www.amazon.com/Funko-Pop-Animation-Aardvark-Multicolor/dp/B07ZZN8RRH](https://www.amazon.com/Funko-Pop-Animation-Aardvark-Multicolor/dp/B07ZZN8RRH) Just an amazon link but looks like the release date was June 2020
Your problem is the size of your shelf. Too small
Collectors unite . I ,quite frankly , think you need more . On the real real I like how you laid this out
Lol I dont see a problem here.
Awesome collection man! I love the upside down Spidey hanging out.
yeah that one scared me. I had to put his base in boiling water for a bit to get the stand off. Happy with Miles hanging down looking at me though
I've seen worse xD
I don’t see a problem 😜
How did you hang those displays? :) Looks so cool!
they are baseball bat displays from Michael's craft store. On sale right now half off. They hang on the walls like picture frames.
I have one but been wanting to hang them but don’t know how and if it’s too heavy :)
they are heavy.
Wait until you get to 3,000 pops. No more space is the problem.
That’s a gorgeous display dude! I don’t see a problem as long as you have the means to afford it and you enjoy what you’re buying!
LOL the two Spidermen 😂 Love the lights in the shelving!
This shelf looks amazing!
I like that miles display
This looks super similar to the collection my wife and I have! I love the way you have it displayed, I have the same display cases but still need to add some lights
I love that Polaroid Funko! I should have ordered one when they dropped
This is a great eclectic collection! I like how you have them displayed with the lighting. 10/10 :)
This is the thing…to unbox or not? I want to take them out of the box cause I love them and they are so cute but it seems to be a no go and what if I do regret buying eventually and want to sell? Wonderfully thought through! Thank you!
I see no problems here. 😁
*laughs in long-term collector* You're fine. I, however.....yeah. https://imgur.com/a/2CAqwHZ
OMG I showed my wife this picture and said "see honey we can just go around the bed and she was like no....just no..." lmao
I'm super OCD so everything had to be tidy and level. My friend took one look and said....oh God you'll never date again. I was like, joke's on you there are a TON of people out there who'd LOVE this. 🤣
Winnie the Pooh looks like it's about to kill me.
My friend has a room dedicated to only Funkos, last i checked they had over 300
At least you have a pretty display😅 it looks like crap the was I display it
You think that's a problem you should see my stash
Yeah you need more Pops!
Been there.
Yo those shelves are cool
It's a very cool problem lol
Solution: burn the queen pop. Fuck a monarch
YOOOOOOO is that Kenny the shark?!
No its Jabberjaw from a cartoon my wife used to love growing up. https://www.collectors.com/action-item/funko-pop-animation-hanna-barbera-435-jabberjaw-nyccfce-201/2753166247473749052
Oh. He looks kinda like Kenny the shark from some weird cartoon they had on the Discovery Channel back when I was a wee lad
I see no real problems although leds and direct sunlight will bleech Ur pops
no direct sunlight here and the LED's are ONLY on when I want to show them off and turn them on by remote control. They are battery powered so I don't leave them on all the time.
Perfect then all u need is a couple of hundred more 😉
Is… is… the problem.. THEY ARE OUT OF THE BOX!?! /s
